And if they say the love triangle ends this week, i can make a pretty huge bet that it was because of the pool scene (among other things). YD mustve lost any ounce of hope there..
I would also have hoped ES and KT saw each other at camp. He probably walked away even before ES pushes YD away. But if ever there was any misunderstanding, we're sure it got straightened out because of the bedroom scene :x -

I would also like to spazz about the wine cellar scene...LMH expressed KT's hurt so well! I was staring at his eyes and I nearly cried. Haha. So much props to LMH
And I really loved the part where ES (finally) had the courage to call KT. She missed him! And how I wish KT just answered his phone on time! But then again there wont be any drama, right? LOL -

My comment was not in any way excusing or condoning YD, it was making the point that KT is not sinless and pure either. He's still a wrist-grabbing, forced kiss kind of male lead, and while he's a lot more likeable than YD, and is on the way to becoming a better person, setting YD up to get a vicious beating WAS still wrong. So yes, I can and do blame him for stooping to YD's level. I find violence as a tool of power and manipulation intrinsically wrong, no matter who does it, or what the provocation. I have condemned YD for being a bully and using violence to achieve his ends, and I will criticise KT when he does so too. -

Am I the only one who thinks YD is getting really despicable? I mean, he just keeps on harrassing ES. And he even uses ES to spite KT. Way to go, YD. i'm just thankful ES fights back, although I'm pretty annoyed at the ending. But with this episode ES clearly likes KT. i would like to think that in the next episode ES would be as brave as KT in fighting for their love..

thanks everyone for all the recaps! I'm afraid KT agrees to date Rachel but their must be a GOOD reason if he decides to do that because he has, so far, been very firm and open about his feelings towards ES. I still hope it's ES he's talking to :x -
I'm actually loving the whole OST.
listening to it gives me the chills because I feel I'm in dramaland :x anyway, as much I do not dislike Rachel's character, writer-nim must give her lines that do not require pouting. Clearly she can smile once in a while. At least we see BN not in her shrieking self once in a while (don't get me wrong, I do find her character endearing). And I'm actually worried what YD is gonna blackmail KT or ES with. He had such a devilish grin when he came to KT's house. Oh, how is wednesday so far away.... -

About the preview, i'm sure they jumbled the order of the scenes again so i'm trying to figure out which came first... There are BTS pics showing KT looking far away (street scene) and i'm guessing that at some point ES walks away. So maybe the movie theatre scene came after that? And since ES's confession didn't seem flowery but matter-of-factly as what was pointed out earlier, maybe it still ended on a sad note and their real reunion comes during thr back hug scene
pure speculation, this is ) on another note, I'm with all of you when I say I'm so looking forward to ES's spunk! It's about time! -

I'm enjoying reading all your comments on the cafeteria scene
just my two cents- the end doesn't justify the means. Although it's pretty clear YD really, really just wanted to share a meal with ES, forcing her into doing do wasn't necessay. Others argue that he hasn't felt love since his childhood so he doesn't know how to act in front of the girl he likes, and it's highly possible. HOWEVER, tripping her again just to get on KT's nerves was definitely UNACCEPTABLE. Lack in social skills doesn't include not knowing that "you don't hurt the girl you like". And if I were ES, even if I do see YD's soft side and become friends with him eventually, I could never imagine him being my future bf or husband with memories of physical harm done to me. Just saying. And I must say, PSH did really well with the shaking scene. I really felt for her. She and LMH area really doing so well with the non-verbal cues
And do I so dread the impending KT-ES temporary separation?! I'm already hating the thought of it but as a lot (if not all) kdramas go, it's always there i've already got some scenarios running through my head--- an ending in the US? (Unless they've already shot that while they were still there. LOL), KT running the company or KT leaving the company and finding a name of his own? I personally think the last one would be nice...just having a peaceful life with ES :x -

I’m starting to love seeing these two interact, i.e. when Eun Sang isn’t always so concern about her status. The part where Eun Sang blurted out, “At home you don’t only speak” and the smirk/tease from Tan and the “Ah crap” expression from Eun Sang is just adorable. Kudos to Lee Min Ho and Park Shin Hye – that was a very natural act!

Episode 8 was daebak! And I agree, KT should be receiving "the most number of love confessions award" already
he wears his heart on his sleeve... :x I have a question though, is ES wearing KT's necklace in the preview (where she goes to KT's room) or it's a different one? -

Let's face it, no matter how she may want to protect KT and herself by distancing herself, at the end of the day, she's still just a girl falling in love with a boy who happens to be rich. There will be moments when she would just want to be brave as well and hold onto KT's hand. Seeing how she took that slap and bravely asked for her phone back to call KT, that was such a big big step.
