  1. ive been epilating for around two years... and i dont think its as effective anymore

is it the epilator's head problem? or the actually machine stuff?

should i be changing it yearly or monthly or never?

yeah, as dudeilovefood said, do you regularly remove the hair off of the rotating tweezers thingie?

if too much hair get stuck in there, it won't work well anymore

  2. ^ Yah, it happens when the hair is too thick.

I bled the first time when I epilated my armpit hair.

The next ones don't bleed anymore.

I'd just apply neosporin or vaseline on it.

The redness gone within a few days.

as long as you're not bleeding non stop, no need to worry ;)

Has anyone used the Broccoli Sun Cream and the Tomato Sun Cream and can give a comparison? I'm stuck between which one to order and I can't seem to find any reviews on the Tomato one. I need to stock up on sun block because I'm going to be in China for a month. I'm thinking the Broccoli's spf would be great but people have said it's thick .. and tomato is cheaper :x

i think brocolli is good for dry skin, and tomato for oily skin.

I assume that because I have their other vegetables product, the lettuce & cucumber essence and cream, they are thick, perfect for dry skin.

the tomato one, Burt Bee's has tomato toner, designated for oily/troubled skin. So the tomato skinfood one should be for that same skin type.

Does anybody know the difference between the Lettuce & Cucumber Water Drop Essence and the water jelly cream?

I tried the water drop essence that I got in a sample and I loved it. But im confused on which one to buy.

I bought both because of the samples haha

Essence is to use after you apply toner,

and then you use the cream, it's a moisturizer.

    I have both.

If your current moisturizer is fine, you should get the essence. <3

    I <3 this product

I have a stubborn raised-pimple, bee sting size, that I've been trying to get rid of for 2 months.

I tried Neutrogena On The Spot Treatment, Neosporin, Bio Oil, they just made the pimple more inflamed and dark.

I tried steaming my face, it didn't work out too.

Since I've been using this product last weekend, the stupid zit is gradually shrinking :D

It dries out the pimple, but it doesn't sting/burn unlike regular acne medicine.

  6. The Face Shop Nature's Recipe Firming Honey Facial Mask

    * Peel-off.

    * A powerful lifting mask formulated with honey from Korea's Jeju Island.

    * This peel-off honey mask immediately hydrates and firms for silky soft skin.

    * Forms a dense layer over facial contours that peels away cleanly when dry to leave skin feeling soft and supple.

    * Against animal testing.

    * Made in Korea.

    Source: Walgreens

I tried this honey mask last night.

    I have dry-normal skin type.

The liquid is sticky and thick.

It felt cool and tingling on my face.

This mask has strong peeling power just like what the packaging says!

After waited 20 mins, just as instructed, I peeled the mask off. It's pretty painful !!

Just imagine when you used the nose strip, but you put it on your whole face, not just your nose LOL

So I don't think it's good if you have many pimples, it can irritate them.

Avoid eyebrows and hairline as much as you can.

The mask pulled off some of my baby hair on my forehead hairline. >__<

After I peeled everything off, It made my skin kinda reddish, not sunburn kind of reddish, just a little on my cheeks.

I applied toner as instructed, and then I applied my regular moisturizer.

The strong peeling power cleaned up my pores, I noticed my skin's softer and it's easier to apply foundation evenly this morning.

It doesn't make my skin dry and I haven't noticed any breakouts. :D <3 <3

If you have $13 to splurge, you should try it out.

  7. I got a sample of Gold Caviar cream and tried them last night

OMG, it smells SO good, very soothing, and it made my skin SO soft. I woke up, my skin looked very refreshed ! >_<

I'm SO gonna buy that someday, although it's kinda too expensive for me .___.

  8. Celery Face Wash Foam - It made my skin soft

Cappucino Face Wash thingy - OMG!IM SO IN LOVE WITH THE SMELL!!!! it made my skin really soft

I love the capuccino mousse face foam thingie too, I just don't really like the coffee smell. >_<

I got black sesame Seeds sample self-heating mask sample from previous purchase.

It made be break out and left dry patches on same area on my face T___T

    edit:

Was looking for the face foam, found this seller on ebay.

This seller's skinfood stuff is pretty cheap. I'm gonna splurge !

  9. ^ there's no specific explaination

every person's skin reacts differently to the product.

It depends on the skin type too.

I tried aloe bb cream, eventhough aloe is supposed to be good for dry skin, it reacted opposite way on my skin

It made my skin very dry and patchy.

It didn't improve after I applied a moisturizer for extra dry skin. The aloe bb cream just made my skin look very dehydrated.

    I love Skinfood Gingko !! :D

I'm on my 2nd tube now.

    I use shade 2.

I tried cheap drugstore brand like Loreal true match, to expensive ones like Estee Lauder and Smashbox. This Gingko is my favorite.

I usually apply powder after, because the Bb cream coverage is sheer and I like the matte-finish.

  10. This week I'm not receiving any packages !! Wow, this hasn't been happened for monthssssss LOL :D

Last week I received a bunch of clothes in the mail, from Martin+Osa, VS, and AE, and bought some in-store, that's additional 10-12 pieces in my closet.

But I still managed not to go overbudget this month, unlike the past 2 months (Xmas and after xmas sales) >_<

I've enough shopping. I'm watching a cute jacket on eBay, but I'm not interested to bid on it.

Last weekend I just found out there's a second and bigger Coach Factory store opening soon in the beg. of March. <3

I'll hold the shopping till then. :P
