Guys.. Though the coffee prince is already old, I haven't watch it yet. I want to but because of the male lead, I did not think twice to not to watch it. I focused more on YEH's acting... Can someone help me what am I supposed to do?... It really bothers me since I like YEH ever since she started acting. Some of her dramas aren't good to watch in my own sake. I think its because I choose male lead that best suits her when it comes to her dramas.. help!

Please do watch Coffee Prince...please oh there is a chance that you will love Go Eu Chan..In our country the rating reach as high as everage of 37% ..I thought Yoon Eun Hye is tomboy then because of her powerful and convicing potrayal of Go Eu Chan. She is not as beautiful as Kang He Na or as princess in Goong and she is even prettier in Vineyard Man because she wore no make up in CP but you will find her so cute...cute .. adorable Eu Chan ..My mom and friends would say that tomboy is pretty cute without make up..You will not see her as YEH but pure Go Eu Chan..I can watch CP over 100 times and still enjoy it.

About Gong Yoo, I swear I hate him at first because I don't find him compatible with YEH but as I watched him acting opposite Go Eu Chan, I find Gong Yoo sexy and very very charming..As to the chemistry please do watch CP and I won't comment about their chemistry just please watch it.. CP remains my all time favorite..Gong Yoo is five older than YEH but they acted very well.... But brace yourself because the two leads of CP have many kisses as compared to My Fair Lady.

fresh oppa, i couldnt agree with you more.
no offense to the other cast members since i know they have done their part to the fullest, but u cant deny that if it wasnt for YEH and her force in the drama field i doubt this drama would have sustained and maintained a consistent 2 digit viewership rating, with what it had to offer in terms of production value - it didnt have a big budget to play with, it didnt have the convenience of time, it didnt have a reliable/trustworthy production company and the scripts were either delivered a night before or on the day of it airing date. Yet it still managed to bring in a huge, loyal fanbase and also managed to fill up the full 30-32 CF slots, unlike its rival series. Given these tough circumstances, it started on top and finished on top.. if this isnt what you call a successful drama, i have NO idea what is.. (and it seems some media outlets are still saying otherwise.. sighs)
I am only left with love and admiration for YEH.. i cant help but support this fine actress.

now.. on a lighter note.. im gonna miss these two!!

I agreed with you...Yes...Yes...YEH you are indeed a rating hit maker....despite of the flaws of MFL in direction and script..YEH still managed to bring the drama to two -digit rating and the last episode is the highest ever...I believe in you..how come you managed to create a chemistry with all your leading men? you are really passionate in your craft.. please do'nt make us wait for so long...

Oh your detractors will be sad because, they fail to bring you down..I initially a little bit angry at PD, director, writers for failing to give you an amazing comeback vehicle but your talent really offset all flaws of the drama and this is a success..

Oh man, it's over already. I wonder if YEH is gonna take the cast/crew to the BBQ place [or something I forgot] like she promised them in the beginning after the show ends just like she did with CP gang

Gosh, YEH is much prettier if she a minimal make-up...My mom would always say that she is more prettier without make up or minimal make-up...

First, I want a happy ending after all this is a rom-com.. While this drama did not live up my expectations because of thin plot and not so great script, however this is still an enjoyable drama and thanks to YEH, YSH and MCW..their talents offset the many flaws in script and direction..

YEH's detractors will not be happy because despite of MFL's flaws, despite of many bad publicities in an effort to bring down our YEH darling, the rating managed to reach 2 digit...YEH, you are still a winner...Your acting is still amazing..

Oh, a little bit said because Jung II Woo's potential is not maximized here..maybe there is next time...I hope the writers would come up with exciting and fresh happy ending..

YEH, don't be sad because MFL is still a success..YEH, please do'nt make us wait for so long..I believe that you will bounce back, you can do another amazing hit..While MFL fails to do better than CP (CP is still my all time favorite) in terms of rating and critics' review ...I am very sure, there will be future projects that can do better than CP..You did your best for the love of MFL, imagine your brother doing comeo for this ..really how amazing you are to make your fans happy..

Oh how come, they call YSH very old for YEH?. He is charming and he looks young for his age...

Belated Happy Birthday to YEH! Hope to see photos of her birthday celebration with the MFL co-stars.

Two questions I would like to put forward to all of you....

1. What role would you like YEH to play in her future drama?

2. Who would you like her to be paired with?

My response to the two questions:

1. I would like her to co-start with Kim Sung Ah in a drama where they will play the role of sisters who grow up having a great aversion for men and relationships seeing how their mother suffered because of their philandering father (hehehe...it's great thinking of a script!) ..comedy-drama... I think the two will hit it off well as sisters in the drama.

2. To be paired off (not exactly in the plot I described in no. 1) with the following:

a. Jung Il Woo...I have nothing against YSH but I see great chemistry between YEH and JIW if the latter were the male lead..of a drama they would both star in
b. Lee Min Ho:

c. Kang Ji Hwan

d. Jae Hee

The four are quite intense in portraying their emotions in the drama they starred in...they would certainly meet a match in YEH

1. nice suggestion, oh I love Kim Sung Ah in My Name is Kim Samsung...How i wish that she would work with Ha Ji Won in a political thriller movie (no leading man for YEH and Ha Ji Won has a partner and no kissing scene and love angle just for YEH for a change)

2. a movie or drama about love (not comedy) with Korean American Dennis Oh or Dennis Oh Neil, (it is okay with me if they have passionate scenes) and the story is about two people who fall in love amid of diversities and the setting is in Europe like France or Switzerland

3. a crime-murder thriller (movie) with Won Bin where he will play a detective trailing a crime suspect and YEH will be playing a beautiful woman-murderer

there are many in my mind..

First, I do'nt know if you visit this thread..But still I want to join YEH warriors to greet you belated Happy Birthday...Are you aware that you have many fans from all over the country because of Coffee Prince and Goong..Well I am one of those who likes you ...

I first watched you in CP when it was aired here in our country and I am wondering if you are a lesbian in real life then (so sorry and now I know you are not). Then I looked for your other dramas...May God continue to pour you more blessings--good health, wisdom and much love from your family, friends and supporters.. May the Holy Spirit continue to guide you in all your undertakings...hope you stay humble, hardworking and strong. Please remain obedient to your parents because God command us to honor our parents..

As my wish for you, well movies and dramas which will draw good reviews from critics, fans and judges of awards bodies very soon..don't make us wait for two years to start acting please..because if you that you will only do two projects when you reach 30...

Hope no more romantic scandals (rumors and false) ..I wish that people will talk about how great you are in acting in these critically acclaimed future movies or drama..I wish you will receive much love in your singing career, modelling as well rather than talking about you because of dating rumors.

I wish you fall in love with someone not in the entertainment world, not someone who is also under the scrutiny of public eyes so you can keep your lovelife very private..

Well if you still chooses the one who is also an actor or a singer, or an athlete or a public figure well it will be fine with me as long as you are happy and he is a good man...whether he is younger or older or if his age same with your father, I really don't mind as long as you will be happy..

I don't mind if he is not rich or not handsome.. But if he is handsome and good man (this is indeed a bonus and better) so your future children will be good-looking also... But please hope he is single and unattached and someone who is not into drugs and vices and not heavy drinker .. But these are only my wishes and I cannot impose on you..Continue your good values in life..

Yes you have also ups and downs, a lot of criticisms but never mind, just keep moving as many people love you...I hope you will remain sweet to your supporters...with a lot of love...

And yes I agree that YEH looks best with minimal makeup. I wonder why her stylist wanna tie her hair up at the back. the rabbit tail is quite distracting to me most of the times.

Yes..yes.. YEH is more beautiful with minimal or without make-up. I will wait patiently when TCOA DVD's finally land in our country so I can watch it with subs so I can appreciate it more and I can set aside its flaws when I watched it through internet.

I am quite disturbed with the second kissing scene (it is fine if it is passionate ) I am just wondering if they would eventually sleep together before marriage? is it?..well I belong to a conservative family and I am Catholic which is very against to premarital sex and I feel sad (CP is enough and I don't want that all her roles will require her to end up in bed with every leading man in all her dramas)..Any way, what I can do? The saving grace of My Fair Lady is the fine performances of YEH and YSY..the second leads are fine..

While the lovey-dovey scenes did not impress me much...their intense emotional scenes are great..It's good that there is no extension because the writers are running out of ideas.I am sure the director, production and even writers tried their best to come up with a fine drama since this is YEH comeback vehicle..it's just they are not at their best..(common we can not be at our best all the times). It's so sad that this YEH comeback vehicle.

But I will not curse Yi Gim the production that gave us very impressive drama Memories in Bali and Money War...While the producer is not at best here in this last project..I should thank them for NOT giving YEH a worse drama..For me My Fair Lady is not great but IT IS NOT WORSE....There are efforts to give each scene fresh attack but you can't deny that there a lot of repetitions ..

YEH's character as arrogant, immature heiress..the writers did not do much to make audience to symphatize with her..why is it she is arrogant, immature? oh yes because she lost her parents, a lover..While the writers managed to a little bit convice the viewers to sympathize with her by coming up some sort of little reasoning but credit should be given to YEH's charisma..YEH is such a very fine actress to make her viewers cry with her, sympathize with her..despite of her not so lovable character as Kang He Na.. Because of her and YSY good acting, well viewers can connect with her..

But for me there is something wrong, why make her character to hurt Lee Tae Yoon..While the audience can start sympathize with her because of the development of her character..the writers should not let her hurt another person to fight her love for the butler..I am happier if Kang He Na and Lee Tae Yoon did not end up as lovers in the start of the series..I am happier if Lee Tae Yoon reject her and eventually fall in love with her. But when this time happen, Kang He Na realize that she does not really like Lee Tae Yoon and it is only because of his similarities with her ex and it is Dong Chan whom she truly loves..But Lee Tae Yoon will really fall in love with her not because of pride but because of great love after all Kang He Na is the heroin here.. At least Kang He Na does not have to hurt him and Lee Tae Yoon has no choice but to let her go (the price of not realizing He Na's importance to his heart in much earlier time) ..

The writers should capitalize with the power and economic clash to establish hindrance in Dong Chan and He Na's love instead..As much as that I want that the two second leads will end up with another but there is something I don't like this because this is another similarity in the VineYard Man that implied that the two second leads are possibly end up with each other..

YEH did her best for this drama..you can see her efforts.. oh another saving grace is the OST..the duet really makes me happy I love Yoon Sang Hyun and YEH for doing great in their duet..I think YEH did much effort than that of CP despite the fact that the rating is not good as compared to Goong and CP ..the mural-painting, the rumba etc... She even do a lot of promotion for this drama..many GY-YEH fans are so happy for the voice recorder of YEH requesting songs in his radio program Thank You for Music but for me this is more of a promotion of her drama My Fair Lady rather than her friendship with GY..Oh don't get me wrong I love GY because of CP and the truth is I love her chemistry with him and I enjoy CP than MFL and yes I agree with you that they are still friends in real life.. I won't argue with you please forgive me.. But again I do believe that GY is helping her promote the drama because YEH needs every little help so that the drama will not go down to one digit rating.... But the truth is YEH makes her very best for MFL or TCOA and I admire her for that..it so happen that the the script is not smart enough to break the record of her previous hits..

And you cannot deny the fact that she remains a star in Korea because TCOA is still a success in the rating department ..two digit is still good..YEH don't make us wait for two years to act again..You can bounce back with better projects..You can do better projects even better with CP..sorry for long comment..

Me too. Poor Tae-Yoon!

Hi YEH warriors,

Just hope writers would give Tae Yoon great scenes in the last four episodes.. I am very happy that the rating pick up..as to the kiss..many are happy..YEH attacked each kissing scene with different leading men differently ...I don't understand Korean so I say then that it seems YEH's kiss was marred with reservation and lack of passion..with your comments now I understand why is it like that because that how it should be..

I hope Korean fans will watch next episode because next one is very critical as swallow the sun is ending next week..Please don't let the rating go down to 1 digit...good rating is still good. How can she get offers of better scripts for dramas and movies if she failed in her last drama...

MFL's plot, script and scenes execution are okay but still did not live up to the expectations for a comeback vehicle of YEH. But we have to give credit to YEH and the cast for doing good in respective roles and this is not a flop and the rating is still good despite of many flaws of the drama...This is a saving grace..

As to the duet of YEH & YSH, I don't expect much from YEH as a singer as she herself has no confidence in her singing ability based on her interview..But now I can say, she is indeed a singer.. while she is not like the Davichi (high power voice) but definitely her voice is sweet and she can carry a tune.. I fell in love with their duet..

Oh well I am not a Korean.. and it seems she has many fans overseas and many visited her thread

just read in Asianfanatics that YEH & YSH denied dating rumors..YEH agency's The House Company even said the two have not met in private before..

In my opinion, there is nothing wrong between friends hanging out. Is YSH married or single? After MFL's airing, I don't see anything wrong if YEH & YSH hang out as friends..I also read that Gong Yoo said in his radio program that he hanged out with YEH and other coffee prince co-stars during his military leave..I also read that YEH was allegedly said to have hanged out with GY, Shin Min Ah, and two other GY's bestfriends in a barbeque house a few months back but there is no scandal because there is nothing wrong having dinner or lunch with friends..

YEH is said to be close to Kim Jong Kook (well this is another story because rumors about them never die as they have many fans)

I think it is better for YEH to fall in love someone not in the entertainment world to keep her privacy...But of course it is up to her (I have no right to dictate her..she did not even know me). This is only my opinion..shippers please forgive me

you think too much. to me, all i know is that home will always be where your heart is no matter what. no matter how rich or poor a person can be, if that particular person can be true to themselves then then will live a simple life. yes there will always be hard times, but because they know a lot about themselves they can survive. i think that what you are saying is the reason why Heena could not admit that she likes the butler for who he is.

Rating drop again so sad, so sad. Vineyard Man started low but VM little by little improved (yes, maybe the storyline of VM is better than MFL)..

First congrats to YEH, YSY, JIW and the other nice girl (second lead) and the cast despite of so many flaws in MFL plot, script etc. it is still 2-digit rating but the trend is really really scary (please pray that it will not go down to 1 digit) rating..

so what the problems? My insights? and YEH warriors I love all but you may NOT LIKE my opinion so sorry.... They says BOF had also many flaws in script and even in acting but it was a big hit in rating department ..(Oh I forgot the boys are all pretty) But YSH is also charming despite of his age..really, he is even more handsome than other actors..

My friends in our country says YEH & YSY are pretty and good individually...but the chemistry? for us they have but it is not as amazing as compared to YEH-KJK, YEH-JJH and YEH-GY. I don't like Oh Man Suk at first but because of the fine storyline of VM, they developed a chemistry...yes, YEH had a good chemistry with OMS primarily because of the story--- simple and yet very moving.

Oh if only MLF has smart script, definitely they can make the best out of YEH-YSH couple...another thing the first sypnosis which I read months ago is much better as compared now.. I expect that the butler will really go after the hidden fortune during early episodes but he fall in love with Kang He Na... the drama shifts to love relationship alone of the two lead stars and there is nothing wrong with that but you have to develop sub plots to keep the main plot going..

I expect that the PD, writers will touch the lifestyle of the rich and famous (even though impassing) and you can't give us the conventional face alone of the rich like just show the viewers of the pretty clothes, accessories then ends there..they should have give us what is now the trend in korea ...(look at Gossip girl..they tackle something about the lives of the rich and famous)..

In my opinion, it would be better if a rift between the families of Kang and the Lee will develop because the lawyer Tae Boo is fighting for the civil and human rights of the oppressed because of He Na's greedy uncle...lawyer will face problem because of his love for He Na and his principle to fight for the oppressed.. writers please give the second male lead dignity after all He Na will abandon him for the butler in the end..at least there is much pretty reason why He Na and Tae Boo will part aside from the fact that she is falling for the butler...

I just hope He Na's character will have a transformation, it is not enough that the butler tame her, maybe she will start become concern towards the poor after all she once did the community service..she should have started to open her eyes to the society even just little...

The MFL's plot and script are the reason why the rating started to drop and they can't blame YEH alone for that ..Oh the dating rumors of YEH-YSH (if they are lovers in real life, this issue is okay) but if the reason is only media ploy to improve MLF rating, then you failed miserably by resorting to cheap gimmick...

Now as to the ending, I don't expect much after all Yigim fails to capitalize YEH's talent and popularity...Well I am only dreaming that the ending will not be predictable..I just want YEH to give much (not necessary all) of her fortune to the poor in the end and this is predictable but at least you will love her character ...Just hope you have surprise twist in the end as saving grace...

so why is the fourth episode turned out to be highest , in our country because it is the start of He Na -Tae Boo romance ....(only our opinion not necessarily we are right) ..For the ending...it is expected that YEH-YSH will end up and many still wishing that the two second lead stars to fall in love each other)

But please do great justice why He Na will leave his BF for the bulter and do'nt make the second lead bad to justify that ...

My dream is that the ending is uncoventional, I go for He Na-Tae Boo ending...because the phrase Take Care of my Agasshi belonged to the butler telling this to Tae Boo (asking Tae Boo to take care of YEH) in the end..

My dream subplots and ending may draw laughters and criticisms and you many will hate me and it is okay because I am not a writer of a drama but the writers of MFL should do better because this is their job..

YEH keep fighting.. I am very sure you can bounce back with better projects in the future...
