i'm bumping this thread back up again to give my quick review of the product.
it works really really well. to the point i get excited when i use it after 2-3 days! xD the first time you use it, there won't be much skin coming off, but the subsequent times you'll definitely notice more skin balls forming. it's a bit gross, but it's so so satisfying. my skin looks less dull and more smooth. it's also SO gentle, you don't even feel it. you just have to gently rub your face and the skin comes off by itself. i think it may have reduced blackheads on my nose, too.
i didn't notice my skin being more dry than when using other products, either. i have oily, acne-prone skin, by the way.

just wanna add my 2 cents about ordering from toyo japan. i'm located in quebec, canada, and i order on thursday 18th evening and it was delivered tuesday 23rd afternoon! not even 4 days. very, very impressed (it took me longer to get stuff from the US before harhar). the real reason i wanted to comment was to say that i did NOT pay any custom fees, so it's really really at random whether or not you get charged.
didn't try the product yet though, will try tonight after washing my face. i'm so essited! 8D

^ lol woah bunny how many tops have you got?!?! x__x and you keep buying!! lol!
-
that's quite amazing! i've always wanted to know how to do this... but everytime i saw a tutorial (i must admit i haven't really searched though) it was mostly only effective if you had short layers, which i don't have. so this is great! thanks!!

are you jaime from http://jaimewearsblack.blogspot.com/?
it's funny because you've got the same exact closet as she does but you have a different name and live in a different state lol

i think i need to rejoin. o__o
i was on ban when this thread first started... but i was eventually able to pay all my outstanding bills including my $500 credit card bill. wee!
but then this summer i went to new york. didn't spend much there, thank god, but still had to pay for hotel and bus and other tidbits. hotel + bus was $280.
the same week-end it was my boyfriend's birthday... ~$250 for a nintendo ds with waranty and accessory kit. then a week later, $30 on a flash card to play downloaded games *coughs*
we came back from new york and i felt like we didn't have a proper dinner (we didn't!!) so we had sushi. $50.
i was so proud of myself for not spending so much on shopping in NY, so i decided to buy a DSLR that i totally couldn't resist anymore after playing with it at circuit city. i've wanted it for a while so... and i had gift cards so it ended up costing me $260.
then cell phone bill. for some reason it hiked up to $100 something instead of my usual $60. o__O
then mini-rent i have to pay my sis, $75 (for half a month since i'm moving back in with my mom *phew*), and transit pass, $84.
then it was my best friend's birthday. $100 for meal (for me and boyfriend), and $100 for gift.
of course, that is not counting the purchases i make from time to time. three or four pieces of clothing, skincare products, magazines, food... probably adds up to about $200.
OMG OMG. it's only now when i write the numbers that i realize how much i've spent in A MONTH. THAT'S RIGHT PEOPLE. AUGUST 20 TO SEPTEMBER 17.
i need to stop. i'm resisting a LOOOT of things right now but it's so hard.
plus i'm moving back in with my mom so i need to pay for a bunch of stuff. new desk (my old one won't fit), bedside table (don't have one), and paint because the walls in my room are an icky mustard yellow that don't match with the covers and sheets i already have.

my first relationship lasted a little bit more than two years. it was serious and stuff, but mostly negative. as in, the cons outweighed the pros. but i don't regret it so much, i learned a lot of stuff about loyalty, honesty, respect... all of which my ex-boyfriend lacked.
-
my first makeout session... i think i tried to find it nice, but we kept hitting each other's teeth, it wasn't that cool. o_O i don't quite remember, mustn't have been a good memory bwaha.

i haven't shopped in a while.. and now i despise shopping. unless its online shopping
woo.
omg me too... after my short ban, i bought a lot of things online but not so much in real life. i get tired really easily, and get frustrated when there are so many people in stores. i used to be able to fight and rummage my way through sales but not anymore. @_@ which is... good maybe, but then i still shop online. -__- so i became lazy but i still spend a lot, urgh.Yup! Same with me. I realize being in a mall for a while makes me tired. I hate the feeling of tiredness after a day of shopping. But I totally enjoy looking at LV or Gucci purses online from time to time lol.

^ bah!! food doesn't count. food is important. food is ESSENTIAL. D:
even if it's just cake. i have this feeling you bought really expensive ones though...
-
^ hahaha WON'T THAT MAKE YOU SPEND EVEN MORE?! since she will probably get some sort of discount? oh wait is it an interview for an internship with LV or is it at the store?
you guys live a pretty exciting life *jealous*

long time since i last posted in this thread.
i slowly paid off my disgusting cell phone bill, got my income tax return ($____$!) and paid off a good chunk of my credit card (i'll pay the remaining $200 with my next paycheck), so i'm putting myself off my shopping cut-back. it sort of became a good habit though, i bought less but better quality items. i've strangely become more and more picky and while i LOOOVE window shopping rarely will i find something that i really like. so that's a lot less to spend!!

hmm actually i think it'd probably be more like 'le coeur n'arrête pas de sauter (un batterment), mais je refuse de le laisser faire'hi!~ could anyone please help me with the french translation to: the heart keeps skipping though i refuse to let it.it would be a big help! =) thanks!
so many french speakers here in soompi, i'm surprised.
-
new pair of shoes for the summer, definitely. probably those sandals i've been wanting to order online for so long. they were $50 after shipping fees.
with the remaining $50... assuming i've already ate, i'd probably buy myself a nice top or dress. for summer as well. OR! if i find one, a nice black handbag.
-
ahh.
i'd totally buy myself a nice, short haired wig, the kind wonder girls' yoobin wore in the tell me days or the one that sun ye sports now that so hot... love the hairstyles, but after suffering close to 15 years with ugly short haircuts, i don't feel like cutting my long hair now. but yeah if i had wigs i could just slip it on whenever i felt like it. how cool!
nice and natural looking wigs are expensive though. :X

i'm vietnamese but people mistake me for chinese ALL THE TIME.
apparently because i'm lighter than most vietnamese people... EVERYBODY thinks i'm chinese, chinese people included. they come up to me and speak to me in cantonese and i'm all like o_o

^ most people who could afford to donate clothing to thrift stores are rich people who don't wanna go through the trouble of re-selling them... and a lot of their clothes would be branded. that's what somebody told me. :X
-
^ i agree completely, and i'm sure most would. i used to buy a lot more in quantity, preferring cheap prices over craftmanship. these days i've been trying to choose my items better and even if i'd end up spending the same amount of money for less items, at least i'd love them a lot. >_< i also think that if you care for your clothes gently, a lot of them can last a long time, even if they come from cheap stores like forever21.
i couldn't however bring myself to spend a lot for basic items such as really simple t-shirts or tank tops.
-
is anyone else a bit disappointed in zipia's new stock like me...? i don't know, up until last fall or so, the website was so exciting! the pictures were big, clear, the styling was awesome! now i find all the pieces look the same and are madly overpriced... .__. i don't check it as often as i did before anymore...
-
bah i broke my ban. or will in a day or two. i just found the MbyMJ clutch in the colour i've been lusting after for so LONG. the price is good too, and i just can't let it pass up. T______T
TAX RETURN CHEQUE PLEASE COME IN ALREADY!!!
so how about... i call this a cut-back. i haven't actually GONE shopping for a long while, so that's a first. i used to always come back home with 4 or 5 shopping bags. .__.
-
i bought that black dress i wanted for my friend's birthday supper... T_T; and also those sponge curler balls because while getting prepared for the supper i realized how much i hated curling my hair.
so yeah total spent is less than $100 so it's not too bad yet... -___- but that's it till i pay off all my bills. ahhh end of the month coming up. :X
-
vagina choker? xDD never seen that one!!That's not as bad as her limited edition vagina choker -
^^ $500 ON 4 ITEMS?!?!?! D:
what's the point of going off the ban and re-banning after if you're gonna spend that much. i mean seriously!!!

^ the bottle i received from toyo says gel. they probably made a mistake when they took that photo and changed the labeling since then. nothing surprising, japan is full of engrish!
