    Even though I still have moments where I wish this drama was 18-20 episodes, I am quite impressed that this story fit within 16 episodes. They were able to tie all ends together and for me, I felt like I didn't reeally question anything after finishing it and this is all thanks to writer Noh and director Kim.  For example, that painting of the tree. We saw it in the very first episode and they continuously showed it and again with the finished product at the end. If they hadn't done that, I would have been questioning "what was that painting about? what happened to it?". More examples, was that OY saw the video OS made, it would have drove me crazy if they didn't show it and OS finding out about MC, though it was a subtle scene, I'm just glad he found out. There are other things too, but you guys probably get the general idea.
    I can't thank writer and director enough for this finished product. I've had drama experiences where, things are left out and it always drove me crazy in the end and I always question what happened? did they know about it or see it? etc etc
    The only lliiiittttllllee itty bittyy thing I would have liked to see if this drama was longer was what happened within the year they were apart, like just a quick rundown of scenes with OY getting surgery/treatment and OS recovery and why he wasn't courageous enough to see her other than that he was afraid she wouldn't like how he looked, but I understand why they didn't show it, it would have been a more I guess boringish ending and the ending we got kind of went with what they had said in that scene about "meeting again" it was like a mere reflection of that conversation and also because the ending gave us the answers to us wondering "omgsh can she see?" "Is OS alive?" to "OMG she can see!" "OS's alive!", as a melo-drama,  it added that dramatic relief to us instead of just simply giving us the answer. Overall it was still a brilliant ending and a happpy one too! so I'm way satisfied. :)

    Also I love that the last episode simply focused on our main leads and that everyone else had less screen time. I'm glad they didn't bring Sora back, and the situation with gangster Kim was quite small and less dramatic and that even if MC died he still had his men helping OS and JS out. It was simply done in a way that helped me see Kim has fallen, although the whole gangster thing isn't gone, at least the big man was.

    They really stayed realistic to the story and there was never once when I said, "wow this is so cheesy".

    Don't be too sad my fellow wind blowers, we have to understand where he is coming from. In the acting industry they are portraying characters that are not themselves. They have to absorb them into the character that may eventually fall in love. One of the most important things of being actor and actress is they have to distinguish acting away from their personal lives. Like JIS said if he had personal feelings, he wouldn't have been able to film like he should have, and look how well he did with TWTWB, he was able to really just be OS. They are already friends and if it had happen and if he had involved any personal feelings, a lot of things would have become awkward for themselves as friends and for themselves acting so close with each other. They are both really professional and I believe if they did have deep feelings for each other, they would handle it themselves outside of acting together. He needs to respect himself, others and especially SHK.
    Also actors and actresses always need the time to take themselves out of the character. Like some actors/actresses may have said before, they may have only developed those feelings because it was about the story/characters and not really about their own feelings. So to really find your true feelings, you really need to separate drama life and personal life. A really good example is Yoo In Ah and Ji Hyun Woo in "Queen In Hyun's man", it was really hard for them to really figure out their feelings, esp yoo in ah and she had to take her time outside of the industry to figure it out and on the good side, they became a couple, but we just have to understand how difficult it is for actresses and actors in the industry, especially JIS and SHK who is so popular right now.

    I too would love if they became a couple, but we know it is difficult, and their are some anti-fans that will always be harsh, so let's let fate be the decision maker and whatever will happen will happen. Let's just be thankful that they are already really good friends and that they were happy to have done this project together.

    I understand and respect JIS and the way he said it really makes sense and well put. You can't blame him, they JUST recently finished filming.

    Oh mann sorry for topping the page once again but omgsh, you guys, at school today people were passing out Cotton Candy............ like.....really?? I'm having TWTWB moments everyday!


    haha well anyways, what I really wanted to say was that.....

    I've had such a hard time trying to write this post......

    so here it goes.....

    it may be repetitive or very similar to my previous posts, so my apologies

    though TWTWB has ended just a few days ago, I really wanted to give thanks to many many things/ppl.

    first off THANK YOU WINTER WIND BLOWERS, without you guys here to post amazing stuff I wouldn't know what to do with all my thoughts, excitement and love for this drama. Thanks for taking the time to read my posts whether it was long or short. Thanks for all the spoilers, news, recapping, links, photos, bts, fan vids, fan art and so much other fabulous things. You all are awesome! we will forever be winter wind blowers!! aza aza!!

    though they might not see this, THANK YOU writer Noh, director Kim, and the crew for providing us such a masterful piece of work. I have never been so attached to a melo-drama before and to have experienced this journey with everyone was totally worth it. TWTWB has definitely made this winter a memorable one, probably one of my favorite. Some people may see it differently by the story line was just magnificent. Writer Noh, thanks for knowing exactly what you wanted to write about and finishing it on time, thanks for being so curious about someone who wants to die and someone who wants to live, and thanks for never letting anyone change how you wanted to write this story. I think it went well because no one could have influenced anything. Thanks for this wonderful HAPPY ENDING. Thanks for providing us with previews each week and staying so ahead of schedule in filming, creating a well rounded drama with no conflicts. It is only now, 2013 that people start to understand why dramas should always be ahead of schedule. This drama is definitely ranked at the very top of my drama list. Lastly, thanks for making OY and OS have SO MUCH skinship! from beginning to end, love was just everywhere, whether it was brother/sister love or not, it was still amazing.

    THANK YOU to Jo In Sung and Song Hye Kyo for portraying Oh Soo and Oh young so brilliantly. The both of you were such the perfect pair to play them. I have cried, laugh, and smile through this journey. I am glad that you both have been long time friends and that it took this long for this collaboration. I think it was fate that it took this long, because it is now that your career has skyrocketed even higher and the chemistry was spot on perfect. This was the perfect time for the both of you to be in this together. :x

    THANK YOU to the supporting cast for making this drama what it is and complete. Thanks to Kim Bum and Eunji for giving us a comedic relief and loyalty to OS. Thank you MC for turning over the bad guy card and believing in OS's love.

    THANK YOU to Kangta for writing such beautiful songs "Grey Paper" and "and One". Thanks to Yesung, Taeyeon, Gummy, The One and Kim Boa for singing so passionately. Definitely some of my favorite OSTs.

    I'm a winter baby and have always loved the winter season but after this drama my winters will never be the same! I love it so much more!! I will never view the winter and the wind the same anymore. When the wind blows, I like to close my eyes and just enjoy it...(except for when it ruins my hair..and freezes me....lol)
    My WED/THUR will never be the same, it will always be O2 days.
    I learned how precious "TIME" is within your life, so appreciate everything and enjoy everything!
    I love long over-sized coats, bells/wind-chimes, suspenders and cotton candy
    I have so much appreciation for people with disabilities
    I love that the days that OS had left was the same(ish) as the days we had left with the drama.

    as much as I love Won Bin, and whether it's true or not, I am SO GLAD he rejected this project! JIS was MEANT TO BE OS and SHK was MEANT TO BE OY. This project was definitely destined to be for JIS and SHK, no doubt.

    It will be very hard to see them get paired with other people..... :(

    drama withdrawal really sucks... *sigh*

    AHHHHHHH!!! before i fully watch this again... I'm actually sad that some people think the ending was not as good or that it was tragic...(I feel like these were similar responses to city hunter too).. :( please STOP questioning if the ending was happy or not.....it's not even a question to be asked... [-X .. %-(  ..IT WAS A HAPPY ENDING. PERIOD.

    Majority of us had asked for a happy ending, we wanted a happy ending, it's what everyone wanted, so please don't second guess or twist it with the negative energy.... to me, it was definitely a happy ending. Who wouldn't chose a happy ending.

    I believe that we were seeing the last scenes through OY's eyes and it didn't get blurry till the end-ish, this whole series has been viewed through ppl who can see clearly, OS, JS, HS, SW, LJ, MH, MC, even ourselves as viewers. I think writer Noh and director Kim purposely made it blurred for us viewers to see what it's like for OY to see the love of her life for the first time, the world she's missed out on and how she's progressed after her surgery, it's kinda like putting yourself in someone else's shoes. It let's us know why she still has her blind cane with her, because she's still in recovery. We have to remember that Dr. Noona said this was a 10% chance to recover, and that it wasn't going to be easy, it was going to take time, OY was the lucky 10% chance, and it has only been a few months and I believe that she was still on the road to full recovery. The blurred scenes help us define OY and how far she's come and how much motivation she has to LIVE now. As for OS, look guys, he was stabbed.....STAAAABBBBBED.....and stabbed just once....we have to note that JS ALMOST stabbed OS again but dropped his knife instead. Let's just be glad he wasn't shot. OS has always had the motivation to live, the only reason he would die would be because of OY, nothing else. This stab wasn't gonna let him believe this is the end. Also poor JS who was put in that situation (it's like you knew he didn't have a choice. It's actually good he was put in that situation though because he REALLY realizes what's important and whats not, since he's always been like so attached to the whole money deal thing).
    (that stabbed scene or "person dying" scenes are common with melo dramas, c'mon it's a melo drama people. You kinda have to have that kind of a scene, because yes, it make us question whether that specific person died or not, but for this specific JS stabbed OS scene it wasn't like the ultimate blood shed, he wasn't constantly and brutally stabbing him, OS survived MC's stabbed and MC went even deeper with the knife, who says OS wouldn't survive JS's stab?)


    Well........ these are just some of my thoughts on this finale. Others will see it differently than I do.
    whether you believe it was a happy ending or not. We all just have to take it as it is. This was overall a masterpiece of a story and well directed. I don't want to second guess writer noh at all. This was her story and it was simply brilliant and perfect.

    See the good side of things not the bad! :)

    WOW!!! I leave for less than 12 hours and come back with so many post to catch up on!!

    I just came on, looked at the page number...........and this was literally my reaction........

    I'm like super extremely anxious to see what happens in our finale. Let's stay forever positive but also not keep our hopes so high though right? only 3 more days and WED will tell us what will happen to our beloved couple. The pictures may say A LOT, but we never know if there's a twist and what not......
    (in all honesty, I trust our writer, I just don't want to have my mind set on an ending yet UNTIL weds episode, thats all) :)

    ^ I love his secret looks at her in this episode :x

    but overall the way he has been looking at her through the whole series makes me faint...*sigh*


    one of my many wishes is for OY to see for herself who's been by her side the whole time. I want her to be able to make eye contact with him, see his smile/happiness when he's with her and overall how lucky she is to have such a handsome, tall man who loves her.

    Her reason to live is him and his reason to live is her :x
