It has been a long time since I posted here, but I am still watching. The kids are all growing up so well. Seo Jun and Seo Eon are still cheeky. Seung Jae is so smart and so polite. It'll be exciting for William to get a cute little sibling. And SeolSuDae are still my favorites. They are such lovely siblings, and DaeBak, I mean, Si An isn't a baby any more:

Holy smokes, I can't believe they let 3 1/2 year old kids go parasailing, even if it was with a professional (also -- wow, no harnesses for the employees who went with the girls!). Seola and Sua were so brave and calm. I could see how proud of them Dong Gook was. I wonder what his wife thought about it, though! Also, it was very cute that Daebak kept saying, "I'm strong/brave, too!" And when he squatted down and said, "I'm jealous," it was SO adorable.
It was so nice to see Hwi Jae go back and visit that family again. It just seems kind, and it's nice that neither he nor the show forgot about them.

I don't follow Lee Hwi Jae, Seo Jun and Seo Eon's segments as closely anymore. Not because I think they don't have charm or charisma - Seo Eon is often endearing as a pretty good son and Seo Jun has a funny, mischevious personality. But they've been on the show so long, and I do find Dong Gook's family and the triple parenting zone a lot more entertaining. I'm willing to cut Hwi Jae some slack on the boys running on stage at the awards because he wasn't sitting with them, and who knows if the other adults around were encouraging it or not (maybe thinking it would be cute or funny for the boys to go to their dad at that moment).
Speaking of the three dads, their segment this week felt an awful lot like a goodbye. I know the PDs haven't announced anything, but I wonder who is going to lose the most airtime when they add the new dad.
I'm not familiar with the new Superman at all, but his son is very, very cute. Saying he's very social is an understatement. That little boy is a great talker.

I can't believe how much Daebak has grown:
He's not a chubby little baby anymore.
I think the family went to Japan for the FIFA team tournament game and an EXO concert, but maybe not the Beagle Sisters. I haven't seen them in any of their mothers pictures.- 5

Congratulations to Lee Dong Gook and the rest of the Jeonbuk Motors team. They won the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Championship this past weekend.
And his kids are so stinking cute.Sua has been been showing how smart and curious she is lately. Here she was asking about where Daebak was when their mom was pregnant with her and Seola. Last week she came up with three solutions to the broken mannequin (all of them hide with dad, hide the broken doll and out Daebak in its place, and finally confessing and apologizing to the owner). The previous episode I think it was Sua's idea to ask the Grandpa to help them pick the persimmons.
Seola always shows what a big heart she has. You could see how moved Dong Gook was when she cried out of worry and apologized to the museum owner for her dad breaking the doll. And this week she proved she IS a natural actress with her performance as the mountain spirit, lol. Seola and Sua were also so sweet celebrating Daebak's birthday, assuring him he could stay with them, that they loved him, and supporting each other when they were scared of the fire. My favorites.
Aww, the three friends are going to have a little sibling! YDG is following in LDG's footsteps in making a big family. I think this is the first time one of the show's Moms gotten pregnant after starting the show. It will be interesting to see how it affects the joint parenting zone.
I'll miss Sarang again when she's done. She's growing up well and looks like a combination of her mom and SungHoon's mom. She would make a great older sister. It was also good to see Yuto again. They're very cute together and he's gotten so handsome.

why does lee dong gook try to force daebak to drink soju when the latter clearly said no. to me it's bullying that he tries to make him taste it more. no wonder south korea seems to be a country of drunk people parents encourage drinking. look at their dramas, there is always an obligatory scene of drunk women being piggybacked by the boyfriend. when she becomes dead drunk.
as for the guesting of sarang, nice to note she is now taller and more grownup.she should concentrate on her studies and more normal childhood. what about jion of uhm tae woong, how is she doing? is she now in school
That clearly was not soju, because soju doesn't have bubbles and I've never seen soju in that kind of plastic bottle. And Superman definitely wouldn't show a parent feeding a toddler alcohol. The subtitles said it was soda, but it seemed clear to me even without the subs.
Apparently, Daebak was seriously ill a few weeks ago, so sick he had to stay the hospital for two weeks. That must have been so scary for his family. I glad he has recovered well. And now his parents are doing charity fundraising to help kids in need:

I'm hoping I'm wrong but my gut tells me this is a signal for another goodbye. The past few episodes were a bit worrying for me as it seems like Lee Donggook is just really busy and has not been part of much of the filming with the kids. He'd be there at the beginning or he'd be watching and reacting to videos as they are shown to him. Everyone please tell me I'm wrong and tell me my favourite family won't be leaving!
I hadnt even thought of the possibility yet! They are my favorite family, too -- with so many kids, there are many different personalities, but you see how much they take care of each other. The little ones are boisterous and energetic, but also really sweet, funny and bright. As busy as LDG is, I didn't get the sense they were ready to leave. A few episodes ago he said he made a good decision to join the show, and the PDs seem to be very accommodating of his schedule, arranging for different people to step in when he's not available. (It's probably easier to make the accommodation for them because LDG's kids easily become comfortable with new people, and the Beagle Sisters and Daebak seem popular) So, I am hopeful they'll stay on the show a little longer.
Also, Lee Soojin (daebak's mom) posted that they have created a family calendar. I want one.

After watching the most recent episode, I wonder how Lee Dong Gook's siblings feel about their parents displaying his pictures and memorabilia everywhere. Were his two siblings shown in one picture? If so, JaeSi looks just like LDG's brother.
LDG's kids each have some of his features. I think Seola has most of his features, but a different face shape. Sua has her mother's eyes, but LDG's mouth and skin tone. Daebak looks halfway between Sua and Seola.

I think it's clear that I am very entertained by Dong Gok's kids, but I swear they just seem to get cuter and cuter to me. The sibling relationship between all five seems very good, especially in last week's episode. but the Beagle Sisters and Daekbak are so adorable. Like when they went on that errand and Daebak was calling for his noonas, asking to hold their hands and asking Sua for a hug.
And this:

I know we were missing the SoDa siblings and the YGG families, but this past episode in Jeonju felt like the Jeju family trips from the early series. It's nice having multiple dads and kids together and in the same house.
Sua is such a sweet child. I identify with her a little bit: I'm not as afraid of everything as she is, but tend to be cautious, and my family describes me as "tender hearted" because I get emotional easily. Her attachment to the talking bunny was so touching, like her attachment to beagle puppies Watermelon and Strawberry. (I agree with something SuJin Eomma posted on Instagram: Sua and Seola have different smiles, different personalities, but the same heart.) Seola and especially Seojun were also cute in the bunny scenario.
The Sua, Seola, Seojun and Seoeon were fun to watch on their errand. Seola kept everyone on task to make sure they arrived before the food stalls closed and Seojun remembered they needed fruit AND eight croquettes. Really good for a group of three-year olds!

Seola was so cute in this episode. I loved her face as she was sneaking away from the tennis match. She is proving to be a really good big sister. She ran back to Daebak when he was too scared to come down the big step, she took great care of him at the soccer field, and she seemed so impressed when he knew the English word for dog. She also comforted Sua on the glass platform. Seola sometimes makes trouble, but she is clever and has a big heart.

I don't have kids, so I don't think I can say what LDG needs to do or not do. (I was raised stricter, and my instinct while watching was that I might have made them hold their arms up a little longer. But I have almost no experience disiplining kids that age.) I hope LDG and his wife continue whatever they did with the older twins, because Jae Si and Jae Ah seem really great. Bright, responsible and loving. It's always so nice to see all five kids together for more than just a couple of minutes. You really see how sweetly they all get along. Jae Ah comforting her crying sisters after the noise from the puffed rice was really cute. As was Daebak feeding Jae Si a little japchae.

Oh my gosh, that choreographed dad/baby dance is hilarious. The three dads have developed a really funny relationship!
Daebak is too cute. But my favorite moment was how happy Seola was when Daebak chose her. Her smile was so wide and heartwarming. She's so cute lately and it's lovely seeing how much she really loves her brother and wants him to love her back.

When I saw the clip with Sua's knowing smile or smirk at Daebak's fake crying, it seemed like an unusually mature emotional response for a child that's not quite three years old. She didn't laugh out loud or yell something out right away, but just seemed for find it amusing to herself for a few seconds. I tend to think of kids that age that as having more "obvious" responses, if that makes sense? I'm not quite sure how to describe it.
I recently watched Pride and Prejudice (I've also recently seen Pride, Prejudice and Zombies, lol) and Sua and Seola remind me of Jane and Elizabeth Bennett a little bit. Jane is pretty, sweet and kind-natured. Elizabeth is clever, independent and firey. The sisters love and complement each other. The dynamics reminded me of the Beagle sisters.

I think the three-headed dads are pretty funny. The poor maknae keeps losing their mealtime bets.
Hwi Jae is basically the perfect TROS fun uncle for all the kids on the show, but he seemed extra loving to Daebak, didn't he? That sweet little boy seems to have that effect on people. These two families are fun together. Seo Jun and Seola make a very dangerous team, lol. I am also looking forward to more of the jimjjilbang scenes for Dong Gook's family. I love it when any family goes to the sauna. It was so cute when Daebak pulled his dad off of the spiky massage mat with him -- he's looking out for his dad, too. And Seola and Sua did really well on their errands, except that Seola came back with a case of juice. She's definitely really strong for her size.

I totally forgot about Sua's mokbang/eating show. She really impressed everyone, lol.

I was cute seeing the boy and girl twins reunited. My favorite part was when Seola got confused so she stopped and asked which one of them was Seo Eon so she could take his hand. And Hwi Jae is still a Child Whisperer. It's amazing how good he is with literally every kid. And wow to Donggook for eating that Wasabi bun.
Haha, once again, Sua and Seola have completely different styles. Seola won over the Lee boys with yogurt drinks, while Sua tried with makeup. And when Soela got the make up, she made herself look like a monster/ugly.
I I know there are people on Instagram that think she is a "bully," but I think she just doesn't realize how rough she is. But she's always ready to take the lead in protecting Daebak. A couple of weeks ago we saw it with the stranger ajusshi, and this week she was the first one to run to Daebak after he fell.
The sisters both love him, of course. If a girl breaks Daebak's heart in the future, I think both of them would comfort him, but Seola would then go off and tell the girl a thing or two.
The three dads and baby girls are still endearing. Joy is the first one to crawl, so she's got a big advantage on the others.
Da Eul was adorable at the car wash, especially when he was worried about how dangerous it was to wash the roof of the car.

Daebak was so expressive this week! This was the most we've seen him calling out for his dad as "Appa!" Then looking for the socks for his dad. So cute. And it was also adorable to see him so excited about the fountains.

I enjoyed the Three Dad's segments this week. The earliest episodes for any family are good, because the dads get to see all that their wives do for the family that they had no idea about. And I feel like we haven't seen overnight footage on his show in so long. It's also interesting to see the dynamics between the three men. It looks like next week they start to get on each others' nerves, so I hope that part is not too uncomfortable to watch.
Lee Bum Soo's outing was also nice. I'm glad they did that bit about the litter.
Seola was so tough when she was protecting Daebakie from the second ajusshi! Lol, she still took the candy, but she wasn't going to let him take Daebak. The siblings are wearing traditional clothes next week so we can look forward to an etiquette class?
Also, more fan-taken photos from this weekend. Daddy-Daebak time? Maybe a shopping trip for the men, haha.

It's easy to forget that Ji On is a couple of months younger than the Hwi Jae's twins since she's so tall. And it's so cute that Tae Woong and his wife are still having play dates with other cast members.
The new babies are cute. It'll be interesting to see what the PDs will have the dads and daughters doing when they film.

I could really see a difference in Sian this episode - his Appa got to focus 95% on him, and I could tell how much Sian enjoyed it. He was smiling so much at the jjimjilbang. I think Sian is lucky to grow up in a family with all those noonas that love him so much, but it is important for him to get that one-on-one time with Dad, too.
I can't wait to see the kids all together at the traditional school. Especially Sian and Seungjae. They are the same age, and we rarely get to see either of them with friends. Sian because he has sisters, and Seungjae because he's an only child and for a long time had a hard time because he was so advanced for his age. But the previews make it look like they are getting a long quite well. So cute.
