What I'm really wondering is if he earns 100+ K a year, why the heck is he still living in a cramped bedroom? Wouldn't you want to buy a lovely new wardrobe to store all the clothes that you're addicted to buying?
If he doesn't want to live alone, he can buy a new place to live his family but shoes stored in a garage? A shopoholic wouldn't do that but somebody with a serious mental condition such as omniomania would.
Might like to discuss his addiction with his family, or better yet - a doctor. -
I use pencil, crayon and liquid eyeliners and my most favourite product definitely has to be SANA's Super Quick Liquid Eyeliner.
Very pigmented, lasts long and has a ball inside it so the liquid eyeliner does dry out or clump up! -

KISS - KEEP IT SIMPLE, STUPID!
This format looks GREAT but the navigation is all over the place.... Lots of space in between posts, etc which makes everything looks less crowded but I think the old and simple navigation tools have become to "21st Century" for this old hag...

He's a hermit; he's got nothing to do all day so that's what he'll do, sit there and type away to kill time and perhaps ignore the fact that his stomach is eating him alive.
Or either that he just misread soompi.com for SOS.com and so he's typing his day away, hoping that someone will notice him.

Why don't he just make the song available for download himself as well as put it up for purchase?
Letting people download it himself should make him feel better seeing it's his decision and they're not doing it illegally if he's giving them permission to do so.
That, plus if they really liked the song after listening to it then they could purchase it to support him.
Or either that, he should set up some gimmick so people can listen to 30 secs worth of it and then purchase it.
I know I wouldn't want to waste MBs and time, let alone CASH to download/purchase some crap-tacular song!

How about encouraging him to improve his habits, rather than quitting entirely.
Reducing the amount/frequency of drug/alcohol that he uses to any level that is below his current usage is a big enough improvement that deserves to be acknowledged for.
