Starting May, they will hold a nationwide tour where they are expected to perform for a total 160,000 fans.

OH MY GOD. Korean VIPs are so lucky. If I was in Korea I would end up just following them on tour and attending all their performances! I'm hoping it's towards the end of May though. I want them to promote for about 2 months! To be honest though, the promotional run of an album in korea lasts very long nowadays with new songs coming out all over the place and the songs themselves being "forgettable" in the scene after a while.

I'm so glad that they're holding a national tour because they'll be able to get into touch with their korean fans once again.

holycrap! Have you all seen this?

Someone on diplo's blog page recommended people to see this and I checked it out and oh my god, TOP's beatbox was amazing back then but it's absolutely crazy now. I didn't know he kept at it. He's obviously learnt new tricks.Seriously, I was really stunned. I could listen to him beatbox all day!

The comments on Maddecent were so positive it really made me smile. None of that teenybopper comments you get on kpop gossip sites--gossip sites in general--they were really nice.

    hhahahaha.

“I’m going to make the listeners become anxious because they want to see more of Seungri as a solo singer. Then don’t you think I’ll be able to do activities as Big Bang and also as a solo singer at the same time?”

That is so like what Seung Ri would have to say. He's right now. Just thinking about the fact that he has only a month makes me miss him already. I can't wait until his next project.

When the album was first released I was absolutely stunned, but more so than that, overwhelmed. I couldn't listen to the songs properly and in the back of my mind I was expecting myself to start forgetting about these songs, or realising that they aren't as good as I initially thought the well. Fangirl fever can only last so long.

...yet I found that I still enjoyed the songs. No lie. I love What can I do but I personally don't like VVIP as a song as much as the others but I understand that it's a good title song. The performance was a fun one and the music video is my favourite out of the two. I appreciate the outro (my favourite) but there is also something to magic, white love and Open the window that I can continue jamming to. I Know is a good song, but tbh it's forgettable.

The performances probably sealed the deal for me. Big Bang are artists, but they also shine as performers. I loved the performances.alskdfjlsdf.

The Music Videos were like dessert.

  5.

HGAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! LOL @ VVIP music video. Seirously. It was so entertaining and it really makes the song more appealing to me. Love Seung Ri's sweet smiles and the big bang impersonation part HAHAHAHA.

I think YG is overwhelming with all these goods. I didn't get enough time to appreciate GDTOP's album and their music videos when Seung Ri came into the picture and now I can't even appreciate Seung Ri's goods either because there's so much to spaz about!

  6.

Honestly, even if they getting paid a lot, YG is no cheap skate. Just look at how he let the 2ne1 girls go wild buying new furniture. He updated their accomodation. All the clothes that GD and TOP buy are crazy expensive. One item is the equivalent of my entire wardrobe!

I think YG as a company does understand how to make a group work in the long run. He trains them for years and gives them the opportunity to continue growing. Seung Ri's mini-album is testament to this, seriously. The idea of allowing solo experiences and project groups also prevents groups from breaking apart in want of solo fame. They get that, as well as the love from being Big Bang.

The only problem I have with YG is that he can overwork the artists and to be honest, his time-management sucks shiit. He can randomly give them two month holidays but when they come back, they work until they become skins and bones! GD being sick proves this.

  7.

I'm definitely impressed. There is so much potential in Seung Ri I was just waiting for YG to give him an opportunity like this. There is no way in hell I could ever say I was disappointed with this album. To be honest, I expected more pop-ish songs from him but he delivered songs that are more mature than the typical idol. To know that he took a significant part in the production of this album only convinces me even more that Seung Ri really is a force to be reckoned with.

    Let's break it down.

VVIP - To be honest, this isn't my favourite song from the album. I enjoy the chorus most of all and I have to admit the song is really catchy but I think it just really surprised me. I can already tell that Seung Ri is going to have so much fun dancing/performing to this song. It's an upbeat song that promises and upbeat and fun choreo. I'm listening to it as I type this and seriously, the refrain is damn catchy--my favourite part of the song.

어쩌라고 - Smart move making this the title song. LOVE IT TO BITS. The teaser did not do this song justice. When he performs this, it's really going to show his vocal talent that has improved so much over the years. Love this song. Love it Love it Love it.

창문을 열어 (feat.G-DRAGON) - I definitely didn't expect a song like this from Seung Ri. I'm pleasantly surprised. It's an awesome track. It may not serve well as a title track because of the current climate and taste of the kpop industry but it's a damn high quality track from GD. They really do match, our Tom and Jerry. It's somewhat mellow so I can jsut listen to it and bob my head while jamming to the song. It's like GDTOP's baby goodnight, yaknowhaimean?

Magic: I'm not sure because I love pretty much all the songs but I have to say this tops the list. This and his title song. Seriously. I'm so turned on by Seung Ri's english. Seriously. Choice 37 is sooooo good. I'm looking forward to more of his works!

I Know (ft IU): Their voices are really sweet together. YG was correct in his statement about this song: together they have created a really sweet mood to the song. I can't wait to read the translations for the lyrics to this song. This is a song that I can put on repeat for days because it's just that easy to listen to. What's with the days of the week?

White Love: AHHHHHHH. I REALLY LIKE THIS SONG TOO. A poppy song! I think of icecream, lollipops, rainbows and hot guys when I hear this song. LOL

Outro: Our boy can definitely sing. The simple interlacing of Seung Ri's vocals to the melody of a piano is just beautiful. The only downside is that it's far too short. I could listen to this forever. Man, how great would it be if he played the piano while performing this song?

Okay, to be honest I'm a little too overwhelmed by the album to properly review it. All i know is that I'm impressed, it was beyond my expectations and I'm so thankful that Seung Ri was given this opportunity. So so so glad. So so excited. Along with GDTOP's album, Seung Ri is proving to me that Big Bang's comeback is going to be epic. The quality of their songs is just mind-fing-blowing.

  8. That letter from Dae Han's father made me cry. You can really feel how much he loves his son and how grateful he is that GD came to talk to Dae Han. It's a good thing that Dae Han was more active. I do believe that the doctor is right in saying that Dae Han can hear everything. Soon enough he will get better. I'm looking forward to that special stage with g-dragon.

  9.

As expected. I was waiting to see an article about the chaos that went down with the ticket sales. It's not that I think arrogantly think Big Bang is the best Idol Group or whatever, but from their history with ticket sales--it was only expected. I think there's even more hype this time round beacuse of the new songs and their long hiatus leading up to it. It's going to be amazing.

The best thing about the album date is that YG cannot possible delay it because then the concert is out the following day. ldfjsdlkfj. Can't wait!

  10.

I'm so touched that MinJi (our resident sweet, humble, loving girl) tweeted pictures of the fan's gifts. It really tells us that she appreciates all the gifts, loves the gifts, is touched by our love and that she loves us. Really. She is so sweet!

I miss 2ne1. I'm so glad that they're on vacation after their crazy album promotions but I can't help but be greedy and want more of them. LOL

I keep watching Dara on Win Win because I find Park Tae Hwan's crush so adorable. They seriously look good together.

  11.

^ That's definitely not the case. At least, I don't think so. In the little time since they have debuted, 2NE1 has experienced immense success. They have been given a lot of opportunities too.

It's just a little quiet around here because the girls are on vacation (are they still on vacation?) It's about to get busy here :D

  12.

The autotune criticism is seriously overused. I actually thing certain songs work better with the autotune. When it is overused to the point where you can't even hear the actual singer's voice is a different case.

I'm looking forward to songs like baby goodnight, oh mom, of all days, obsession, knock out, don't go home and GD's funky loving 어쩌란 말이냐?

On another note, I LOVE TOP ON VARIETY TALK SHOWS AND I HOPE BIG BANG WILL APPEAR ON MORE SHOWS WHEN THEY COME BACK.

  13.

That is such great news! To be honest, I was going to be happy with any date as long as it was before the Big Show concert. Having them perform their new songs at their concert in front of thousands for the time time is also something very symbolically significant. I'm tired of the typical promotions on shows like music bank--god knows they're rigged and tainted by the industry's politics.

All I'm trying to say is: WOO HOO! SO EXCITINGGGG!

  14.

I really have no words to describe their performances at Chocolate. I'll try though.

Haru Haru: They did well considering they're both rappers. I actually really like hearing GD sing and seriously--you can never get tired of the song. They were both so into it I was expecting them to break out into tears. It was so weird hearing TOP say: "Yo, my girl..." cause I'm so used to hearing GD sing it. I love how they would break out into intense rap and start throwing their hands in the air. You can't deny that they love their music. Why wouldn't they? Haru haru is a damn classic now. Everyone knows it. Oh, and I absolutely the nanana part, especially TOP's nanana! omgnananana!

Baby Goodnight: MY ABSOLUTE FAVOURITE PERFORMANCE OF THE NIGHT. It sounds even better than the CD version. Seriously in love right now (not that I wasn't before but WOW, just WOOOOWW!) They just sat there and sang/rap and I felt them draw me in as though they were physically circling me. That was how captivating the entire thing was. God, I was hooked from the very beginning. I love GD's nasally singing voice. They were jamming while seated so much they just had to jump up, haha. I loveeeedd it when TOP sang. He actually has a good voice--I don't think he can maintain it well enough to sing an entire song but when he sings little parts like this, his voice really is god damn amazing.

Obsession: I died everytime GD glanced at the camera. When he doesn't, it's like he knows everybody's attention is on him and his amazing performance. Vocally, it was much better than his solo stage a couple of days. It was spot on. You know he performed well when you can feel the chills running through your body--it was a haunting performance.

(LOL, GD took away his microphone stand when TOP also needed one. They have their own ones--I just find that cute, haha)

Oh Mom: TOP's movements when he sings, LOL. He's like jerking but it's so fitting for the song. I think he did really well. I don't know what people think about the autotune but in Oh Mom, I think it really does give that something extra to the song in a positive way. I loved it (I think I'm using the word Love too much but I really do love it!) You can seriously feel the emotion in the way he performed the song. Maybe his acting has helped but he looked broken on stage. When he lay down and sang, I wanted to cry because I was so overwhelmed by the apparent misery and agony he was in.

asldfjalsjdfk. Loved the chocolate perfomance and it was definitely worth the wait, and it most definitely satisfied my expectations--even exceeded them.

edit: I just skimmed through the talk. HAHA @ TOP calling GD Dong Saeng. That was so so so cute!

  15.

    I was disappointed that GD and TOP didn't win a multizen. I knew not to expect it but it was still disappointing. I know this was only a project album and the primary intention was to show diversity and showcase the songs but these awards are a form of encouragement and I wish they'd win. D;

I wonder how many titles Big Bang will have when they promote together. It better not be more than three.

thank you shindelpol .You can always trust her to post us goods. :D

  16.

LOOOL! AT NIGHT AFTER NIGHT. I feel so desperate waiting for the subs--it's almost like I'm waiting for their album to come out. TOP really should go on more talk shows HE IS DOWNRIGHT HILARIOUS!

Loving the interaction between Daesung TOP and GD! Daesung seems so afraid of his hyungs. TOP keeps saying that he is an innocent man, a pure man HAHAHAHAH. I'm sure that's true but as Jae dong said: "saying that about yourself is unusual!" GD just can't stop laughing. I love his smile and his laugh--he seriously is so bright!

There's so many things to comment about but I rather jsut go and re-watch it. LOL

THANK YOU TO THE SUBBERS. THEY ARE JUST SO SO SO AWESOME!

  17.

Ngawwwwww! It looks like her sister performed a cello version of You and I as a dedication to her. That's so sweet! That also means that Bom is in the US doesn't it? her sister resides in the US.

Bom must be having so much fun. The last vacation she had to the US lasted like 3 days. LOL

Wait, didn't the article say that Bom was in Korea?

  18. ^ Hey, there's no reason to insult/criticise another member. G-Dragon's plagiarism issues have absolutely nothing to do with Tae Yang.

My poor baby is suffering the consequences of immense fame. Everybody watches him like a hawk--of course he'll feel pressure and eventually succumb to depression. I'm so glad that he has emerged from that a stronger a more determined person as he shows in the more recent interviews. The haters will see in the end that G-Dragon is one of the leading stars of kpop, a true artist, and a person who truly loves music.

  19. I see where you're coming from but just because he didn't write the songs doesn't mean he didn't have any input whatsoever. Not everybody can produce music, regardless of how great of a musician you may be. Besides, I'm sure Taeyang and Teddy spent heaps of time together on the music. I recall him saying he and Teddy jumped around when they completed "Break down". Note that Teddy typically produces pop/electronic songs; Taeyang is comfortable and loves to sing RNB songs and so it's clear that he had his input as well.

I don't think anyone calls Taeyang the genius either, and I'm pretty sure GD is the one who is called the genius (and deserves it although he denies it. so humble!) GD is one of the more popular members of the group I think.

In a recent episode of YG-TV, Tae yang is also shown writing an rnb/ballad for the Big Bang comeback. Whether or not that is approved by YG i don't know but he's trying. He's a beginner in the world of producing/composing music so one cannot expect him to jump straight into producing his own music.

    just my 2 cents.
