Still busy shooting for the Disney+ drama~ Soobin spotted today. Curious about this project because they have been filming for almost 5 months, her hair looks longer (?) now to me.
AAAHH, so cute and lovely, and I really loved the red vest that she wore at the beginning~ wished she wore that longer. Anyway, Soobin is definitely more shy than you'd think she is so it's always a treat to see her come out on a variety show which is rare, I think.

I am so in love with her voice. People comment that she has such a soothing voice and I agree! I really just think she has the prettiest speaking voice in K-ent and it's great that she is able to use it to her advantage, too, 'cause she gets constantly praised for her voice acting (vocalization/pronunciation).
SpoilerIt's so sweet that she kept gifts from fans through the years (she also had a bouquet of flowers, that she received from a fan during Grandpa Henri and Me, preserved). One of the gifts is an art piece called "Spear of the Soul" and the artist commented on her vlog and wished her happiness always:)
Also, in case anybody's wondering, she named her pets Haku (cat) and Mata (dog) after "Hakuna Matata" ("No worries" from the LION KING). And well, Mushu's, the beloved dog that passed away, name is from MULAN. Hey there, Disney princess lol ;p

Haven't watched the first episode of 'The House On Wheels' spin-off with Soobin and the rest of the PIRATES 2 cast yet but I guess she appeared toward the end. Tune in on September 20 and 27 at 9PM KST to see more of them:)

Soobin is literally the cutest and the coolest. And her goofy side is apparent in this vlog ;p When she was singing in that traditional kinda way while she was looking for her tools like? So cute!! Also, she's probably not aware of how funny she is, lol.

My favorite part of the MAG & JINA interview:
Chae Soo Bin: "My dream is to be an actor with various colors. If the character I have shown so far had a bright and confident image, I want to play a more intense role."
I always hope that she gets better roles and projects because she has so much to offer as an actor.

According to news today, PIRATES 2 was supposed to be Lotte's Chuseok offering but another film will be released instead. I don't know if October is still a possibilty.

. Really makes me think that she is so busy. I hope that filming for her upcoming drama will be over soon so she can rest before doing promo activities for her projects and, more importantly, I hope that she remains safe and healthy throughout.
Which brings me to these updates on:
Disney+ Drama ~ I honestly don't know what to call this one so I shall just refer to it as that, lol. This project is shrouded in so much secrecy but at least there are a few things known so far
- Disney+ will finally be launched in Korea in mid-November
- It is expected to be the first Korean original drama to be shown on Disney+
- So we will most likely see her drama comeback in November (!!)

I love how she did this photo shoot with a purpose, too, and it's to spread awareness to a cause that's close to her heart. Soobin not only loves animals but she is also an advocate for them. She does volunteer work for neglected dogs. Mata is an abandoned dog that she adopted and her cat is adopted, too.

So glad that Soobin has a youtube channel so fans can see more of her. Every time I watch a video I think of how unique this actress really is and different from other celebs... Also, reading the comments is fun. Most fans write things like it makes them smile when they see her smile or just watching her makes them feel healed, which I can relate with. And then there are also comments from her fanboys like, "Will nuna get married one day, too? I'm so sad" :DD

AKP STAFFAccording to insider reports on August 11, the lead cast of the upcoming blockbuster action film 'Pirates 2' recently wrapped up a special getaway of their own!The 8 lead cast members of 'Pirates 2' including Kang Ha Neul, Han Hyo Joo, Lee Kwang Soo, Kwon Sang Woo, Chae Soo Bin, EXO's Sehun, Kim Sung Oh, and Park Ji Hwan have come together for a special version of tvN's healing variety program, 'House On Wheels' season 3.
Originally hosted by actors Sung Dong Il and Kim Hee Won, tvN's 'House On Wheels' follows a comforting getaway on board a unique moving home. In past seasons, actors Yeo Jin Goo and Siwan have acted as the two lead cast members' trusty aids.
Now, ahead of the premiere of 'House On Wheels' season 3 later this fall, it seems that viewers will be able to catch a rather special version of the travel variety featuring the cast of 'Pirates 2'! Reports say that for this special episode, the 'Pirates 2' cast members were asked to plan out their trip on their own rather than having Sung Dong Il and Kim Hee Won as their hosts.

Soobin's back on the movie star ranking top 50 on Naver (at #44). It's been 2 months since SWEET & SOUR's premiere, I guess S Koreans are still watching it. The film has a current rating of 8 out of 10 stars by netizens on the site. Just glad that people at home seem to like or have enjoyed it. It's just a shame that her movie was not promoted well IMO.

Also, thank you to PIRATES 2's assistant director for posting on his Instagram account photos of her doing the post-prod recording. In the caption of one of his posts, he called her "lovely Soobin" (plus the comments of people from the industry under the post^^). I cannot help thinking that the word LOVELY is really synonymous with SOOBIN, lol <3

Happy birthday to Gong Yoo! Really liked him in 'Train To Busan' and 'Coffee Prince'. I don't even like zombie movies but TTB was good and I watched CP a few years ago and thought it's one of the best romcoms made and had great OST. I think SK has some of the best indie bands/songs.

Happy birthday to my fave (it's still her bday in my time zone)!! I wish her happiness and all the great things in life. She really is her name "Sparkle" and "Light" (Lucia: her baptismal name) cause of what she brings to many ~ happiness, inspiration, positivity. I'll be here for as long as I can to watch her shine (and keeping this thread alive lol) and I'm excited for what's ahead <3

Not really all-out drama but I like it when I get something more meaningful out of the show that I watch. I guess the same applies to romcoms, like in the case of INAR. Also, it's easier for me to drop a romcom if the humor isn't my cup of tea or if I don't like the comedic acting.
I love Chae Soobin. I'm not the type to do this but she's the only one in k-ent that I want to actively support. She's this charming and very talented actor but still underrated. I first saw her as the villainess in 'Sassy Go Go'. She was a rookie then but I was blown away by how damn good she was. Not saying that the rest of the cast was bad or anything but her acting there just felt like it's on another level; I only cared about her character arc. And then I fell in love with her comedic chops in INAR. She's a great actress who can do anything and make each role different from the others, too. Her major role before filming Sweet & Sour was in 'Where Stars Land" and Han Yeoreum is so different from Jung Daeun.
Also, she's really the loveliest person. I like supporting someone who brings good vibes all the time

Please do watch 'I'm Not A Robot" ! Now that is a true romcom, lol. It's really feel-good and Soobin essentially played 3 roles in it. I have to say your friend has good taste 'cause she adores Soobin and really liked INAR
I know a few people that liked 'My Mister' and I'm aware that it's a good drama and I keep seeing it on Netflix, but I haven't gotten around to watching it... maybe it's time to put it on my to-watch list, too.

It's a really gorgeous film and I loved the shots of mundane city life. The camerawork added to the realism, too; the scene above and that one when they were arguing in the apartment are memorable to me. I even liked the sort of 80s-inspired music. It feels like I can go on and on about why I loved it.

I would have loved to see a story of a young couple that faced challenges in their relationship and was able to overcome them, however, I am glad that the film turned out to be a not-so-standard "romcom". It's rather a dark comedy with a mature romance that's closer to reality.

It was nice to see the PIRATES 2 team's chemistry on House On Wheels which is why I was so sad that, apparently, the film's gonna be released early next year (I was expecting October). In addition to that, someone from production said that her upcoming Disney+ drama will premiere in January (no more Soobin this year T T).
But my mood quickly changed because of this, lol:
Soobin was offered the main character, Pyo Ji Eun, and according to her agency, they are still considering/ it's under discussion.

A single, independent woman, who takes charge of her own life, living in the city and working in the fashion industry? YES, PLEASE! They are about to start filming and If she decides to take this on (I hope she does!), I need her to take care of her health, cause she has a tendency to work nonstop... So happy though that there is so much to look forward to in 2022.
