Yup yup yup...have seen about AB and HXM for quite some time but no announcement so far. For ZLY case, I only got to know her way after PA. At the time she has already given birth. Tracing back about her wedding and pregnancy, I already saw this coming. In one interview when they were still together, she said that the ex was like a prince. I could only take it as too good to be true. There is no prince in this era any more lol.

Oh really? So her fans left her after they learned she got married or because she got married with certain someone? I am not a big fan of the ex so kind of relieving. Hope she finds a better person and if she decides to get married again do that for the right reason.

I feel she was really tired when she act in Legend of Fei, probably that wasn't a good time already with her ''Ex-husband''. Maybe they also fight because the rumor about Liying work like a crazy and her ''Ex-husband'' stay home and do nothing. Dunno. I like Feng Shao Feng like actor, specially in Lan Ling Wang. But for a man, I dunno, he was out with many many many actress before. He is really a good man in the real life? nevermind, that isn't our problem, just love our favorite actress and keep supporting her is OUR JOB.

 

Exemple Wu Qian husband is really protecting her like crazy. That is a good husband. Not care about his own reputation but was SOOOOO Mad when the reporter take a picture from his child and write about Wu Qian was married with him. Zhang Yujian is really good man. . 

 

I just came from the YZJ and Janice Wu page lol so feeling relate so much with this post lol. Love this couple to the max. 

 

About PA, I have a very low expectation that it will be back with the original actors. Most of them only gets bigger. Take the spoiled princess for example, now she is one of the hottest leading ladies thanks to The Untamed and Wolf something. Even Yuwen Yue's bodyguard is a leading actor in several low budget but well-known series. There is a chance to pay them all due to covid, because I heard the government slash the actors payment up to 70 percent to make the society more equal or something like that. If that's true, budget is not really an issue. The issue is ZLY was rumored to be disappointed with too much butchering. If she is not happy then all other actors will probably do not go back. I heard that LGX is currently filming series with Seven Tan. He is the one where I rely on confirming PA. If ZLY is not there, he is not there. Now he is filming something else so if his next project is still something else, I will forget PA second season for good.

After Yang Mi then Zhou Xun I started to think who's next.  So this is not so surprising after all. At least they do not create negative news by fighting over the child custody.

I just finished watching episode 60 and decided to see what happened next in the real historical story to adjust expectation. Initially I thought WYL was a fictional character like Xiao Yanzi in My Fair Princess. Since the real FH married only one woman he truly loved, while the real Wei lady became Consort Ling for good, there never existed a love relationship between them. So I know they won't ended up together even in the historical drama with many fictionalization. Even so, there was a time when I thought that she came back to the Forbidden City because she got jealous by the way FH described Chenbi, not really because of how Qianlong favored her. If there is a feeling for him, it came way later.        

 

In the series, I did not find the Emperor to be impressive, rather selfish by separating them early (but he is always portrayed as selfish when it comes to women, correct?). FH on the other hand made one mistake but too fatal. As WYL entered the palace, it is clear that the rest of the story is between the king and her so it was not really interesting anymore compared to the time when the late empress was still alive. It was even less interesting when Imperial Concubine Shun suddenly appeared out of nowhere. I feel like they need additional player so that the series could extend smoothly but it did not work well for me.

 

Since I stopped watching without reaching the last episode (at least by now), it won't be as the same level as the top rated ones in my personal view, notably My Fair Princess or for the recent one like The Legend of Yunxi. It is still really good, though, because it could made me binge watching up to 60 episodes. That's a lot.

 

On Consort Ling, she was portrayed as deeply loved by Qianlong because she climbed up to the top from the very bottom either in the drama and in the reality. She could be a real schemer :D.

 

Lastly, it was a sad ending for FH - for which I knew it from reading your comments. But he is a gentleman by heart that's why I am always with him. I am not that heartbroken actually as the real FH was doing fine although he died before getting too old. It was different compared to my bad mood after finding that the real Yongqi died in a young age. Such a great loss of talent.
