Tho they messed up some translation like the preview for DJ arriving at Quinqui. In the preview DJ was saying no one was more appropriate than him to accompany BaiQian in her wedding. In the episode DJ was thanking FJ as the princess of Quinqui for welcoming him

Haha, there are mistranslations in The Untamed too that's why I decided to try Viki for the PB, but I might just continue watching it on Tencent's Youtube to add more views.
In episode 3 Dijun said a proverb/saying after giving Feng jiu her hairpin, does anyone know what it means? or is Dijun just trolling them? haha
In youtube the translation is:
"When a nightingale strays into the milkyway who can tell how many years it has been through."
In Viki:
"Into what part of the river of stars did the night firefly mistakenly enter. Whoever says that he knows fate really knows nothing."

Regarding this version, there is a rumour that the producer (who is a fan of the novel) asked XZ and YB to hold hands at the end which is why you see them looking shy and smiling at each other at around 2:04. For the cute background music, I am guessing it might be something generic. That's why it is not included.
Haha, I love their chemistry on and off screen. The whole cast seems to have become close. I hope that they still keep in touch.
I hope they release the instrumental of this full version of Wuji. I saw some comments in that video and some people are looking for it too.
@Sun Tzu I see. I watched the mv of their song and although "The Untamed Boys" are cute they need Wang Yibo to teach them how to polish their dance, haha.

That bgm was beautiful! Yes, I will let you know when I find it. If you also find the bgm in this part of the video (33:30) please let me know as well. This is something that would be nice to listen to while sipping tea and daydreaming, lol
What do you guys think about the English subtitles? I watched the first 3 episodes both on Tencent's youtube and Viki. I chose to watch the latter episodes through Viki because I think the flow is better, but there are some sentences that sound better on Tencent's TL too. I don't know which one is more accurate.

I really like this series and I just started the book.
I really love the background instrumentals too! I can't find them yet. Maybe, Tencent haven't released them. They released the instrumental soundtrack of "The Untamed" after the drama. But some of the bgm that I liked wasn't included. Hopefully it'll be different for the Pillowbook. Please let us know if you have any news about the soundtrack. Thank you.

Guys, I think Tencent has released the instrumentals/background music. I don't know if it's okay to post the link here but you'll find it you type "Pillowbook ost instrumental" on youtube. It has 17 tracks. Unfortunately, @Yori Ten, the bgm for both the Miao Lu swordfight scene and Feng Jiu's daydreaming is not included. I was even looking forward for the bgm when Dijun saved Feng Jiu from the red beast.
Could anyone who speak/write Chinese please tell Tencent to consider releasing the other instrumentals because they're very beautiful. Kudos to the composer.
