  1. I'm enjoying this game between Tagon and Saya. Although Saya is smart he is not on Tagon's level yet.

I love the relationship between Tagon and Taealha. It's very well written and understandable. They are both messed up people that love each other in their own twisted way and more important they understand each other and know what to expect from one another. I'm glad they give us a flashback of them.

Why there is no scene between Tagon and his wife? It's so unrealistic.

We can see that Saya hates Tagon in reality because he enjoys thinking how Tagon was upset after he left the note. He wants to create chaos around Tagon so that the latter is not able to achieve his goal.

He thinks Igutus are superior than others and wants Tagon to embrace his Igutu identity and rule Arthdal as a proud Igutu king with himself as his son and heir. so for now he wants Tagon to succeed and he is helping him in his own twisted way. He wants power but he needs Tagon to achieve it, without Tagon he is nothing and he knows it but of course things could change if he becomes the crown prince.

Btw, I think the older Neanthal is Itzrub, he was present in the meeting between Sarams and Neanthals  that happened twenty years ago. We don't know where the second Neanthal kid is yet.

  3. Saya looked like a vampire with that makeup and cloak:D And the way he just walked in and out of the castle in the night with no problem was so funny.

And it's the second time he murders someone with no second thoughts or regrets. With all the scheming, cold blooded murders and manipulations he really does act like Tagon's son.

The last two episodes of part 2 should be very interesting. I think Tagon will be forced to do what Saya wants him to do which is embracing his Igutu identity and naming Saya his heir after becoming king of Arthdal.

Tagon's wife has disappeared, we saw her for less than 1 min in the previous episode and that's it.

Yeah I think it's strange that they haven't shown them together at all after the wedding. They are married now they interactions should be important.

I'm so glad that Neanthals are back. Can't wait for them to meet Saya and Eunseom. And we haven't seen the second Neanthal kid yet. Wonder where he/she is?

The political plot and the power struggle between Tagon and his allies and Asa clan is so interesting. Everything is leading up to Tagon getting rid of Asa Ron and taking over Arthdal at the end of the second part.

I think there will be another fight between YangCha and Moobaek and YangCha will finally overpower him. It seems like Eunseom will be the one who will kill Yangcha eventually.

I was actually disappointed by the behavior of the members from Wahan Tribe. Yes, he did leave them behind but he came back and that's what matters. I believe that the one who betrayed them will do far more worse with the excuse that he wanted to survive.

It was disappointing but realistic. Human nature is the same, Wahans are no exception.

Btw, when doctor said he will try to bring back Tagon's dead brother it reminded me of Tanya's curse about mothers eating their dead children and then the dead children eating their mother. I hope they don't add zombies to this story.

He calls Tagon father but more importantly, he asserts his right as Tagon's heir to the throne. I think he purposely goaded Tanya like that to snap her out of her dazed state and considering the fact that he saw her in his dreams, may have realised she could be an important person for him to have beside him. It almost mirrors the relationship Tagon and Taelha have. It's kinda ironic that tagon's heir turned out to be just as cunning as him even though they aren't related by blood and it would be befitting if Saya is the one to turn on Tagon similar to how Tagon killed his father.

Well said. Saya is a Tagon wannabe. He sees him as a great role model and wants them to rule together as father and son. He also thinks Igutus are the superior race which is problematic.

I don't think Saya is a bad character BUT, I do think that after he lost his first love, he immediately had a heel face turn similar to Tanya and decided to have ambitions of power so that he would never be that vulnerable again.

I think both Tagon and Taealha had this heel face turn when they were younger too. They were both vulnerable and abused by their powerful fathers so they decided to become more powerful than them by any means necessary.

  7. So Tanya wants power now and is gonna manipulate Saya to gain it... Interesting. If she wants to play and win she has to become ruthless and cunning like other major players so it seems like she is going to change drastically in the last two seasons.

Btw, how old is Taealha? I thought she was the same age as Tagon but in e8 she tells Saya she took him in when she was barely a few years older than him... so? It's a bit confusing.

I think like that too. Saya is a very interesting character and his presence will have a huge impact on the pact between Tagon, Taealha and Giseon, the man from the White Mountain Tribe. Saya has already created a riff between Tagon and Taealha... he will damage much more.

Yeah he is such a wild card, I like that. And it seems like he won't have a good relationship with Eunseom (at least not for the time being).

  9. I'm glad Saya is not another Naive and innocent Eunseom. He is twisted, calculating and unpredictable and this will make everything more interesting. Even if he sides with Eunseom and Tanya to take down Tagon it could very well be for his own ambitions.

And about Taealha and Tagon... Although I like them as a dangerous and intriguing pair it seems like their enmity is inevitable and soon there will be a great power struggle between these two. Can't wait! And I'm wondering whether this power struggle will eventually result in Taealha siding with Eunseom against Tagon for her own survival and benefits.

I thought it was unrealistic at first that Asa hon never told Eunseom about that either but the more i think about it i sort of understand why.. He would want revenge for his dead father, brother, tribe and i dont think she wanted her son to go through hell or dying to achieve that.

I'm not saying she should've told him everything but some important tidbits. She told him nothing not even something like "your father was a good man, he loved you and did his best to protect us." Or "You are special and there are some bad people out there after special people like you and that's why we have been hiding for ten years." I think telling him about Sarams, Neanthals and Igutus was necessary for his own safety. What if she had died earlier? He would've been left alone knowing absolutely nothing and could've stopped hiding eventually and ending up getting captured or entering the city or something like that.

  11. I think it's unrealistic that Asa Hon never told her son about his identity, his father, his twin brother, her past and why they had to hide. I mean they were together hiding for ten years, so you expect them to talk about this stuff.

And I hope they tell us more about Tagon's mother and their relationship.

Ta -Gon will fall for Tan-ya because of her honesty and love for the Ingitu. Ta-Gon love Taealha but her ambition is the one thing that stops him from being totally loyal to her.

    What do you guys think??

I don't like it tbh but I'm not a fan of love triangles in general. if it happens I hope They don't reduce Taealha into Tagon's bitter and vengeful ex-girlfriend.

It's true, on the Korean wiki page and Chinese wiki page, Tanya is listed as the crown prince's wife. And after episode 6, people just deduce all the information and come to the conclusion that the crown prince is probably Saya (Tagon's "son"/successor), and Tagon is the emperor, Taealha is the empress (as Tagon's wife) :D:D:D

What a cute family.:D But what about Eunseom? And Tagon is gonna survive? Anything about Taealha being a Neanthal? So many questions :D if  there is more info please share :)

Oh god, I'm starting to get confused, today my friend told me that she read a spoiler on Korean websites and the spoiler stated that Tanya will be married to Saya, they will legally become husband and wife. I've scrolled through Arthdal Chronicle hashtag on Weibo China hoping to get more information and they also said the same. How could she be with Eunseom at the end if she's married to his brother? I know Saya is Song Joong Ki anyway but I ship TaEun couple   :bawling::bawling::bawling:

What about Tagon, Taealha and Eunseom? Anything about them?

I swear i read about Taelha become the first empress of  Arthdal.

Oh I remember that. I thought you were talking about something else since we don't know whether that info is legit or not.

But if that info is legit then Taealha is a secret Neanthal and she will turn her back on Tagon eventually. Although the second part seems likely to happen imo, the part about Taealha being Neanthal seems kinda weird now esp with an Igutu Tagon. Hopefully we will find out soon.

Difference is i dont see Tagon surviving at the end and i got a feeling Saya dies to, your second point is what i think happened.

Yeah I think Saya is doomed too, I hope I'm wrong though. In a recent interview DongGun talked about a powerful scene with Taealha wearing black in a funeral and looking sorrowful... maybe it's Saya's funeral.

I think its a 5 person triangle.. add Taealha for Eunseom in there ;p

Taealha and Eunseom is a bit too weird because she is like a mother to his twin brother. Have they hinted at a romance between these two in a chart or an interview or something?

I dont think the 3 are meant to bring the world to the end but the Arthdal Union under Tagon which i guess is their own world.

And the fact that the pristess is working against the gods and these heavenly objects is so funny:D

Btw thanks for clarifying your point. Although I agree he is arrogant I think there is more to this character than arragonce and evilness and that's why I first responded to you and imo when a villain has fears and insecurities then he is complex and that's why I like him as a villain.

but as I said earlier to each their own. I just wanted to make my point more clear too.:)

yeah im sure he has insecurities and fears but those are not valid reasons for what hes doing and has done in the past.

They are not and the reason I brought them up in the first place was not to justify his actions but to disagree with your "He thinks hes some almighty god when hes really just arrogant and over confident" comment.

That's fine. to each their own. :)

I have no sympathy for a man who destroyed two races i dont care if hes hated or neglected by his father .. maybe its because his father saw what a disaster tagon will bring.

Are you defending Sanung and the way he treated his son? Chocking him when he was just a child and letting him believe he was evil and cursed? He is the one who made the prophecy happen.

Tagon is a villain and hopefully he will pay for his actions. But they've made it clear that he is the way he is because of his messed up upbringing and that behind his overconfident and cool facade he has insecurities and fears and that's what I was trying to say in my first reply.

I don't think that's completely true. He is intelligent and a great warrior and he knows it but he is also insecure about his identity as an Igutu in Saram society and a cursed bastard child hated and neglected by his father his whole life. He has learned how to act cool and confident around others but he is different when he is alone or with Taealha. So he is confident in his abilities but he is hiding some deep insecurities and I think that's what makes him a complex and compelling villain

  20. From an illegitimate son to a hero to God's messenger to God himself:D

It seems like they've been planning to take over Arthdal since they were teenagers. Well done!  I hope they give us a flashback of young Tagon and Taealha.

Tagon keeping his identity a secret for so long doesn't seem realistic esp considering he is a warrior. I'm so curious about his mother and how and why he killed her. And Sanung and a Neanthal? Weird.

Maybe if Sanung wasn't so obsessed with the prophecy and so cold to his son Tagon wouldn't have turned out like this. Both Sanung and Mihol were abusive to their motherless children and now they are paying for it. One of them is dead and the other seems to follow sooner or later.

    And Wahan tribe...:tears:

Sorry but Taealha girl is a two timer and annoying character to me. Don't see her as a great assest or smart manipulative person. Just my thought.

She is a great asset because she is the the heir to the Hea tribe and Tagon needs them if he wants to be king. and one has to be smart to manipulate someone like Sanung and lead him into a trap so easily.

This reader hopes he picks taealha instead of the child tanya…. since the former is a great asset who can assist him with his dream, while the latter would not.

Me too. Although I love the story and characters I'm worried about the love triangle. Tagon and Taealha have a good chemistry and an interesting history and dynamic so there is no need to drag Tanya between them. But even if it happens I hope they do it smartly and don't turn Tagon into a lovesick teenager and Taealha into a jealous and bitter ex-girlfriend. And if there is gonna be a Tagon/Tanya romance then I want a romance between Taealha and a hot guy as well preferably Itzrub because why not??:D I don't want my girl to be left alone.

why would Tae Al ha be the queen??? I believe nowhere it says so

I think Silveer is talking about the initial descriptions of the characters that were released a year ago. You can read it in the first post.

Eun Som is a cursed child born in Blue Stone Village under an ominous sign. He later becomes the conqueror of Asadal, capital of Gojoseon, taking it from city-state to empire...

Tae Ha is the last surviving Neoantal , a race different from humans, as well as the first Empress of Asadal.

We don't know yet whether it is legit or not.

That's brilliant! So he is a prophet now.  I can't wait to know what he has in mind for Eunseom's brother.

I haven't seen the preview for the next episode but I think it's a perfect opportunity for Tagon to kill his father and put the blame on Eunseom.
