This drama characters, main ones are so different from what they lead us to believe. I'm not sure if they changed because they wanted to please the audience or something but the story and suspense was more interesting when they were at odds with each other.
But they made Ji Won and Hyunso literally flawless and perfect.
Ji won , though suspicious and angry, still supports and defends Hyunso and protects him.
She doesn't even mind that he lied to her and faked his whole identity. I thought fans would hate her but of course they don't,given how supports him and protects him, how could they? She is basically all they want in a female lead, especially since she into him just as much.
but she suddenly gets suspicious after all charges are cleared? I get that she had doubts but it looks like she suspects because the plot wants her to. She knows he was framed before and that he has enemies.
Do Hyunso's characterisation is all over the place. At first he kidnaps and holds a guy hostage.
Seems to be haunted by his dad and seems to have a troubled past.
But he's just a victim that happens to be good person? Someone who can't recognise his own feelings. Who never committed a murder but has impulses and experience in holding people hostage?
He is anti social but also nice?
I feel like all the suspense has been sucked out of the drama since secrets were revealed and they just accepted each other. It was sweet but can I get a conversation or argument?
Dad's ghost haunts whenever the plot wants him to.
Plot holes and inconsistent characterisation
Do Hae soo is also all over the place?
She is nice and kind but she is capable of murder?
She doesn't have guilt for murder? I think we need more insight on village foreman's murder
But she still needs moojin's protection after being quick to murder
Hee Sung is just psycho from day one? Was in a coma but can walk and get to hae Soo's place?
Is in contact with seong cheol?
All the villainy is just left to villains?
It would been best if they didn't sanitise and victimise their leads so much and let them have their grey sides and made it about how they confront and reach a middle ground.
Couple who support each other and fight villains is a very cliche thing.
Just having them suspect each other suddenly after all that's happened is so plot convenient
I need proper answers more than a happy ending
About jiwon suspecting and unsuspecting her husband is natural. Jiwon is conflicted by emotions and evidence. On the one hand the evidence makes her suspect her husband and on the other hand if ever she finds any reason to believe her husband she takes it. Thanks why when she found blood in the basement she suspect her husband. She was still trying to hold on to the loving memeory of her husband. But when she hearda her husband never loved her she breaks down. She felt the base of her life was fake. She was emotionally blinded by distrust. Later, she recalls her years with her husband when she was “loved” and her child was treasured. And she started to believe in their relationship again
about hyun so trying to torture reporter kim. I dont think he had intention of killing him. I think maybe do hyun so has some problem with blood or trauma as he gets all weak like clenching his heart.
i think the moment he met reporter he just wanted to scare him. He wanted to make him feel how he was made feel when he was young.
regarding hae soo , yes she is very innocent. All she wants is better environment for his brother. When his brother started to see dead father after different ritual done to her brother it was breaking point her. She could not stand not doing anything. That why she went to talk to foreman. We don't know what happened between them. According to her, he attacked her. So we dont know the full story. Judging by the circumstances that she is not guilty could project that foreman was not a good person.
Hae sung didnt show he had evil thought so without anyone letting him know his action were wrong. While hyun so personality was known to everyone so people criticizedhim his sister tried to show the
right way. And so on
you can only mend the things you see is broken. When things are already crumbled inside we dont put thought to mend it only to discover late that at the pieces that are too broken To be put back

BHS only kill those people who doesnt have family looking for them.
Hae soo at the time of funeral had so many people keeping an eye them. At the time when BHs was supposed to meet Hae soo to kill her she was all alone. Her brother waa missing. If she was to disappear at that time noone would have noticed-

I think her going to the shop and staging the 'kidnapping' for the CCTV cameras was for show. We see in the preview that they are together and she's not exactly in distress.
Remember, the Baek family thinks Ji Won is the only one who knows the truth. They don't know that Detective Choi knows. Choi is very smart - he let Hyun Su go before because I think he has some information that we don't know yet. He mentioned there was one witness who said Hyun Su could never kill anyone. We don't know who that witness is yet.
Also, we saw a handprint on Hae Soo's window. There was a lot of focus on gathering fingerprints with tape in this episode. I think that even if the police didn't come (she said they couldn't do anything) that she got the print off the window or called someone to help her do it. That would give the evidence of BHS' real fingerprint and prove he wasn't in a coma.
Dont you think the one person who though Hyun so wasnt the killer is Hyun so sister I think Choi detective already figured out that his sister is the killer. Judging from previous episode it is shown that detective Choi has great character analysi and intuition I dont think but hoping choi and hae soo had talked regarding hyun so

I dont think it is necessarily wrong parenting. If you look at the fact mother came to know that her son was serial killer only when he got into accident. Moreover, i dont think father also has a clue beforehand.
i dont believe that a man is born evil. But looking at the story i cant wonder if hee sung was born evil. The way min seok was able to recognize his evilness when everyone was fooled.
i think parent of hee sung was wrong of protecting him in-spite of crime.-

i believe Eun Ha and Hae soo are the only two person who loved Hyun so without anything i return.
then things were getting worse for Hyun so, when he was even questioning himself, when he started to see father’s ghost, it was his sister Hae so who made an attempt to right the wrong done to her brother. The fact that she doesnt feel remorseful for killing foreman shows that how much she loved her brother. Even when things were good for her brother and when she was living in guilt, depression and neverending question of media police she still felt happy for her brother’s new life. When ji won said Hae soo not to be involved Hae soo was still happy for him abd thankful towards her.
she has indeed loved his brother unconditionally. I really hope she wont put herself in danger or sacrifice for she had promised Ji won that Hae soo would pay back for her kindness.
on the Eun Ha is a person who relies on Hyun so. In the world where mom are more cherished and sought after, Hyun so the father is more loved and sought that mother. Eun ha trust her father more than motherji won also loves Hyun so but i thibk because of her profession sometimes she is misguided. She think with her brain than her heart.
i think flower of evil is about two character Baek and Do. How their lives are similar yet different.-

I feel like do hyun so might not be the real son of do min seok. He doesnt have any memory beforehand? Could min seok had kidnapped ? I feel like do hyun so might be another son of baek family? The maid might have kept secret. Maybe since he was imperfect baby he could have let go by father..
i think now there will be conflict in do hyun so to choose between sister and wife whom he loves the most. His wife wants his sister to confess the killing. Sister is willing to confess but do hyun so wont let her tell the truth.just a thought

Sibling love
I know the love between Do hyun so and ji won is perfect. Ji won cant stop loving her while do hyun so does everything make this relationship works.But the sibling love shared is the purest and both sibling dont expect other to return their love and affection
if you recall the part when Do hyun so and jiwon goes back to Min seok (father) home , he remembers child hood memory. Sister is always teaching her brother and calming him. She says mother is gonna come back when he becomes as tall as the mark on tree. When father calls, she teaches him to just say “okay” to whatever father says.
she was always defending and protecting her brother even though she may be older by few years.when other people thought do hyun so is a monster for his inability to feel, she is always trying to teach him emotions and to be humane. Maybe that’s why Do Hyun So hs turned out good. She has complete faith in Do hyun so goodness. The lecture on difference between precious and important was insightful. Similarly, she is always asking his brother to say what you really feel than what he just speaks. She is trying to tell his brother that his effort actually is love towards his wife. That why when ji won wanted to break the marriage, Do haesoo felt a need to save marriage even by admitting for crime
when ji won realise that do hyun said he has never felt love emotion towards ji won, she was heartbroken and angry. On the other hand when Do Hyun So said that he never tried to looked for his sister and was only thinking about himself anf family, sister still embrace him in a hug and cries out loud.
Do hyun so also has great love for his sister. He instantly takes over his sister crime. And always reminds his sister that the decision to be labeled as murderer is his choice and she doesnt want to feel guilty. The way he warned his sister not to hang out with reporter kim was protective as he had seen how much heartbroken his sister became back then when reporter kim left her.
i feel like sister is going to be kidnapped.
when Do Hyun So is on run due to his identity exposure by detective, baek song may contact him and to turn himself in. Again he might save his sister by scarificing himself.-

i think it is not that choi didnt like do hyun su. But rather he was able not to be swayed by the happy social picture DHs was putting i front of others. He knew something doesnt make sense so wasnt able to trust DHS. Once he knows about DHS in detail, he might side with him.-

My predictions
The real beak soong is the accomplice of min seok. He was looking for prodigy and he found that in baek song
then i felt that baek song father also has anti social personality that why maybe his son also has it. How to deal with this personality depends on individual nature. If you have conscience you can be doctor or live a normal life like do hyun su.
the accomplice might want to kill do hyun so sister. Sister said that he was studying her feature. The fact that she is all alone. Her father died and her brother ran away made her perfect victim. Baek soong said on the night when he hit do hyun so he was going to meet a girl which could be do hyun so sister.
Moreover in the precap when sister come to doctor hom, the expression of baek soong looks scsry.
do hyun so’s sister is hiding something that could be completely unrelated to this murder case. She somewhat is angry at reporter kim for not being their when she needed most. She said after saving she would do thing she need to do. This theory can be a little too much. Do hyun so’s sister might have kid.

the doctor like do hyun so thinks rationally and without emotions. He takes action what is best useful for him making his seem kind of self fish. He calculated the situation and found making his son is the best case scenario.
in spite of being antisocial people might have feeling for own kids. That why he was holding on to his son. While the mother feels sorry enough to let the comatose son die-

After yesterday episode, i feel like do hyun father may not be killer. First of all, he committed suicide. I don’t think a killer will commit suicide just because he got busted.
and do hyun’s sister made reporter recall that he had respected her father.
like someone in this thread had mentioned, maybe basement was the place where do hyun was reprimanded, where he was taught to be normal person. The cage was for do hyun. The part where his sister teaches him how to say “okay” to father when spoken.
the reason do hyun is so affected by the place is he had so much painful memories.
maybe since he cant feel pain or fear, his father used means to torture.

i felt like the face of Mon Yeong mother and Sang tae mothers were same. So it referred to tale of two sister. But again i am not good differentiating faces.
that why the picture of MY mother was hidden if Gang tae had seen the picture he would have known it was his motheri feel like MY mother married the rich guy and have better life abd ST mother had poor life. And Gang tae was apopted
and remember cook Yuri mon saying MY and ST looks similar. So maybe they could be cousins.
ST know so many secrets. I think he knows that GT is not his real brother or maybe GT is son from other mother of ST father.
it was mentioned that dooly being abopted from ST mother. Maybe mother told this story to be more accepting of GT.

this is my first time in this chat. This drama had made me think a lot. I rewatch episodes..
i am wondering a lot about this possibilities
1.suspicious woman with flower clothes, i think many of us might have thought she could be Mun-yeong’s mother. I feel like Gang tae mother is killed by Mun-yeong mother because she is very possessive about her daughter. She had told her daughter many times to stay away from Gang tae. Since she figured her daughter wont be able to stay way from Gang tae. Maybe she was planning to kill Gang tar but his mother somehow found about this plan. We can see Sang tar witnessing mother being killed in forest. Maybe somehow Mun-yeong was in lost her memory but as her memory returned she came ti take revenge.
2. I think Gang tae has some mental issue. He might have dementia. It is shown that he doesnt recall so many memories from past like he liked jampong instead of his elder brother. I feel like the reason sometimes sang tae is repeating this is to make his younger brother Gang tae remember.
3. Mun-yeong is shown as cold hearted person. I think she is the one who understand a human mind most which can be seen in her work. She knows what people are going through. All stories she tells have helped patient get better. Beauty and beast being a stockholm disorder may have been i reference to the patient who was beaten by her ex husband.
4. i feel like later we will seeMun-yeong and Sang -tae taking care of Gang tae. We see two personalities who are seen as “not okay” helping other. So it is indeed okay to be not oaky as long as your heart is at right place

I feel like episode 16 will answer all our question. It will tie all the loose ends. Before i questioned what happened in the cellars with Kim moo jin in the basement and episode 15 answered that question
i think and hope all these question will be answered in last
1. does Hyun su have some disease. I feel like he might have tumor or something like that in his head. The way his head hurt crazy at times and he feels like having heart attack. The fact that his head was bleeding might mean his “ disease” will be found and cured.
2. What happened with the village foreman and Do hae so in the basement? I think we will know what made Hae so take extreme case of murdering someone? I might think she could have been sexually assaulted.
3. Do Hae so is sure of Do hyun su never being able to kill someone. This is not sibling love but rather a firm confirmation that she has evidence of Hyun so incapability of Harm. Maybe Do min seok , the father had wanted Hyun so learn killing at the tender age but hyun so was unable to kill making father angry. Maybe hae so has seen her brother being scolded by her father. Maybe Hyun so get all tensed up and have panic attack whenever he was told to do murderous activities.
