From Jk’s YouTube with Somin, Skin-ships were beyond natural to be just friends from my opinion. 
 

when taking the mbti, both turned out to be Introverts (jk-isfp, sm-infp) and pd says that’s the worst combination at the end. This statement was interesting as it puts them as a ‘pair’ in context. Following which, jk says ah, the key difference being she likes to go to festivals a lot whilst he doesn’t like. And says, ‘if we are a couple and I also go to the festivals, then that means I really love that person’. Now, idk if that is a hypothetical situation he said or he is alluding to some behind the stories where he might have gone (I wld like to believe with Somin ) in the past? Looking forward to how the subtitles come up.

I'm a fan of RM and I love Kookmin.

My personal opinion as of kookmin fan is i like how KJK protect JSM and interaction between them but as RM fan if KJK always help JSM it will ruin the show itself because people watch RM not watch kookmin.

It’s a show and no action of any of the cast will make such a huge impact as to make others feel unfair/ruin the show consciously. They know how, what and when to do things to collectively ensure keeping the show as a priority and we ought to know as well. In fact, instead of ruining the show, for a lot of us, we look forward to the show more  because of the banters kjk oppa shares with somin.

Kjk oppa subtly defending somin’s stance when her friend was talking about the date incidents during college days is quite cute to me! Whilst he did not come too strong on refuting her thoughts, he sort of went around saying, maybe somin felt a certain way or it could have appeared so and so to somin. That was cute!!!

Janghoon seems the most opposed for somin and Choi jungwon pairing when jungwon himself asked: how are we together? And for some reason, although it could be an overstretch, why do I feel like, her casting on such shows have a weird correlation with those people already being close to kjk oppa(in this case, janghoon n kjk oppa r really close acquaintances). Again, that could be just me. Somin’s denial for kjk oppa got me a lil flustered, but, somehow made me think that they(janghoon and kjk friends) know something about kjk oppa’s inclination/equation with somin, even if it’s one-way or two-ways. Worst case is we believe somin and say they might have friend zoned each other already. A little less worrying is the scenario that they are still in the getting-to-know each other beyond-friend phase. Most positive case is that, kjk oppa recommended somin for her promotion or janghoon got in touch with somin via kjk oppa to cast somin, which then suggests there is something. I am saying this, because casting for Korean variety shows are normally straightforward with close colleagues seen more often on each other’s shows.  My head and heart goes into full roller coaster every time I think about Kookmin. Let hope there is still light at the end.

This ep had major role reversal between kjk and somin in their kookmin dynamic. For some reason, either due to his tight schedule or something else, kjk oppa seem tired and withdrawn in this ep. And somin directly addressing kjk oppa impromptu several times to get his reactions were really cute!!!!! For instance, when they were preparing to move indoors, somin puts her hands on his shoulder saying: oppa you can’t stay still ok? This must be her prompting him to be active when impressing both the girls later.

 

Her gesture appeared very subtle and natural yet intimate with her speech and the hands on his shoulder. Apart from the song he addressed for her, i found kjk oppa very restrained with his actions towards somin in this ep whilst it appeared more upfront  towards jihyo. This understandably could be due to the love line. And as much as I avoid being drawn into the onscreen dynamics only, unfortunately, it usually ends up being the only give and take with kookmin.

Like someone pointed out, without meaning anything else, can we give a shout-out to wookmin(somin’s younger bro) for having the protein shake kjk oppa endorses today? For the time being, I will pretend that it is purely cause he bought it coincidentally( this is the second time lol)..

If I am not wrong, it was part of her character in ‘Top star yoobaek’ Drama. Her character wears the ring towards the drama’s end.

Hi guys,

 

So have been reading and watching all the kookmin contents although I have been silent due to being busy. But kudos to everyone who make their time to share your thoughts!! My thoughts about kookmin at this stage: their relationship looks something with an extremely strong stability, understanding and mutual admiration! Of course I am more aligned towards thinking they are already a couple at this stage. And keeping their interactions low-key sounds good news to me. In the hindsight, I try and stay away from delving into chanmin or any other lovelines as it wrecks my mind and heart at tiny moments for which I choose to not put my energy. But let’s see where all of this goes. 

 

Just to ask something else, one of the Instagram posts about kookmin(linked here) a while back had a really beautiful background song put up for the compilations. And I can’t tell which song is this. Anyone can help?

I think judging someone's reaction on a variety show is quite risky cause most of them in a loveline can make you think that they are in love.

 

But based on what Sechan has said on a radio show, I don't think he has actual feelings for her. If not, I don't think Somin still continue to hang out so much with him outside the show.

 

If the show and the ones involved made you believe that they might have feelings for the other party, then both of them have done a good job with the loveline. 

 

But I do agree that it is and will definitely hurt them later on. Especially if people now think that Sechan is on love with Somin.

 

If she decides to settle down or her relationship gets exposed, then those who believed that Sechan was in love with her are gonna curse her out. 

Not to forget that our kookmin contents and all of their reactions come on varieties and not real life. And still we are here. Choosing what to believe and what not to believe is up to the individual. But, what ever little all of us suspect we know about them, it has come through the variety shows we watch. So ultimately, we can only speculate. And this doesn't give me a good feeling.

More than anything, continuing this loveline is hurting both sechan and somin. Sechan really does seem to have feelings for somin at this point from what i saw in todays MUD ep and past RM eps. His face is very transparent.  Somin's stance in this loveline is for the variety's purpose which she did clarify on multiple occasions. And knowing her clear stance in the chanmin equation, still insisting that it will work somehow even if for variety sake is super irritating and kind of getting to me now. And kjk oppa trying to pacify ha ha's over-insistence on the loveline did not help at all. The only thing it gets to me is because if kjk oppa does share his feelings for somin and that they are not dating yet; he will never act on it if a close person of his has feelings towards the same person. He will recede for sure. That's what he has said in the past that he will never associate himself with a person for whom his friends also has feelings. And through the teasing and him trying to be a 'matchmaker' i think, he is inwardly trying to know sechan's stance. Not to forget, somin is having to bear the consistent going back and forth with the lovelines. Like, let her breath! For both kookmin and chanmin, i wish they can stop the might-be equation completely for good if there is nothing at all!

AS soon as oppa saw somin’s lunchbox, he’s like: it’s not for me. Like as if, he expected it to be only for him despite there being eight members lol.. The T-shirt was the biggest action so far  from somin towards  kookmin equation. The other members did not know what to say. Our captain for today I guess is somin then..

Trust me, I listened again and again and heard: 

 

when somin got into the car, and jokingly said: honey, let’s go( presumably to sechan), instead of sechan answering, jk oppa LEGIT said ‘okay!’ And then somin again carried on with loveline. But the timing of what they said feels like they r teasing us already lol.. anybody else felt the same thing?

Guys, been thinking for the past week about a crazy theory I have and was hesitating to not post that here. But since it’s just me and my thoughts, I guess there is no harm imagining it lol.. so don’t judge me for that.

 

So, in ‘my ugly duckling’, two weeks ago, a new cast member had been brought in and from what I have seen, his image is that of someone who is tight with spending stuff i.e. one who is thrifty.  And his image is almost an overlap with that of kjk oppa’s. Kjk has not been part of my ugly duckling for close to three weeks now. And it could be due to his schedule, concerts and other things. But why do I feel like he might be carefully planning to leave the show in accordance with what is currently going with his real life of not being a ‘single’ any more? In other words, something about his part and the bringing in of a new member in my ugly duckling with same image gets me to think perhaps he is getting ready to announce something about his life that could result in him graduating ( being single to married) from

the show soon. It might be an overstretch from my side. But if there is a 1% of that possibility, I hope it’s somin lol...

I don’t buy that. Cause if u notice their reactions are blurred out in that moment as if it’s deliberate.

Any hate comments directed to either jk oppa or somin in relation to their chemistry are in a way accepting of something they also see that they don’t want to see. Well as for calling their relation as ‘creepy’, they are just hypocrites with their rules one day and no rules the other day. And both jk oppa and somin are proper adults over 30yrs olds. No approval or disapproval is needed regardless of how much you or we or they insist. If there is something, they will decide on that themselves for themselves without giving a damn about what others think. And like always, for kookmin shippers, I think it is best not to pay attention to any of those hate comments. It’s a waste of energy trust me!

Lol when kjk oppa said, the first guy i can think of introducing to you (somin)  is yang sechan, somin goes, 'Lets meet up'. And sechan is like with whom? When yjs says he will introduce her to other guys, kjk says if he is to introduce her to someone, he thinks n then says (laughing) it might end up being sechan n somin was in dismay lol
