Prof Cha seems less irritating now. The first lawsuit he was in ended with his student killing himself. Now I understand why he was so determined to defend In-Soo. It was technically unnecessary for Prof Cha to appear in court but the morale of his subordinates will nose-dive if he didn't protect the dignity of his team.
I have less sympathy for Dr Seo though. He is one cowboy who breached all protocol. For his 'heroic' act and lack of training in disaster relief, he has put a few others at risk while protecting/rescuing him. To save him, the medical team had to divert their resources from other patients.
Interesting thought... true nevertheless. There is a limit on when to save people at risk of more people getting hurt...
Just saw the episode.. why is CEJ and CEJ's scenes so limited and far apart... as if they are not dating anymore... after rejecting her thoughts of marriage we didnt get a scene of him asking why she wants that marriage... haiz...
I wonder what will tonight's episode bring...

I read that the Chinese government has been trying to encourage and promote a more “manly” male appearance for years and discourage “idol” looking males. I fear LYX in TTEOTM is the exact thing the Chinese government is going against with his slim figure, ethereal good looks, dancing background, and not to mention heavy makeup he wore on the show…..so I’m not surprised if the Chinese government won’t do anything against the hate. They probably low key encourage it.
Yes, all those mudslinging against Bailu... like why... as mentioned earlier, when watching the drama, i really did that Bitcheng looks bad in some of the scenes and at some point perhaps was crossed eyes... i cant imagine her being compared to Bailu who is clearly more beautiful... CDL might be slim but Bailu is curvey, definately more smoking sexy.... hahha...
the black dress that she wore during the premier of the show with all the cast interviews, im sure LYX (in white, the scene where he wanted to stand beside Bailu, and asking why someone is standing inbetween them as if to cut their CP - that was hilarious, love LYX for protecting his CP with Bailu) cant help but took a peek at the boobs (though no obvious videos were made to show him staring) like what SZ did, more obvious that even Bailu was surprised to see SZ's stare... haha
Yes i did read about wanting men to be more manly.... no offense to all Boys Love? (BL) fans, but i really think such shows should not be promoted freely unless it had a rating of 21 and above for audience... gotta keep society more traditional a bit for that part... hehe...
That is why i love Love is Sweet to pieces,... thats how i know of LYX and became a fan - he looks dashing, handsome and yuan shai is almost every girls dream boyfriend... haha..
I tried to watch Ashes of Love but still stuck in god knows, in which episode... hahaa...

I read the CDL issue with caution... i dont understand the hate on LYX and Bailu, indeed they are the underdog who broke the 2023 drama rankings and everyone is checking them out... Yes its business to mudsling, waterbomb the actors and drama but the rate its going seemed to be crazy. If the chinese govt want to stop something those crazy paid accounts used to bring hate to actors or dramas should be wiped out first... compete fairly and see what willll happen to drama and actor rankings if all are not mislead by false news and information

The only drama I’ve seen with LYX and Janice is Light Chaser rescue. Havent watched the other 2 dramas they’ve been in. I get conflicted because like the ZBB/DD pairing, I get tired of seeing the same people paired together all the time…but I will admit that LYX and BL had the best chemistry from all the dramas I’ve watched with him in it and I wouldn’t mind watching another from them as long as the plot is different. BL is literally the cutest!
Ive seen him in some drama... the eye of the storm, weak plot, king's woman, sad ending... As an actor he is not bad... but DD, i dont think she acts well, she is beautiful no doubt but thats about it... now with Bailu, we all know she can act and is not scared of giving fantastic kisses... (still bitter about the drama with Allen Ren, saw only the modern version, that was really really sloowww)....
Since ive read comments on ZBB's awaresome kisses as well, im wondering why not... in HWMA, it seemed obvious that the kisses were made mostly near the cheek sides, haha.. im worried if ZBB and Bailu act, ZBB cant help but kissed Bailu on the mouth like what LYX does...
Haha.. i cannot imagine how LYX will react... cant reports ever ask if they would like to date each other...even consider it? ... i remember Bailu when asked about Yuan Shuai, if she would be willing to date someone like him, she said no such man exists but if available she will literally FLY to that person...hahha

Ive read the issue about CDL... but is it really that bad? Why would she do that? Why the drama production would pair people in the drama is they are going to have toxic relationship in it?
In all honesty, CDL isnt even that pretty, at one point i thought she had crossed eyes? Yikes!... no offense, when she cried when XL died, she really looked bad... sigh...
Scary china entertainment industry...sigh...
I would lovw to read more on it, to understand, why tencent is so bad!

Watched ep20... saw ZBB before and have liked Janice wu in her old drama with her ex.... after seeing ep 20, wondering if its even possible for ZBB snd Bailu act together? Ha... LYX is ZBB's friend right.. and while LYX has acted with Janice 3x, why not ZBB and with Bailu for a start.. would be interesting... explosive kisses? LYX would be jealous... haha
I wonder interms of their star billings who is .. what is their standing?... among the 4 actors?... hmm....
Not to misunderstand me, i would love LYX and Bailu's 3rd collob, but thats probably another year to go... but Bailu and ZBB is possible...

Ive read comments on how it was great that TTJ and LSS had a daughter... on one hand, i dont think its great at all, like why thw child had to grow up fatherless?... and a constant reminder of TTJ, a heartbreak many centuries ahead... its not easy being a single parent...
On the other hand, if there was even a tiny hope that TTJ will be revived, as what the book said, then yes, having that daughter is the best... and how TTJ will adore both, as what the final voiceover of the series mentioned... though even then TTJ already what to send her away to her grandparent so he and LSS can live alone again, together! Haha

Seeing the drama, such disaster response, (which was slow and bad) but the doctors dedication to save people... im skptic... most will not risk their lives in such circumstances... even the medical stuff that they do in the drama, i know its based on real medical cases, but, if it was the region im at im sure none of the people will be able to be save in such dire circumstances coz they dont have the skills as the korean doctors do!... no offense, emergency response is terrible from what we have heard and read back home.... im sure it due to lack of budget and skilled personnel, sigh.....
Ok one thing which is a question for me....
Why build a trauma centre building if youre not gonna fund its operation???? Silly isnt?... what will be the use of the building which is already standing if its not going to be used??? White elephant project???? What logic???

Deng Lun has been blacklisted in China. I don’t think any Chinese celebrity will ever want to be associated with him anymore which is probably why Yang Zi never mentioned him again. We won’t probably ever see him in the entertainment industry ever again
but I hope LYX never ever gets cancelled..I could watch him forever

Yes i do know that Deng Lun was being blacklisted by the govt because of tax evasion.... i remember reading that he was given the chances to amend but he didnt when given the warning...they call all blame the manager... but who knows right...
My gosh, yes i hope LYX will never do that... i wish to him very successful in the next 10 years when he is in his prime... from a nobody to someone in a span of few years, against all odds, he is at the top of his game...
I could never understand the hate that Bailu gets from antifans... i know we dont have to understand their reasons, but seriously, cant those antifans distinguished between between good natural acting to clueless acting, not at natural on que? Man we all saw BTS of Love is sweet, then TTEOTM... Bailu acting is top notch and she can kiss and not shy about it..... yes, i find it amusing that when we all can hear LyX's real kissing sound or something when they kissed... man i wish they did date at some point and still maintain good friendship .
Coming to the drama im currently watching, Here We Meet Again, so i did like Janice Wu before this felt sorry that she had to get a divorce from her husband, but somehow in this drama she was not acting on que and sometimes she smile too early when the scene doesnt require her to do so.... and the so called kiss scene... what was that again?... cold fish kiss?... (im at ep 14)... Vin Zhang, why does he looked as if he has mixed blood, he seemed fair at times... so far i have no issue with his acting as ive seen him act in other dramas before this but none seeemed to catch my eyes.... drama plot to be blame...
But yes, LYX AND BAILU FOR 3RD DRAMA AND MANY MORE!!!
Why is impossible since that Sabrina Chen will act with LYX again in their 3rd collaboration and not Bailu... haiz... Team #YUnLu all the way
Never underestimate LYX's protection of Bailu... they formed great friendship during and after LIS
... both after coming out from annoying events back then and comforted each other..

Actually, there was a bit of controversy when this drama was airing because the 2nd lead (Leo) was having more screentime than Deng Lun.

So it was the production house mistake as they wanted longer episodes but the writers only gave them like 30ish episodes... yet they extended it to 60ish..... and i read a comment that Deng Lun had actually prior commitments hence that was why Leo's scene was increased?
Man, ive not really been following the story but Leo seemed to get more dramas after Ashes .... and i know of him due to LIS; remembering Bailu saying she hasnt heard of him before and he was casted for LIS only then she realised how good he was after watching the drama (Ashes)....how things have changed... 2018 (or was it filmed in 2016?) and now 2023...
Where is Deng Lun and where is Leo..... and i saw that Yangzi seemed to be still on good terms with Leo, ie, calling him out when both were spotted filming at a studio a few years ago....
Sigh, nvm Leo only needs Bailu for his everything, hahaa

With regards to the sudden entertainment black out announcement today, i am surprised it took several days for it to be announced.
I saw this story earlier at BBC news https://www.bbc.com/news/world-asia-china-65618584 a few days ago and thought nothing of it, since i didnt see any report of it after that.... it wasnt blown up yet and everything was just normal... and yet, bam, today, the announcement of entertainment blackout? Shocking... so no more new dramas in the coming weeks? Are china tv channels going for re-runs?..... hmmm...

@realistic2280a for me WJ reaction in seeing EJ is okay. I mean he was in a matter of life and death situation wherein he just realized that his life is turning for a better. He's narrating his hardship in life to the soldier and sort of ok thats it (with the tears) but when he saw his gf calling he stand up and sort of perk up. He must have realize that one of the reason to keep fighting and living. These new people in his life.
What I did not understand is that he took 3 yrs to say ILY?
Hehe...he just realise his life is better after 3 years?...
But im sure he has always been grateful to Doldam for giving him the chance to be a real doctor, and under Master Kim's mentorship... but yeah, his relationship with Eunjae has always been weird...
Season 2 of the drama, what is with the so called Reset couple? The kiss wasnt even passionate, just both lips pecks between the two of them, far and wide in episodes... im not sure why... and the end of season 2, Eunjae just ^forgot^ woojin and not calling him when she worked in seoul, for a year? Like realistic??? Haiz...
3 years later, they started to live together but they act as if they havent slept together??.... thats weird at this time and age... but at least Eunjae's father wants to met and have a formal introduction with his daughter's boyfriend.. which is good...
But yes, looking forward to me of their 'skinship' if any in future episodes... sigh...
And i must say, i just blame the writers not the actors coz they direct the drama's flow... (hmmmm the director could have chnage something if he wanted to, rignt?)

So finally started with the drama... coz of the void left by #TTEOTM... people say, LYX got famous due to this drama...
I saw LYX's interview about the drama...where he said, when they were filming, the place can get so hot until 50ish degree, and they would sweat immediatedly.... but because it is a high budget drama, his sweat was covered by CGI... ha! I thought it was hilarious... furthermore, Yang Zi did say LYX's face is so small... LYX being thin caused her to lose 20pounds; she also asked LYX to stop losing his weight.... i guess LYX didnt listen to her.. hehe...
After watching 3 episodes, i see why its a big budget drama... and i see LYX's face is a bit fuller here than his dramas after this...
Seeing this after Deng Lun got ban... sigh, so much drama...
Back to the drama.... by 3rd episode Fire God already liked Jin Min... thats fast... hmmm... since ji min gave that red thread to Run yu, i wonder whats the significance...

Im a bit ticked when Woojin said ^I love you^ to Eunjae, but never made any effort to hug her after saying that!... like man youre nearly killed and you just stood there, smile , say those words and leave... while Eunjae being clueless and all, just stood there.... like, whats wrong with the writers? So difficult to give them some skinship? Haiz...
We can see Master kim worried about Woojin... i hope this drama will end with Woojin and Eunjae's marriage and he can be Woojin's adoptive father, nice wedding scene - yes yes god forbid in law with Professor Cha.. haha
But yes there is just something not right with this episode...hmmm

Yes... the need to be accepted by her family... she worked extra hard hence why she always ^fight^ with Woojin during medical school to be the best... she's lucky that Woojin fell for her... haha... their height make all the difference...
Woojin becoming more mature, as if taking the reins from Master Kim in the future... he is in good hands and the mentor is proud of him...

When director Park is not evil, he is such a nice man!... Much prefer him being like this in the drama...
If only doctors are really doing it to save lives and not for fame and fortune as in many cases
in real life.... such drama should be watched by asipring doctors.. go back to their basic values on why they want to be doctors.
What will happen to Eunjae... sigh...
And its good to see that Woojin is becoming a mentor...

Even in dramas, u ca see how bad the pollution is).... Even the so call world's most powerful nation has its own share of social, political and economic problems and troubles but they dont go around censoring people to compliance. But yes, different people different cultures and values.. sigh...
Anyhow, now im all game for Bailu's drama with Dylan... i wish it will air this year!...
And 3rd collobration between Bailu and Yunxi? Bring it on...though i prefer modern drama, with all those cool gadgets, they did say they want to act in a crime/spy drama? But xianxia probably will have more followers.... but the cost of production, is significantly higher than modern drama...
Im rewatching bts of LIS and TTeOTM... only Romantic Teacher Kim3rd can move me to see another show...

Hmmm... Been seeing the bts of Bailu's new drama with Dylan... not sure how good it will be, but i look forward to that and hopefully there is a thread here for future discussions. Seems to me at times, Dylan is the taller version of Yunxi... haha.... both dance when Bailu wants to dance, haha... and both laugh very nicely...

The next episode preview showed that he seemed arrogant trying to be better than Master Kim... yes i know its his trademark... still...
I wonder how much are all the cast paid... everyone seemed to have limited scenes... again, my biases, EJ snd WJ, like.. they barely had any interaction at all... why why why...
