Both Mi So and Young Joon were kidnapped by a woman who was a mistress and got pregnant then lost her baby and got dumped by the man. They were 5 and 9 years at that time, Young Joon got brought to the redevelopment area that became the amusement park by his brother who wanted to abandon him as he was jealous of him and the attention that he was receiving from their parents. Young Joon met the woman there, was drugged and locked up with his hands and legs tied with cable tie. Mi So was took there after 3 days when she got up in the middle of the night, ran out looking after her mother then got tricked by the same women to where Young Joon was locked up and was also tied with cable tie.
The women wanted to kill both of them to accompany her in death but after some imploring by Young Jun decided to commit suicide instead, witnessing the women commit suicide but unable to do anything to help her thus became the trauma for him. To prevent Mi So from witnessing the same thing, he tricked her into thinking that the women was a huge giant spider that would kill her if she saw her, thus Mi So's fear of spiders. His scar was created as he had to crawled to the women after she killed herself to get the scissors to cut away the cable tie and injured himself further but he cut both their cables and sent her home and she wanted to marry him and she grew up.
Young Joon 's name was originally not this name but Seung _____ but when he got home after his kidnapping, he realised that his brother got too guilty at the kidnapping that he imagined himself being the target of kidnapping instead becoming violent and lashing out at Young Joon for the bullying and kidnapping. It became an unhealthy situation at home and with the parents at a loss to what to do with the father suggested sending the brother to the mental hospital, thus Young Joon faked anesthesia pretending to have forgotten anything and even apologising to his brother. The parents thus changed his name and pretended that his brother was the subject of the kidnapping instead. As such, all this while Young Joon knew who Mi So was and also got her as his secretary for that reason.
Mi So originally thought that the brother was the one who was kidnapped with her but Young Joon's mother told her that the one who was kidnapped wore a custom made designer shirt from a famous designer which Young Joon's brother did not have and that shirt was wore the day he was kidnapped and also the shirt in her memories . Thus, she knew that Young Joon was the brother in her dreams.
The chinese version of webtoon still ongoing and stopped where Mi So and Young Joon just officially became a couple and went for a vacation to celebrate Christmas. There will be a number of skinship moments including backhugs, few passionate kisses and a bed scene.

I'm sorry is this a joke? I don't understand. What happened? I don't... I can't believe it. I refuse to believe it !! I can't believe I watched 19 episodes to get THIS ending!! I was prepared to almost every finale possible, EXCEPT an open one!!
OMG! what a waste of resources, of actors, of a possibility of a great ending!!! I'm disappointed.
Didn't we almost had it all?

I'm rewatching a korean odyssey now, because I'd assumed this final episodes would be very difficult to watch, I'd be crying a lot and would need some laughter and some joy, before all the mess with ASN and KDS. And I just want to say is amazing how the authors built this love story, and how the characters started developing, how JSM was so reserved, before acknowledging she was SJ, and SOG was so rude at the beginning, but you could see how curious he was about this little girl, and then woman, who waited for him for 25 years, and then who had the most amazing blood. How they banter with each other, how SJ started to appreciate SOG's company, missing him, and slowly falling in love, trusting him, showing him her true personality, and SOG started to see her less like food, and more like a woman, someone he couldn't live without.
And now, he is all alone... they've lost so much time (25 years she waited for him), and then the fighting, and with ASN and the tricks, and the GGG, and now he has lost her, now that they both have acknowledge their feelings. She dies, and leaves him all alone. She wanted to grow old, she wanted to see more movies, OMG is so sad.
And just like the white heron... he is all alone without his Samjang, I would also want to forget everything and just disappear. God, I'm so depressed right now.
And honestly, I don't really care about the dragon, the CGI, I'm amazed with the quality of performance from our main couple, their chemistry, and how the characters have evolved. I find it really beautiful.
And (unpopular opinion) I don't care if the end involves reincarnation of one or the other,, as long as they get together, and don't leave it to be an open ending. Of course, I would prefer it they both end up living HEA in heaven or as deities (like many have said before), but I'll take what I can, and if they end up together, that's fine by me.. as long as it's not with SOG alone, saying "remember my name" looking at the sunset and then: THE END. THAT would kill me.

It's just I just realized that they cut OYS bts a lot. During the ep 7 kissing scene, they were laughing when they were about to kiss because of Cha Seung Won's ad libs then OYS just disappear just like fhat.
the bts for ep 15 is also the same. When the director teased " it doesn't feel like OG?", LSG joked pretending to be ready to catch her, you can actually see her laughing but then they cut her again.
If not for people complaining of her bts, i doubt they would ever show her bts or interview at all. It's obvious that the casts get along more than fine
I don't care about celebs personal relationships but i've been a long fan of OYS, she suffered a lot because of that one particular scandal. She even said that she didn't want to do any variety shows for a few years, disappeared from her fancafe (she was very active in interacting with her fans), lost lost of weight till you can see her collarbone sticking out.. that time her fans worked so hard by continously writing supporting messages.
Only until the success of Jang Bori, she starts being active again.
I can imagine the hates and backlashes she will get if she gets into any dating scandal again esp if it involved the nation golden boy who dated the nation lovely girl lol.
As a fan i also prefer her to stay low key with her relationship unless he is really the one she is going to get married to.
I didn't know about the scandal where she was involved. awful.
And now I can definitely understand about her being reserved and protecting herself by not showing too friendly at BTS with LSG, specially with the million fans LSG has. I imagine the hate she would receive if gossip about them started, and not only them, but with Yoona & LSG fans, and women always receive more hate than men... Just thinking about what happened to OYS, I'd do the same actually, I mean, I 'd try not to have gossip started, and actually would try not to get involved with my co-stars, and if we were friends, I'd try not to have footage of me being friendly or laughing, or even hugging my costar. Jeez, it's like I would be really paranoid.
God, now I don't know if I would like them dating, maybe just friends? Oh, but their chemistry is amazing, I just can't separate the characters from the actors.
well, anyhow, I really like OYS and LSG's acting, and hope tomorrow's and Sunday's ep be amazing.

You know it was consensual, we know it, but MAYBE SJ didn't know it (a fictional character btw !!!!), so it has to be rape?!! And you come to a thread, where you know we are fans of the couple and the show, to create a stir ? to trivialize something as serious as rape because of a KISS IN A TV SHOW and 'cause maybe they had sex (which btw we didn't witness) to argue about not being consensual even though you know it was?!!!

can I just say I'm currently watching ep .18 raw, I'm at the minute 17, and without understanding anything of the dialogues I'm in tears? That's how powerful OYS's acting is. Brought me to tears without even understanding what is she saying, only with her expressions and the music.

5) Her character of selflessness will never allow the great sage, whom she loves so deeply as well, to die in her stead.
With this strong will of hers, she will make sure her fates carries out as how it is meant to be. Hence, the text preview, “in order to shoulder the fate of disappearing to save the world, Sun Mi bids farewell to OG and sorts out her feelings”.

I think SJ will choose to die and they'll make it really dramatic, having fought with SOG and not speaking to him. Probably SOG will witness her death (maybe he won't killed her, but It'll be like a suicide?) and he'll regret not talking to her, not spending her last minutes on Earth with her (cue dramatic music and
) and remembering her... and maybe then we'll get a HEA in heaven or as deities ? Or maybe SOG will end the world after SJ death, who knows?! Anyway, It'll be sad.
