Does anyone know Chairman Cha’s background?

Is she from a rich family herself ?

    Was she born poor?

I believe she said she was born into a well to do family. However, her parents died and her brothers took over the family business and cut her out. They arranged for her to get marries to Mr Hong I believe. So she has resentment toward her brothers for excluding her.

OMG are we about to find out that dead Mr. Seo and Mr. Ha were actually in cahoots? Or did Brad somehow profit from the sale? Or is he feeling guilty about his dongsaeng family being poor while he forgot about them?

Can somebody give Won Ju the beatdown she has been asking for already?

Seok Gu is back to being annoying again. Bah.

I'm more bothered about CH and her attitude towards Nam Gu's job at Brad's company. I know he said he would take his MIL to the doctor, but he can't help it if he gets asked to be a subject matter expert in a meeting on a topic he is intimately knowledgeable about. After all, she couldn't be bothered to cancel her "important meeting" at her job to take her own mother to the hospital. And now she is annoyed Nam Gu got held up in circumstances beyond his control. SMH

*sigh* Maybe I am suffering from kdrama fatigue and need to take a break from them for a while. I feel like this writer and the one from "Gentleman and a Young Lady" insults my intelligence and common sense to introduce tension in these dramas.

Yeah... I mean, I get that YS is angry and upset...but she should direct that to her husband. Because, he's the one who is failing her. The fact that she's taking it out on DD just shows how little she cares. Bc, if DD's last words to Anna are those said in anger, it will hurt her later.

I blame this, again, on this messy writer. This whole theater with the parents, which frankly annoys me, because I can't stand them anymore should have happened before, not now when there's no time.

Those scenes with JN were really the best in this ep. The rest... Well, and the church scene. But again, if this writer hadn't wasted time last episode with that woman, DD could have had YG begging a little more. Which I think would have been fair.

old this very thing after watching episode 50. They could have spent more time with JN's resistance and the mess with DD's parents and her reconciliation with them instead of that stupid Crazy Jo act. It would have made those 4 episodes more palatable.

Yes! "Cider" (사이다 = Sa-Ee-Da) is the name of a popular, clear, sweet soda in Korea. (It's similar to Sprite and 7-up.)

To drink it is refreshing! Like, seeing Sara getting kicked out of YG Manor was refreshing! Ahhhh, Cider!

The salt was overkill. But it was pretty funny how Dae-ran specified "굵은소금 (sea salt)." Regular table salt wasn't enough. Like, she needs to cut Sara with chunky salt or something!

I'm glad Sara finally got called out for her insane behavior, but I am sad for the actress for playing such a degrading character, and sad for the rest of us who had to sit through that.

Chilsung Cider is good stuff. I prefer it over 7UP and Sprite. Fun fact: It is the first carbonated soft drink developed domestically in Korea. Cider is to Koreans as Coca Cola is to Americans.

I usually take the white truck of doom as a humorous thing and accept it like everybody else, but I got pretty annoyed yesterday.

Even my wife who has a pretty high makjang tolerance muttered, "This drama has gotten stupid." at the end of 48.

My last post was kind of written tongue in cheek but I honestly can't think of any makjang elements the writer has left out. However, I agree. I will take a hard pass on any drama that has this writer featured in the future.

Do you think it's still possible with everything that happened between KR and SH?!!!!  it's clearly over for a possible KR -SA,  it's over, it's no longer possible for them

I'm with you. I think the HR/SA ship has sailed as well. Apparently, the writers and production crew changed from the original idea for the story. As @Elchan mentioned this drama has gone flat. I'm not sure what they have planned to keep the story going.

Hasn't been this bad since first amnesia plot. hopefully she and Oh HyunKyung has mild covid which last about 10 days to be symptom free.

Well Korea has not made COVID political like here in the states and not afraid to use the cheap and effective therapeutic drugs for those with the virus. Hopefully they can get back to work in the next couple of days.

OMG ends with YG remember everything. Preview : Sara is thrown out and they throw salt and water on her.  YG keeps a distance from DD. Kids hug YG with SaRa gone.

Well at least the SaRa cray cray is coming to a close. Heck I might even get to watch next week. Idoubt any episodes will get canceled either. They probably have enough footage to cut the next couple of episodes. However, the last couple of weeks of airing will probably be craziness for the cast and crew to finish filming and cutting.

I’ve stopped watching this. Will come back to watch the last ep. I’m so tired of this messy writing and out of the top plot lines.
I can’t muster any happiness for the main couple anymore, actually I don’t want them together. So, I’ll just leave it here.

Yeah I really think they killed the golden goose.

When YG does get his memory back, if I was DD, I would tell him come back and see me in a year just to make sure that scrambled brain of yours is stable.

@rolisrntex Yeah it was the same last week. Written preview didnt come until thursday more or less. I understand people, these are not really family drama plots but makjang daily drama plot. Honestly DD-YG and the kids keep me watching rest is meh

I get it. With the online reaction in Korea that I have seen. Most people were ok with the story until the Crazy Jo I'm having your child thing came along. That has really torqued some folks there. We'll really never know but I wonder how the KBS company switchboard has been doing the last couple of days?

You can really go too far with your audience. It seems KBS has found the limit here with the domestic audience. I have seen story lines take a sudden turn in daily dramas before where the audience got fed up. All of a sudden the particular offending plot was gone! Wrapped up in 5 minutes in 1 episode and never seen again. Don't want to hijack this thread talking about it but when that episode was over my wife remarked the network must have gotten the message.

  11. So just taking a peak at the KBS audience board and the comments are not pleasant. Many of them are people with children stating it is supposed to be drama for the whole family but they can't let their kids watch it anymore due to the content. Really questioning why the network is letting the inappropriate content continue to air during a family time slot. And....

There is not a written preview for the next episode yet. Think some editing and reshooting of scenes might be going on?

The worst part is the writer trying to justify not doing a paternal test before birth by having Dae Ran claim it's unethical, like seriously!?!?

This can only mean 1 of 2 things:

    1) The writer really thinks the audience is that stupid and will buy it

    or

    2) The writer has run out of ideas and is trying anything to keep drama in the story. (most likely)

There were other ways to keep the story going other than separating DD from the kids once more.  I know I said scenario 2 is most likely but at the end of 42 I really thought it was scenario 1 and the writer was showing contempt for the audience.

My only one was good because the main story was about Uee and her dad, so it was successful.

@rolisrntex just curious, what is the other drama you dropped?

It was called, "Suspicious Mother-in-Law." It was a SBS morning drama about 4 years ago. It had some good talent in it but the story got ridiculously stupid to the point I felt my intelligence was being insulted.

I watched My Only One and am watching this. My Only One was a lot better than this even though Uee spent most of the drama crying. The characters in that drama were much more likeable.

I watched that one too and yes although frustrating at times it was actually not a bad story.  However, this one gets worse every week. I liked it at first but now I am exhausted from all of the crying of the main characters and the kids. I'm just over it now.

I have only quit one other drama in the middle of it. This one is number two on that list.
