i am just curious i googled chu soong hun after his narrow loss to that other ufc fighter. wikipedia says chu sung hoon is yoshiro akiyama and his daughter listed as sarang akiyama. what then is the nationality of sarang, she was born in japan which makes her a natural born japanese .

i hope return of superman will survive the impending loss of the song triplets. it is for the best, they have shared with us a piece of their childhood and we should really thank them but at one point they should really stop. s ong il kook is first an actor and it is his real profession.. they should go to school live normal lives without fan fare and people fussing over them, in other words ;ive like any other normal kids. we'll surely miss them.

how come no new subbed epis are coming out? no subs yet for epi 31 and 32 and it's been nearly a week. well, maybe our d early bleoved subbers have been caught in the holiday rush.

i just viewed the subbed ep 107 and it did not disappoint. sarang looked so grown up with her mom . sarang is growing up to be as pretty as her mom and she is long limbed. as well i can see how she is enjoying the company of her mom because her dad is training hard for his fight. but alas, i read somewhere he lost that match.
daebak celebrated his birthday grandly and his sisters were so pretty as well. they enjoyed being made up for t he party.
the triplets are getting taller and slimmer and as always they are fun and a joy to watch.

one thing that i appreciate the triplets is how they have gtown up to be independent. in the beginning they wore diapers and did their thing right there and there just informing their dad afterwards. now they wear regular underwear and goes to the bathroom, relieve themselves on their own , flush the toilet , change clothes and underwear by themselves. what is the right age to wean them from wearing diapers. i have a 4 year old niece and she doesn't like wearing diapers anymore when she goes to her school. she started going to school last year. sarang on the other hand still wears diapers at age 5.
i am looking forward for the daughter of eugene and ki tae wong to appear though she is only 8 months old.

sad..sad.. but it is a fact that the triplets will really leave one day and that day is finally approaching. song il kook and his wife are wise parents, they know that it is the best for their sons to grow up in privacy and in a normal environment . song il kook is primarily an actor and it was a huge favor on his part to allow his sons to appear on a tv show which has given us fans all over the world extreme enjoyment. and we are happy to note that while they have been exposed on tv, they grew up so normal, no brattiness and feeling of being special above all other kids. give that credit to song il kook and his wife. they ve raised their sons very well up to this point. give credit also to the wife for maintaining her stance of not being seduced to bask in the limelight due to the popularity of her sons. she has been consistent in not giving in interviews(very much like the wife of daebak's mom) which cannot be said about other moms. remember there werre even complaints then of haru's mom 's often appearances on the show.

i just saw bits and pieces of return of superman ep 107. it was grand birthday celeb for daebak who picked a miniature football on his birthday. this made his dad so happy since daebak might follow n his footsteps. their mom was shown lengthier this epi and she really is miss korea. the twins were very, very pretty in this epi .really made up, how they love being put on with lipstick and powder. sarang spent more time with her mom ;
can't wait to see the subbed epi in the coming days

all right, ji jin hee s a great actor but he tries too hard to act cutesy here that it becomes irritating. it doesn't suit him. i would like the drama to move faster and get to the meat of the story.so many back stories to explore there's this back story of the father of ji eun stealing the patent of the drug developed by hg and dk's dad. how the twins would meet and what will that desperate girl who broke up dg and je 's marriage do, the brother in law and the crazy sister, the mom with alz, the doctor brother's love story on the side with dk. well perhaps in the next epis or so the story would move along faster.

@iclarakl i think ji jin hee is trying too hard in his role as je un. instead of playing it as naturally as possible he is trying too hard to look young and hip when he's already middle age(past 40). well, i guess a leading man role is hard to come by these days in the age of kpop idols etc. but he should act his age not a love struck teen ager.

i agree with htose who commented that this drama is dragging in the last epis or so. they're dwelling too much on the budding love affair of the ex wife and ex husband(hae gang and choi ji eun). it will only be a matter of time before hg realizes how he treated her during the last stages of their marriage. i cringe when the drama pictures them not as a mature cuple but like teen-agers in love. this drama reminds me of an old harrison ford move 'regarding hernry' a bout a lawyer who underwent a gun shot during a robbery and came back his life alltered . i want some real a ction in the next epis i.e. meeting of the mom with hae gang, meeting of hg and dk, hg getting an epiphany on what really happened between them , hw ji eun really treated her, ttc. e tc. enough of the near meetings etc., almost meets etc. the mom with alz is more interesting when she blurts out all those tidbits.
about the plan b of hg re: whistle blowerr, it's the role of the lawyer to prepare a defense in the best interest of the company but within the bounds of law. as one criminal lawyer outs it ' i defend bad people not because i want it but everybody needs a representation.

i caught bits and pieces of the return of superman ep 105 . as always the triplets kept us entertained with their antics as actors wannabees on their dad's current drama. i am happy for song il gook that he has returned to his real job as an actor. lest people forget he is first and foremost an actor and he has significant body of work (most popular is jumong).
the twins of lee dong gook never fails to entertain me with their facial expressions and antics. they may not be the prettiest girls on television but there's never a dull moment with them. happy to note that they're paying more attention to the appearance of the twins unlike in the past when they would appear dishevelled with those unruly curls. it may be more natural and realistic(after all this is a reality show) but it can be disconcerting. jion may be not interesting to others but she is always well groomed and dressed impeccably by her parents and so are the song triplets.
about ji on i think her entry to the return of superman was off. when she entered she wasn't speaking and not doing anything much. it was uhm tae wong who was doing the talking. how can you be entertained by that? it was an utw monologue and their portions about the life and times of utw. but when she started to talk she became more interesting and fun to watch. she should have entered the show at this time.

i just watch ep103 subbed and this is the final epi of ji ohn. ji ohn really left on a high note, able to talk and play with kids her age. she considers saebomi her sister her puppies her nephews and nieces. i am not a dog lover and i don't really relate. i thought she was already enrolled in kindergarten but is actually just on the waiting list. uhm tae woong commented on one of the requirements(2 parents with jobs, a big family). 'i will soon film , her mom is with the national ballet and saebomi just gave birth'. it has been a wise move too get out of the show jsut goes to show that he values being an actor and not making a career out of being in the show with ji ohn.
the triplets are jsut so adorable, and they have grown by leaps and bounds not jsut physically but emotionally as well. they are all intelligent and has a grasp of the value of money.
about the quintuplet family, i noticed the twins sula and su ah are well groomed with hair in place in this epi. that's good , while they maybe cute and lovable there a re instances where they are shown unkempt and untidy. the two older girls are not shown much since they go to school and into tennis and such but when they a re shown they s eem to have the added responsibility of looking after the younger siblings. are they enjoying their childhood ? it seems to me they are being saddled with too much responsibilities by their parents.at such a young age.

i salute the parents of jiohn on their plans of concentrating on their careers as reason for leaving the show. at least they cannot be accused of exploiting their daughter to make a living , ji ohn is leaving the show when she can talk and able to get along with other kids. remember how she can only speak 4 words clearly apa, oma, de and anyo? now we heard her voice though i never heard her sing.she mingles now with other kids unlike the earlier part of the series when she would withraw in the company of kids which even her dad find disturbing.
well, we should accept the fact that sooner or later some of the kids present(the twins, triplets and sarang) would leave the show to go to school or their parents would be so busy to appear in a tv show.
incidentally, this is not nitpicking but sometimes i find the twins sula and su ah unkempt and untidy, their hair are so unruly with all those curls . don't these kids have stylists? i have never seen the triplets , sarang or ji ohn untidy. i hated the clown pants of ji ohn then but she is kept well groomed by her parents same with sarang and most specially the triplets.

Ji on getting better. Although at first i didn't like her being so quite but now i think she can keep it up. It will be touchy moment when we watched the leaving episode of Uhm Family. And it will be moooooreeeeeew sad to send Song family off the season. The feeling probably like a groupies of Kpop send their idol to army. Sad.. but also proud. The big difference is we can't be sure when to see Daehan Minguk Manse appear again as Song triplets, because maybe in the future we can only see actor Song Manse, singer Song Minguk or scholar/adventurer Song Daehan.
I'm gonna miss Ji On and Song Triplets a lot.
If I hve kid, I'll chose someone like Ji Ohn instead. Since she's 'quite' easy to handle. Sarang also only child, bt she's very active and Haru is a bit 'talkative'. I cant imagine hving Seo Eon, Seola, and Manse as my kid. They will be overwhelming. Lol.
ji ohn is not easy to handle . in one of the latest epi 99, she was shown having a monumental tantrum and breakdown. it seems the uhm couple has this discipline problem with her, she eats while playing with her cellphone or ringring as she calls it. in the next minutes we s aw ji ohn crying, pleading, lying on the floor s tanding on the table until she passed out of exhaustion. i do believe she improved a lot in the last 2 months or so a s compared when she started. maybe the timing of her getting into 'the return of superman' was not right. she should have entered it at this time when she became more interesting. before she refused to play with kids her age and only played with her dogs. there was this scene she was shown swimming and having the spa with her dog while utw was having a monologue(she asks jiohn a question, he answers it by himself)..is it really healthy to take a swim in the same pool with your dog?

i jsut finished watching subbed epi 101 of ' the return of superman' and can't believe what sarang experienced. she did the zip line with her dad! isn't this a little too dangerous for a 5 year old child. she's jsut a baby, what if t hings go wrong. any sane parent would think twice if they want their child to experience this at that age. no wonder at the end of the ride she was swatting away the hand of her dad and clinging closely a t her mom.
ji ohn comtimues to improve and this time she's learning to get along with other kids. as uhm tae woong said, she doesn't have playmates in their neighborhood. maybe the combination of just being with her parents and their dogs contributed to her speech delay. utw even said she talks but if you talk very fast she won't understand. as i've said, she is going to leave the show on a high note.
the triplets are as usual adorable but at the end of the day, they;re jsut kids who miss their parents. i think they're still too young to join a military camp. one thing i noticed though is that the triplets are not using diapers, maybe because they can go to the bathroom on their own when they want to relieve themselves.

@adelineTew I didn't mean you personally, I said it in general, if you go to Youtube people post similar things which it's scary to me, the world is a messed up place at times, and so many sickos out there (not you again) and for parents showing their kids most intimate moments on TV with only a leaf to cover them, it is sick in a way, maybe they are a bit out of touch with what is going on in the world and exposing kids that way scares me, if it was just showing them being happy and playing and blurring some things maybe it would be better. I apologize if you felt offended by my comment I just meant it as a general comment not a personal attack. Some comments over the kids are not the best ones and we should choose our words when we talk about them, that is all I was saying plus my opposition to the show which is my choice, I haven't watched it only two shows and some gifs, so I can choose not to do it.
i agree with you re showing most intimate moments with only a leaf to cover them is not really in good taste. there was thiis earlier episode of ji ohn showing her on the throne moving her bowels. while i thought that it was good that she is being toilet trained, this scene will haunt and embarass her when she's a grown up. it's preserved on the internet forever there was this scene of minguk relieving himself on the toiklet urinal, with only a leaf covering his buttocks. while i applaud the parents for toilet training their kids, there are things which should not be seen by thee public. give them some privacy.
speaking chu sung hoon, is he a citizen of both japan and korea? google says his japanese name is yoshiro akiyama and listed daughter as sarang akiyama. he won the gold medal in judoka for south korea in 2001 and the god medal for japan in the asian games 2002.

is sarang not going to formal school yet? she's 5 years old, she should be in kindergarten already. if there's anyone who should graduate from 'the return of superman' it should be sarang because she is of school age. the twins, the triplets, the other twins and daebak can still have a few years left. i am not trying to push her out but at her age, it is about time her parents think of her formal schooling and a life away from the camera. in the case of ji ohn, her parents said they should concentrate on their jobs and work on weaknesses of ji ohn. i must admit, i didn't enjoy ji ohn the first 6 months b ecause she was practically doing nothing, her dad carry her around, annswers his own questions fielded at her. but when she began to talk which is only very recently, she b ecame fun. at least she's leaving on a high note. haru left because she wants to play without the cameras around . her parents were very smart about this. they did not exploit their child.

seol ri is losing it much like the way hae gang did in the earlier part of the drama. when you're in love there is no rhyme nor reason to all the things you do. when in love, you do everything to s atisfy your love even if you mislead, cheat or trick ji eun in the process. what's happening to her is the law of karma, you have to pay for your past deeds. didn't she disrespect hae gang before, never thought of her as his legal wife, what is her hold on him? she's not even his fiancee!
i can't understand why ji eun is not aware of their product udoxin. he could have easily ask somebody to get a file on this as presumably it has never been withrawn from the market.

if t is true that song il guk and his triplets will leave the show early next year, we'll ffeel sad but it is inevitable. they cannot be on the show forever. at some point they will have to go to s chool and concentrate n that. also song il guk is first and foremost an actor not jsut the father of the triplets. they have to live normal lives

i justt saw subbed ep 100 and i must say the triplets are really mature for their age. their parents has done a great job raising them. the twins seol ah and su-ah never fails to crack me up, they're really not that pretty but they cute. they can communicate well and coordinated with their fingers and hands(their use of chopsticks at their age). isn't a bmw automatic toy car a bit too much a gift for daebak, he is only 9 months old.
as for sarang's behaviior on the dinner table, it's a good thing the t eacher corrected her. it is similar to the huge tantrum displayed by ji ohn llast week though on a smaller scale. children sometimes lack focus when eating their meals. what i am impressed with the kids on return of superman is the absence of ipad, and other gadgets during the show(though we don't know what they do when not filming). as shown last week, ji ohn's parents decided to see a doctor when they couldn't curb her playing with her cellphone while eating. sometimes, ipads and other gadgets seem to be theier nannies.
speaking of ji ohn while i feel s ad she is leaving the show i think this is best for her. she and her parents has to work on some issues so she can grow up to be more well adjusted. right now, her parents are making an effort for her to be aorund her peers to improve her social skills. i also think that the timing of her entry to 'return of superman' was not right, she should have entered it at this point when she can talk rather than the time she entered it. now she is more interesting and enjoyable now unlike when she entered the show.. because like it or not,'return of superman ' is more for fun, enjoyment, light moments which can make you smile etc. and that display of tantrum last week is very disturbing.

if the triplets are to leave the show so be it. that's their parents call and i agree with them. they are entitled to privacy and they need to grow apart from the fame and lights of being tv stars at such a young age.. song il gook and his wife are smart they know what is best for their kids. they should grow up like their peers. song il gook should concentrate on his r eal profession, being an actor. maybe from time to time, they can show how they are now just llike what ji on's mom is doing on instagram. ji on seems happy, really tall for her age. i don't know if she is now in school. tablo is also posting current pics of haru also on instagram.
i look forwward to seeng rohee, she looked so cute when they showed the preview. she's so pretty!
