    Trust us when we say Korean dramas never disappoint in psychological thriller genre. For proof, we have Strangers From Hell, Hello Monster, Save Me, and Extracurricular among the best ones. And, the latest addition to the list A.K.A. our current obsession is Flower of Evil. It's about a craftsman and an alleged serial killer with anti-social personality disorder (Lee Joon Gi) who hides his past under a new identity as a perfect husband to a detective (Moon Chae Won.)

    If the plot intrigues you, wait until we tell you the other reasons why you should prioritize it on your must-watch list. Here you go:

    1. Episode endings are real cliffhangers. As you all know, K-dramas are unpredictable—much more for Flower of Evil whose storyline is very new to our ears. We have no idea what's going to happen next and then comes the twisted final scene of an episode leaving us gripping on our seats and holding our breaths. It's frustrating as it only airs twice every week, but, at the same, keep us waiting for more.

    2. Pacing is fast and smart. Despite it leaving us hanging every chance it gets, here's what's good: It's a fast-paced story but not so much that it looks rush hence creating loopholes. It's just enough to answer one question after another and later making new smart turns to set us once again in confusion and refrain us from jumping to conclusions.

    3. You'll fear and pity the villanous protagonist. Joon Gi plays psychopath Baek Hee Sung in the drama and the role is one to be scared of. He lacks emotions, is impulsive, and has a delinquent tendency. Who knows what he can do or who he's going to kill? But the series give us insight into his head and his past making you understand where he's coming from.

    4. Female lead is not weak. Chae Won's character as Cha Jiwon is being deceived by now-husband Hee Sung. She loves and trusts him as he comes off as an ideal partner. But credits to Jiwon for not letting that stop her from thinking, being suspicious, and getting into action. We stan a woman with a mind of her own. We won't be surprised if she gets ahead of Hee Sung in the next episodes.

    5. It's not your ordinary romance. Yep, there's still the touch of romance and we can't overlook that considering the onscreen chemistry of Chae Won and Joon Gi and their characters' touching backstory. However, what keeps the couple unconventionally interesting is how they're going to keep the smile while facing each other and how they're going to handle the truth behind each other's back. Is it possible for them to get a happy ending?

    Stop wasting your time thinking what K-drama to watch next. This is sign. Watch Flower of Evil now while the thrill is just getting started.

    woahhh wait! this came from myx abscbn? as in? i am very happy now because i want this drama to be more well loved in my country . i want them to watched it and not focused only on romance. ( lol ) . do filipinos now watched FOe? i asked some and they complain..

     they want it to be on netflix. but they know it is good based on peoples recommendation and review.  so they wish to make it as a netflix show soon ( can that happen? ) .some are not yet over to the other drama ( of yeji ) ....

    hi!:) i have some questions... would it be okay to ask here? :) thank you!  need some clarifications.

    1. joongi was the first one casted here right? so , the director gave him the script to look and study? or the namoo chose joongi to try the role ( sorry i dont know how casting do ):) 

    2. how chaewon was casted? is it by joongi request or chaewon is already the main lead ? 

     

    * got confused of what joongi said that she asked chaewon if he will get the role or not. :)

When it's her turn, LJG looked at her once then bowed his head as if, " Ok." But when KHN turn, he looked at him then smiled and laughed. 

    That was before but now, NOT ANYMORE... It becomes the opposite. Whatever she said, he listened attentively as if it is an interesting one. Same with her, maybe even the "corny/lame" jokes, she will laugh loud. Hayyyy.... Love really moves in mysterious ways... :heart:

    For now, I am going to do a monologue. Before I go to sleep, I will linger for a little while. :rolleyes:

Knowing that his best and closest for all his life is his father

    I laugh at iu the time she keeps ong giggling until joongi find it funny and he pat her shoulder. Maybe to remind her that she is in fanmeeting. Hahaha

    The part of what she thjnk about him , jieun was startled and shy till she makes an excuse. Then she saw haesoo cosplay

    The really most funny part here is IU keeps on complimenting joongi and she forgot the translator. She is so nervous haahah what a cutiepie. For sure joongi falls more from her. He cant stop laughing.

    Next is a little silence.. I mean jieun giggling then smiled while looking at joongi then joongi stare at her then they both like lil shocked coz they stare for a second.. Its soooooooo cuuuuttteee!!!

    I think there is something going on bet. Iu and joongi in cosmo mag. Its like he is making sure if his feeling is right. Ir there is something that he might avoid iu for a meantime.. 

    Btw, joongi is a flirtatious one.. I read somewhere here if joongi is a jealous type, as i remember he might be because what he wants to a woman is apprecation and attention to him, only him. Always. And the woman must also understand his work

    I thought I saw a very different Ji Eun on that day. Is this the same girl who have many reservations when it comes to guys? It felt like she had no wall to hide from because JG already managed to win her heart. She was very ecstatic, like a girl seeing her crush. She was practically glowing that night. I loved how she reacted when JG came from her behind. When she was positioning herself, she looked like she can't wait to do the epic umbrella scene with him. And she was smiling although they were supposed to be serious. LJG was so damn serious as Wang So there but she was all giddy and smiling widely for pete's sake! Haha. I love this girl so much. :wub:

    When he went to her upstairs , she cant wait to see him , then when joongi stares at her , she smiled widely, when he offer his hand, she hold it immeedddiatelyyyy without second thinking. ( or maybe this is fanservice included lol) , when the time he compliments her she smiled again, then the start of their talktime is where IU is different... She keeps on giggling, laughing. Dont know what to say, rattling, smiling , she almost forgot the interpreter coz of too much compliment to joongi, she makes jokes she is sooooo HAPPY ...HAPPY HAPPY....

    @crazyshell thank you for the translation, and yes i also love when Joon Gi said he like "Good Day" and save for next time, i feel too bad for him...when he said he want to see Ji Eun as audience, i knew it's he's real wish to see her concert badly. And i love also when Ji Eun said it's happy ending in heart, i think there's other meaning ^^ which only her can feels that happiness. For me, i'm still not satisfied, why they should cut the ending if there's happy ending T_T don't you guys want to see real modern Wang So in that scene? I still hope for that. This is really something cruel they'd gave to us, for my entire life i think...it keep haunted me.

    maybe the director really left that kind of ending ... coz the happy ending is between the two... hehhe

    That song made actor Song Seung-heon a fan.

    Also, I know some people think this song was probably inspired by the initial feeling for you know whom but it wasn't. She made the song before meeting him for the first time. She still had the long hair (Lee Soon Shin's type) while recording it.
