Can you just imagine the level of withdrawal symptoms KRW and PSH are going through? The lived and breathed these characters for almost 3 months! I think PSH deals with it by detaching herself completely from the entertainment world for a while. KRW, on the other hand, seems to deal with it by getting back to work.

@Kelly86 i actually love punch !!! Lucky for me, I am into these legal political thrillers ! I have a feeling I will also love PSH new movie the one where she will be playing a lawyer ! I actually have a love hate relationship with KRW character in Punch ! Park Jung Hwan and Hong Ji Hong are complete opposite characters and made me appreciate KRW versatility and ability as an actor as he definitely showed off his incredible acting range here
I am gonna continue watching Punch after I am done re-watching Doctors ! I have really bad Doctors withdrawal syndrom !!!

Yes, i agree. i ship them so hard too... but of course its their work and they give their best at work... the fact that almost everyone thinks they have something going on means they have done a wonderful job in portraying their roles.... it would be a bonus if they really do end go from reel to real.... id be the happiest...

IT IS SUCH A HEARTWARMING DRAMA THAT TUGS ON THE HEART AND JUST MAKES YOU REALIZE ITS OK TO BE HUMAN, its not always happy perfect but ever changing, ever growing and evolving.
Doctors may have its flaw as drama but its best moments is beeing able to see each character growth.. there are little moments of frustration but over all im so satisfied that hye jung and ji hong are such mature couples that they talk there problems out and thats what sets them apart from other k drama couples... their love is built on trust, respect amd communication that it gives little room for misunderstandings....
IM TRULY GONNA MISS YOU DOCTORS...I DONT WANNA SAY GOODBYE YET!!!!

come on not every show is perfect sometimes there's gonna be lapses in logic and judgement thats why its a drama..even our real life is not perfect!
watching a drama just to nitpick every possible detail and flaws, is just too stressful.. and making a mountain out of a molehill just so they could bring a drama down is just too pathetic. the focus of this drama is healing not psh nails alright if she did wrong then alright they forgot that one little flaw, no one's gonna die because of it. its just so shallow to think that it distracted them from watching, were you focusing on her nails all this time then? i have come across tons of drama with lapses too and sometimes i just most of the time i just laugh about it.

I miss you guys! i have only managed to catch up since there is work, but i have been silently reading your recaps and thoughts.
Once again our OTP made me fall in love with them even more. My adoration for these two hightens everytime because of the love, trust and support they have for each other. They have misunderstandings and fights, but im glad that they find the time to think of each other opinions, even if its not something they personally agree.
I love the talk between JH and the Husband because really we only realize how important things are when were on the verge of losing them. Often times word are left unsaid, because some may believe that actions speaks lounder than words, but sometimes saying how you feel out loud can be reassuring and gives a person a sense of security because actions can sometimes be misleading or people could interpret it wrong way. i commend ji hong for saying the ILY because its a difficult word when you really mean it... it can be cliche and cringy. hehehe, but what the husband said to him was a wake up call that you cant just be all actions sometimes you need to say it too because even the smartet person can be stupid when it comes to love.
And finally Kang Soo!!!! why my poor puppy? He must be in a terrible state now, because when you're a doctor and a patient, you cant be in denial about it, its hard knowing your own situation but not having the power to cure yourself. because often times in the medical field you preach to your patients to stay healthy, avoid these and that but in the process they fail at taking care of themselves too.

i personally think that ji hong wasnt aware of hye jung working at the same hospital, the emergency situation on the plain was the catalyst that made him return earlier, if that wasnt the case i think even if he arrived in korea as planned he will atill use his vacation time and therefore might not have met hye jung earlier, i remember when his talk with kth after the operation if he would like to start work but then declined because he still want his remaining vacation days, if it werent for the emergency, he would not have met hye jung earlier on and could have just spent his remaining break with his father or something, but meeting hye jung after 13 years of course he had to act right away.
he made it a priority to interact with hye jung and collect information about the happenings in her life, also with hye jung misunderstanding his civil status, he straightly cleared that away too...
but then again its hard to know unless writer nim will shed some of the past backstory.

Because it's a cliché type of story ? I'm sorry, but even if all dramas were cliché,there's always that one or two things that make it charming, I for example dropped DOTS, at ep 3, I know it has tons of fans in the international community and monster ratings in Korea, but I didn't find what I liked about it so I gave up, easy as that, I didn't go to every article about it just to put it down saying it's cliché and a love story and whatnot.
Doctors is not a bad drama, some will find it boring yes, some will find amazing yes, and some will hate it and others will like it, but please, just because your favorite drama didn't get the good ratings you believed it deserves, don't try to paint doctors as a terrible drama with terrible cast and actors, and illogical twists and turns just to feel better about your bias drama failing, it's childish and immature.
And also I have a question for all of you if you could please answer me, I didn't watch that many medical dramas wether Korean or other, but why is it that I always find some comments saying that these characters are just " cosplaying as doctors" and they don't do their jobs properly and they keep flirting etc, I mean as far as I can see it, they are doing their jobs properly, maybe the only time I was mad at them as doctors is when YD wanted HJ to do that surgery in ep 5 just to prove she isn't capable, so what are the standards for actually doing a doctor's job properly in a drama ? Watching them for an entire episode doing rounds, diagnosing, doing operations and such ? Watching every detail of that ? I wouldn't get close to any medical drama if that was the case, I see enough doctors in my life, and I don't need a drama to focus purely on that. I hope one of you guys might answer me, because I am genuinely curious.

yes, definitley right. they're looking for something to blame because there bias isnt doing good in ratings or to just simply show how superior their bias drama is. i can understand constructive criticism because no drama is without its flaws and weakness. if all dramas were perfect then we would all be squealing and there would be no point of discussion. i understand that some may like and dislike a drama but to continuously bash a drama is just annoying.
thats why i never like comparisons,when some started comparing doctors to other dramas i reckoned there'd be comment wars. if they cant like a drama thats fine then be mature about it and let others who love it have their peace and not go around spouting such insults. but i guess some are just uncontrollable and take pleasure in seeing others retort to their hurtful words.
while otherS may find doctors boring i find it heartwarming. i love the little tidbits of thoughts they have at the start and end of each episode, they're like life lessons. i love that ji hong and hye jung have communication and understanding at the core of their relationship. i love how they face conflicts head on because then they seem like a normal couple, because most of the times the OTP only get there happy ending up to the last episode of the show when it can only be resolved if they actually just tried to sit down and talk it out like what normal couples would actually do. i love how they are supportive of each other, i love the side characters, yes even seo woo...im wishing her a happy ending as well. (MH AND SJ not much because they're just hateful but again that means they are doing their job pretty well) everytine they get me in emotional department, they make me feel warm and fuzzy.

Being a new KRW and PSH fans, I have been googling and reading articles on them. I read that KRW was given a good review by movie critics although the movie GB itself was somewhat lacking in the storyline ( just based only on what I read generally) and at times he shone even more than the other lead actor. Reviews also commented that the bed scene was actually unnecessary.
A testament of how great and talented an actor is when he is able portray and convince us the viewers that he IS the character he is playing and be able to do so with every different dark, happy characters, which just based on my reading, KRW has been able to do ! KRW may not be as popular as other Hallyu stars but there are people who appreciate talent more than popularity ( and not just good looks alone)
To keep that motivation and drive and be better is something to be applauded. As actors, you need to step up your game as there are just too many of them around ! Versatility, flexibility is important. Acting in different genres and challenging characters will definitely hone your acting skills further. I think this reflects KRW's maturity and his drive and his attitude towards acting.
I think both PSH and KRW are blessed to act in this drama together. Not to discredit the other actors she has acted with but KRW is her acting sunbae, mature in the industry and an actor whose talent had been recognized in SK, she can learn so much from him to elevate her acting skills even further.
In the BTS, we can see moments of KRW guiding her. Isnt that great ? Both are learning from each other ! and she is only 26 ? Imagine how she would be when she is in her 30s if she keeps challenging herself ? So, I personally think PSH fans should be prepared to see her take up more mature and challenging roles ( Im not talking about bed scenes here !). It is high time anyways, she cant be playing the cutesy full of angst kind of characters ! So whoever thought of this pairing, you definitely have got a bullseye on this (at least to me personally !)
I am also hoping for that action or thriller movie with PSH and KRW too ! I wanna see those high kicks and absssss
With love lines on the side ! Hahaa..dont wanna waste that sizzling chemistry we see in Doctors yes, it is quite racy and provoking, the whole scene was really...something...i cant judge about the whole movie though because i didnt really watch everything because it was angsty and violent for me.
i really hope too that psh keeps challenging herself and take on more diverse roles, she is already good but she can be much much better and its so nice to see krw mentoring her and giving her points on her acting so that she can broaden her abilities.
id love for them to work in a movie like what krw said they could do action... with some wink wink scene... lets make use of that chemistry.hahaha.

In that moment, they were truly in love as Ji Hong and Hye Jung.
yes, i think so too. it definitely helps that his a veteran actor because psh can rely on him much more and just let herself focus on the character with little adjustments because krw can definitely match her pace or give much more when needed.
not that her previous co stars arent good because they are, its just that now with krw more mature and more experienced then psh cAn let go and worry less.

I was like " why why why, noo please some other actor not him" , the reason was i didn't wanted her to be paired with someone who has done such things. I admit i was immature !! Then slowly i started falling for JH which was portrayed by KRW without knowing! I like the way he treats HJ, i like how he respects her decision, i like how he supports her from behind, i like how he is always there for her, i like how he sometimes is angry with her and forgives her easily, i can keep on telling why i like him hahah..His character JH is something which touched my heart maybe because i am girl . Maybe because i need a guy whom i want to be like him ,so when i saw his character i totally fell in love with him. I am totally happy now that KRW and PSH was paired together, thankgod!
Now once the drama ends i don't know if i will follow him because he wont be JH anymore..I know i'm crazy !! I have to admit that first time i fell in love with the character than a actor!! So i really don't know if i am fan of KRW or JH hahah..
I am a fan of both, but definitely more towards psh. i have watched mostly all of her dramas and krw a few like MLB, and which star are you from. This pairing never even crossed my mind maybe a little bit but maybe kind of unlikely so when news came out i was like, really psh and krw? i wondered if this was a good pairing, if they will have chemistry.
ah,but then again unexpected things come from unlikely places and pairing, sometimes what you consider weird can turn out to be beautiful. and indeed i love love the chemistry. its just translates beautifully of the screen even their stares. in my opinion this is psh best pairing to date... its makes you root for the OTP so much...

scenes like that would to much for jihye hehehe...i wouldnt be surprise if hye jung karate chops ji hong if he ever do that but ji hong is too gentlmanly to ve like that...but i wouldnt mind raising the skinship ahhaha...

DOCS reminds me of why I fell in love with Kdrama years ago. It delivers a story about human and show us that a drama doesn't need over the top conflict and/or comical villain to make it interesting.
It fits perfectly well with Ji Hong's perspective that the dichotomy of good and evil cannot be applied to human. Human's are complicated, it's not always black and white and there are always backstory of everyone even the evil ones.
Seo Woo is annoying, but it came from an insecurities and crushed confidence after meeting Hye Jung
Seo Woo dad is greedy, but it came from insecurities for studying in a third grade uni and feels the need to accomplished in business to make up for that.
Hye Jung's dad confessed that he was insecure because Hye Jung's mom was smart (she left uni for abuji); that insecurities led to affair and the guilt led to abusive behaviour
In Joo's act towards Hye Jung 13 years ago was basically immature and a temporary insanity kind of thing. She was actually okay, but being a privileged girl all through her life she was used to get whatever she wanted. Luckily she outgrew that.
Seo Woo grand dad, stabbed his friend on the back for the excessive love he has for his family.
Stepmother... well... she's just plain crazy!

Can I share my thoughts about the negativity?
DOCS may not everyone cup of tea, it lacks conflict and for some, that can be considered boring plus there's this controversy about the other drama being ended prematurely. People need to vent their anger somewhere and somehow they blame DOCS for it just because it has high rating; and they need to bring something down to lift themselves. I know it's upsetting, but please don't let it ruin your mood.
I always thought that the higher we climb, the stronger the wind. So the fact that the wind is strong right now, means DOCS is in a good place.
My suggestion is to avoid those place, let them bash DOCS to their heart content. It doesn't have a positive feedback to us and would not be a good use of our time to read those or even respond. And I also believe that a bad publicity is still a publicity; the comments are only created more buzz and these days those are what's important.
So Come on!! It's Saturday!! Cheer up!! If @yongpal's theory is correct, we'll be having a preview today. Yeee Haaww!!

yes thats true, its actually quite exasperating at times reading those comments, its even ridiculous at times because even if other dramas or things are the main topic, psh and krw name gets drag, especially psh.
thats why i learn to avoid them because some are just trolls... and some are just too. i only end up angry so better ignore or avoid them.
