IU was 15 years old and it was her debut / first time in stage (8 years ago). Nobody knew her but while she was singing her ballad (song: MIA) some idol's fangirls were shouting to her (with a big level of hate): "You Pig!!!", "Get lost!!" and more. You can hear those curses at 1:12. Irrational hate just because she was chubby.

 

 

Those curses are no different from the destructive comments of sites like NATE. I do think the majority (if not all) of destructive comments towards celebrity girls are from girls related to the K-POP fandoms, being harsher towards idol girls because for them actors are above idols/singers (nonsense). Are girls and women full of prejudices. Her first album didn't do well, so IU's agency decided to go for cute songs and she began doing covers of popular songs with her guitar. Got public recognition as a talented girl and became popular quite quickly for her music and cute image. I imagine that a lot of those girls became jealous of her sudden success and by the amount of handsome singers and actors saying: "She is so cute", "So pretty", "My ideal type".  Comments from haters saying: "Don't think you are pretty, you ****" began to increase. The snakes were reproducing. IU is really strong, she don't want to loose. Even if she got hurt by comments that have damaged her self esteem, she won't be seen defected. And that's what those girls hate the most: that she is not crying, that she is not begging for their acceptance, that she still in the top. That's why they have to create multiple accounts (60 comments per hater in last scandal, based on IP? *in question mark because I am not sure about that IP info...I read it once in 2015) and make stories about her personality when in reality there is no video that can proof she doesn't have a nice one.

It can be true that they are only friends.  As far as I know, In the case of Nicky Wu and Liu Shi Shi, they developed feelings after the drama and barely has contact in 2 years to know if their feelings were real or not. IU's rumors with Lee Joon Gi are basically that they are dating and that she left Kiha to be with him. Sincerely I don't think is the case.

I have been reading comments on other places. People are too sensitive over the breakup news. Suddenly out there, are many people who cares about IU's broken heart and her "4 years relationship" (believing the korean article's relationship's length and the "one week ago") giving destructive comments to shippers (IU/Lee Joon Gi or IU/JungKook or IU/whoever) with richard simmons words (I didn't say a bad word, just typed richard simmons hahaha ). Probably the same people who dragged her over her last scandal only to channel this time the hate towards shippers. Well, at least that is better than a direct hate towards IU/KIHA/JOONGI/ETC. Please, don't get involve in fights with haters that are in fan's costumes. Don't say bad words towards them either because that is playing the hate game. Of course, not every person is a hater but for sure many of the commenters who feel bad about the shipping aren't fans. Many people love to be ignorant trying to impose their belief over another user based on one k-article using richard simmons words, when at the end of the day they almost know NOTHING.  At least here, many of the shippers are following daily activities and know that IU seems happy lately and it seems she broke long time ago (months). A TRUE FAN KNOWS THAT. 

IU met her ex for the first time around October 2013 and officially confirmed been dating almost 2 years in October 2015, so she didn't have 4 years. I don't know if she really broke officially with him one week ago... I can't confirm that, but my uaena heart feels that she broke long time ago based on her behavior. Anyways, no breakup is easy and probably both parts (IU and ex) felt sad with the decision. A decision that is made for the better. Wishing happiness for IU and her ex on their separate paths. 

I want to say please don't tag IU or LJG in things that aren't related to BOTH (Moon Lovers) because it will bring unnecessary hate.

I don't want her in dating scandal, nor LJG. She will have new album this year and I don't want something similar like the hell of 2015 (after the news that she was dating Kiha were out).

The dating news were revealed around October 7th 2015, next day IU and Voldy confirmed and talked nicely about each other/relationship to their respective fans via written messages. Short after (that day or next day) Voldy followed her on instagram but she didn't follow him back and I think he unfollowed her quite quickly (LOL). At that time, I found his behavior hilarious and inmature but probably my mind is tricking me in the unfollowing thing. So don't trust me that much in the last part. As far as I know, IU is not following him.

I have mixed feelings. I don't know if I really want IU in the upcoming LJG's fanmeeting of Hong Kong.  As far as I know, that stupid weibo war is between C-fandoms (the one of LJG and the one of IU). In 2015, C-fans of Kim Soo Hyun (who were the majority in the fanmeeting) turned off their lightsticks when was IU's turn to sing in The Producer's fanmeeting. That was disrespectful and by that time (correct me if I am wrong) fanwars between the 2 C-fandoms existed. IU and KSH are FRIENDS since Dream High 1 (2011), fans know that and yet those things happen. Of course, not every chinesse fan are like that...nice and respectful fans also exist.

I know many hate SBS...but what I like of SBS is the ammount of BTS they give. IU's other dramas were with KBS and I never see nothing like this ammount of BTS.

Thanks to the BTS, we were able to see how wonderful was IU and LJG relationship offscreen. SBS did mistakes, but after all the deleted scenes weren't their fault.

Thanks for sharing it.  I saw this before but forgot completely her words. Is from 2013, but applied to JoonU...what IU says is so on point that I am a bit surprised. Was even mentioned moles in common.
