Actually I reacted to the lyrics before listening to his cover... I was laughing through the whole song at his out of tune and off tempo singing, but at some point it was laughing in despair as he certainly sounded like he was crying. 

Can someone come up with a theory? I can't wrap my head around it just yet. In delulu land, YuZhou have confirmed their love back in March and should feel somewhat secured now. ZZ even showed his defiant attitude in his IG post admist the ban fiasco. They can still interact privately online. Then where did this heart wrenching sentiment come from? Don't tell me it has nothing to do with Love.

I think eye bags and puffy eyes need to become perpetual in fashion now... I can totally relate to this. In real life I'm very detached and intimidating; I used to have this girlfriend who was so charming and would pull me into any talks with strangers during social events. It felt like a blissful juggling game where we'd just be a cheeky and mysterious couple that enjoyed pulling others' legs. Navigating social interactions had never been more effortless. Indeed, it's a blessing to have someone like that in your life. Reminds me of the fact that in a family the wife would be the one to take care of socialising with neighbors and stuff.  But I have to give JY more credit for his ability to actually handle his 'idol' image for fans alone during times of sorrow.

If this is true then I don't think there's any cause for concern. Just let nature take its course. I think ZZ knows what to do from now (or does he?). I think he has a gift with words; he may want to become a lyricist, or a writer of something cryptic or a satirical piece. He's multitalented artistically but this can also be his downfall. Since I enjoy the more clever and professional side to his personality, I hope he can properly develop one or a few of his artistic talents to the fullest. At the moment I can't appreciate him as an artist yet. Nothing is more painful than having a bunch of talents in many fields and ending up mediocre in all of them.

1. Zhou, Song, Wen along with their staff went to ktv and rent a room for partying after the FM (as in photo).
2. Several hours later, Yu arrived with his own staff and rent the opposite room.
3. Half an hour later, Yu finally brought his beer and sauntered over to Zhou-team's room, supposedly to join the 'neighboring team' in partying.
4. From Zhou-the-neighbor's room the sound from the karaoke came blasting, with lights flashing, as if in a discotheque. The restaurant staff claimed to have seen them dancing together.
5. Several hours later, Zhou went to the restroom, his face really red [he must have been really wasted; later acc had it that he was really drunk with Song and Wen]
When Zhou went to restroom, Yu came back to his room [after abandoning his own staff/team to join another team's party; gotta question if he felt any remorse??]
6. After that, Yu went to restroom; at the same time Zhou team left. When they went past Yu team's room, Zhou asked for permission to take a look into the room. Anyway, Yu had left for the restroom already.
7. About 10 minutes later, Yu also left.
Voila. C'est fini. 
Conclusion: Yu is so young Yu must have fun with friends!! Yu has to karaoke with friends!! It's no longer work hours; no more acting gals!!! It's party time!!! Is it okay with you Chinese fans? [ok, drama stops here].

@ximichem Hi did you have the 3 vids of JY flipping ZZ and 2 other people in their entirety? I just want to marvel at JY's prowess as a martial artist; his movements were so swift. I never knew one can totally lock someone with one's knees, the technique he employs a lot. I could only find the edited videos from Team Nao Tan. Thanks much.

Here's a brief thought on JY's physical attraction to ZZ. I imagine that JY finds ZZ's body beautiful. Yeah he has to like ZZ's face already, but when it comes to intimate scenes, being appreciative of your partner's body is the catalyst for *cough, adrenaline pump. Sure, ZZ doesn't have JY's kind of absolute perfection frame, large shoulders with narrow waist, but he has: 1) very slender build, 2) muscle definition, the type that is very attractive and manly, 3) perfect smooth and firm chest, 4) a bit (lot) more body hair.
For some reason, I've always had the feeling JY is self-conscious of his 2) and 3). If you compare JY's and ZZ's muscle definition, you'll see that ZZ's is the model-type bulking up, whereas JY's is the sports-type. The former is supposed to look more aesthically appealing simply because it's more toned and less ripped (more suitable for high fashion?). Also, the quality of ZZ's torso skin is also different from JY's. It's tauter and more manly. To me, JY's chest looks quite feminine.
This leads me to think, JY noticed ZZ's body and its differences compared to his, with some qualities that he appreciates in a man's body, and became attracted.

Edit: I find myself thinking hard of how to actually organize our gathering on Uranus... I want it to be thrilling like a Mafia game. Needs a game that creates a lot of suspense and guesswork regarding each addicts' info divulged - personality traits, word choice or, when we're all gathered on Uranus, physical movements when someone post something. Btw can I just freely express myself here? I didn't take it seriously hence no irritation on my part, or joy. A sudden announcement with little consideration of the thread's nature like that will likely lead to an outcome more reasonable and complying with everyone's wishes and rationale, unless we were in an authoritarian state.

The main problem with this thread is the pages are piling up so quickly with seemingly unrelated content? As long as we don't have to move back and forth or decide which thread to post on, shipping vs drama, I don't mind moving. It could be a fresh start if we absolutely have to move. We can consider it an upgrade to higher cloud. But if we can make the 'government', 'authority' and whatnot here reconsider it, it's all the better.

Hmm, I'm not sure I agree  I would appreciate it if someone make a conscious effort to talk to me when I'm having my great time alone. Or just come next to me, smile and nod and raise their glass (introverts usually do this to introverts). I don't usually view it as intrusive; after all, I'm at a party, I would expect to be approached at some point. That, as long as the other party isn't a bore who is so concerned with small talk and whatnot; I'd find a smooth way out easily enough otherwise.

I don't think JY should be called socially extroverted; just a charming, self-assured (sometimes not), open and nonchalant (sometimes not) introvert. Sometimes he got his feathers ruffled a bit in uncharted waters but who won't; he bounces back quickly enough. I'm sure he'll be a veteran soon without loosing his charm and innocence. There will always be the quality of innocence about him that nothing can take away. I'd say he's an ISFP (excuse me!).

Haha, I feel a tad embarassed now. I posted 5 posts in total yesterday from before the event until the end. It was a first time watching something live with other people so was a bit excited. Generally I don't like posting so much since I'm here to read mostly (and since I'm already emotionally invested, I can't afford to be intellectually invested too, need it to work). It's true that in the past 200 pages or so the content concentration is diluted. Promise I'll go back to lurker mode if I don't have anything to contribute.

All this in a span of a month or two -- it is amazing, exhausting for both him and us! 

I feel that his "team" is not much of a team... assistants, helpers, coordinators, bodyguards. I really don't think the purple-haired lady is his agent per se (who markets and promotes him and selects his jobs for him) - more like middle-person/liaison who knows how the entertainment industry and its logistics work. Agents also don't really follow their artists everywhere on such a punishing schedule -- they need to do agenty things behind the scenes, right?

My conclusion is that JY, whose background is (truthfully) portrayed as being under-educated, restless and with no solid career path in the past, is actually someone with a keen and innate sense of the business and how he could fit in on his own terms. And he works hard (for someone who likes to sleep and be alone, he hasn't really had that luxury much and yet he soldiers on). More than once, he has also mentioned that he is someone without back up and support, so he basically has to continue moving forward as there's no looking back or relying on someone to have your back. That's courage. And finally, he's sincere. As almost everyone has observed, he shows his feelings on his face. He boasts about his looks and his sexiness and talent and whatnot (which I think is an introvert's defence mechanism). He also blurts out the least PR things (like telling everyone at the previous press conference that he has no idea what he is supposed to do in his new program when asked about it on stage). Anti-fans and people who are jealous or wary of his rise may find fault with his straightforwardness, but who truly does not admire sincerity tempered with insecurity and humility?

I think I've just talked myself into liking him more. >.<|||

Excellently put. I'm secretly hoping that JY can explore and find a new, unorthodox path to success, without being pulled into a vortex of influence that he risks losing himself. Internal showbiz politics can't be avoided, but if it's him, he may be able to take steps and bend it enough to suit him. This kinda reminds me of being a freelancer in an office political corporate. You have to sustain some 'damage', but you get to maintain a certain degree of autonomy and freedom of choice. Bad analogy I know.

Edit: And as a freelancer, if you have the skills and the network, you end up never short of contracts and making even more than regular employee and can even build your own empire, your own rules later.
