Actually, it was GH's fault that he didn't do the *study* before hand. He could have had it his way if he's done the preparation. In this scene, when BLY said " I'm scared of pain," he was already GIVING IN (no more mental barrier, he is just afraid of physical pain.) GH, all you had to do was to say: "I know trick, it won't be painful at all

Don't worry too much about the immediate rankings. They constantly fluctuate. I just voted again a few minutes ago and JY is #1 and Wz is #3. All we can do is keep on voting and hope for the best.
From my observation JY seems to get more votes during Asian and Oceanic time while WZ gets more during EU and NA time.

Their duet would always be nice. Thou, I think "Walk Slowly" was written mainly from BLY's point of view so I really appreciate Timmy's solo. It sounds a bit sentimental for GH, don't you think?
Lines like "Stop saying that I don't understand," "stop saying that I can't be hurt" or " I won't say it because I had feel too silent" are like words screaming from BLY's heart but he couldn't bring himself to say them out loud. CJD must have input on both opening and ending OST because their lyrics strongly relate to the novel.
PS: If everyone sees I constantly edit my posts, it is not because I'm changing their contents. I'm a hasty typer who has OCD about correcting my own grammar....

. Regarding other acting opportunities for actors, I think that other jobs would actually enhance their second season both in season success and acting quality. I wouldn't get too nervous about it I mean this Addicted series isn't just one job they had - it is job that has and will play a significant role in their lives and future success. The relationship that was developed between Johnny and Zhouzhou through such a pivotal opportunity will continue to a significant relationship to the both of them. Just like how you will always remember your 'firsts' I think this is the same thing. I believe their meeting and collaboration opened their eyes to a lot of things within themselves and acting wise. This series has brought many 'firsts' for them so do not worry guys !

Sorry I couldn't here the tune very clearly. But do check out The Wing. It is the Brokeback mountain soundtrack someone showed me a few day ago. It is a long song and multiple guitar riffs in the series are taken from this song.

PS: The official channel's sub is kinda funny. I wonder who did it. When Gu Hai answered Shu Hui's call in episode 15, there is a comment in the sub saying: "Yes Yes Gu Hai slays that b**ch." It made me laugh. And then when Lou Yin told Shu Hui he didn't mind the call but someone else did, a comment in the sub said: "yes b**ch, please get out of the way." LOL

So Johnny seems slimmer after season 1. I think it is intentional, you need slim body to fit in formal suit Plus, he and Zhou Zhou will look more comparable in build which is needed for season 2.

So season 1 seems to be in our recent time. Does that mean the 8-year time skip would be in the future ??? Like 2020???

Ah background! Classic reason for people being snotty to another person. How could I ever forget that? Glad you pointed that out.
In Ep 13, GH mentioned that Papa Yi and Aunt Zhou should get marry, then there won't be enough space and LY will have to move to live with GH. Then there were a talk between BLY and his dad. Both scene are kinda rushed but I guess that's what they have to do to fit in other important stuff (bed scene, anyone :P) Hopefully with better budget and longer episode, season 2 will be more polished.
Being selfless is a good trait but it comes with a per-requisite which is self-reliant. Despite his calm and collected appearance, BLY doesn't appear to me as a strong, independent individual. That's probably why he left after the car accident, realizing he is not ready for GH"s love ( I don't think he is ready either.....)

I'm still unable to quite put my finger on Gu Hai's cousin. Why does he behave like that? Being so rude all the time to Bai LuoYin. He's fine with Gu Hai but with Bai LuoYin... The only plausible explanation that I could think of is probably jealousy. Jealousy because he's close to Gu Hai and Gu Hai suddenly has another "brother" besides him and of course he can see that Gu Hai is much closer and attached to his new "brother" than to him.
Lou Yin moves out to make space for Aunt Zhou and her son/his step brother. He puts on quite a show when convincing his father to get married, but then ends up relying on Gu Hai for comforting. I think that's Lou Yin's main problem. He puts other people' need first without having enough self-confidence xD
GY is just being snotty toward BLY, probably because of LY's background: how he is poor and his mother marry to GY's uncle aka GH's dad. More importantly, GY is being protecting of GH and he clearly sees through the "brotherly" act between GH and BLY. Might be GY is being jealous or might be he is not supporting GH's orientation.

SpoilerI guess the separation is needed. Both of them need to grow up. Before they were literally 16. 16!!!!! And 8 years might seem a lot but 24 is still very wrong. I also think too much dependency is the enemy of a successful relationship. It is the root of many issues like: trust, communication and insecurity. I'm glad Gu Hai and BLY was able to somewhat grow out of their dependency. When I was younger, I always wanted a love that would consume me. But after experienced it once,....never again!! What burn too fast would crash too hard xD

So when I watched all the episodes today, I have some weird thought:
- I wanna ship Papa Hai and Papa Yi. Is it weird??? I know both of them are married but......

Shi Hui + Lu Lu ??? Both of them are scarred by a relationship with men so they seek comfort from the other side...?
- I can't find anyone to pair GY with........
OMG. the actress who plays Lu Lu is beautiful. I guess the make-up really makes her face shine. I remember one of my friend who works as a make-up artist once said: "People who present in television or any public event are like pieces of art. They have many artists work on their appearance: hair, stylist, make-up.....So while it is nice to obverse them, it is very misleading to use their images as standard....." I can kinda see her words in this case. The Lu Lu in the series and the above images are very different xD.

Btw, isn't Fang Fei they one who helped Gu Hai transfer to Lou Yin's school. She seems nice, and I want more of her presence in the series. She would be like the only good female figure.....( I don't count aunt Zhou and grandma Yi)
PS: I just checked and realized I joined the forum in Feb 19.....Doesn't feel like one week for me at all. More like 6 months xD
