  1. Anyone watch the latest episode?  I always knew the "Governor" was a fishy character.  The last scene was shocking too!
    Also, I think I understand who those zombie "pets" really are..

  2. If a male stranger tried to make casual small-talk with you (example: waiting in line at the store, at a bus stop, etc.), what would you automatically assume (i.e. think to yourself) about his intentions?a) "omg, what a creep...need to get out of here fast!"b) "Is he trying to hit on me?"c) "Meh, he must be bored and is just trying to pass the time."d) "He's just being friendly, that's all."e) (think nothing of it, at least not at that moment but maybe afterwards...)f) ???
    note: casual talk examples-(waiting in line at a store) asking a question about the thing(s) you're going to buy (i.e. if you would recommend it)-(at a bus stop) asking for information about a bus route or complaining that the bus is taking too long to arrive-(coffee shop) notices the book you're reading and says "that's an awesome book" because he read it too-(you both walk out of the first day of class) He asks you what you think about the class/professor so far, your major, etc.ETC ETC
    EDIT: @Iron_MaidenGood point, there's too many variables to consider, such as the guy's age/appearance/his approach
    Hmmm, how can I make this question "answerable"? Let's just assume it's an "average" guy (will vary from individual to individual) who is the same age as you. And let's assume you're both in close proximity from the very beginning (i.e. he's not walking towards you).

  3. (quoting tags messed up?)

     When a man knocks up his girl and gets her pregnant, he is hailed as a god of war by his manly comrades.
    Really? I thought most guys are scared of getting a girl pregnant because then he knows he has to "commit" or else pay child support payments.
     If he then goes and dumps her in a gutter cause he has no need to pregnant women, he shall be hailed as a god of war by his manly comrades for doing the most sensible thing.
    Yeah, that seems likely to happen, but only with a certain subset of the population (you know, the types you see on the Maury or Jerry Springer shows, etc.)
    she poked a needle through the condom to claim this god of war by raising his children
    Yeah, believe it or not, it goes both ways too. Some women use this tactic to entrap a man.
     Do you think these manly men should be punished for their actions?And how?
    Well, that's what child support payments are for.  I'm sure it varies from state to state, but a woman could request a judge to order a man to undergo paternity testing.  Also, at the very least, the man will eventually punish himself with regret (if he has any ounce of morality/conscience in him).  He essentially forfeits his right as a father and will never see his kid(s) again.  It's "interesting" how some men, as they get older (and lonely), they want to "reconnect" with their kid(s) that were abandoned a long time ago.
  4. Just started listening to her, and wow....great voice and very pretty.  I wish her many more years/decades of continued musical success!!
    It's easy to get quickly addicted to her music;
    My current favorites (no particular order):  You and I, Good Day, You Know, Marshmallow

  5. I don't think money necessarily "buys" happiness, at least not directly.
    I do believe, though, that money buys freedom.  What I mean is, once you have enough money to obtain the basic human needs (food, water, shelter, clothing, etc.) then you are "free" to start living your life.  Having leftover money after that for leisure is just icing in the cake.
    You only trick yourself into being "happy" when you buy expensive things.  In the end, they were only distractions for you.  (is it mankind's nature to never be satisfied?)
    money --> freedom --> happiness
