I don't know if you saw this thread, but when I read it I actually thought back to our conversation about "civilized" societies (from the thread about the starving village). You should read it. http://www.soompi.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=336065

"Constructive" is left up to interpretation. Something that you may see as a flaw, and then tell them about it in the form of "constructive" criticism could possibly be that persons favorite thing about themselves -- making it not so constructive in their eyes. Such is the way of trying to give advice, though. haha.

Still don't have a clue? LOL. Let me make it clear for you then. You are: 1) Arrogant- You claim you don't use labels and look down on all the millions of people in the world who do for their own personal use. 2)Hypocrite- You don't practice what you preach because you do use labels as seen in some of your posts. Therefore, your claim of "I don't use labels or stereotypes" is completely false and baseless. When asked why you use labels when you claimed you didn't your "explanations" or rather excuses were that you know what those labels mean so it is actually okay for you to do so or that you're just following the crowd and using them because all the "normal" people do. Doesn't the fact that you use labels at all make you one of those "normal" people you look down upon so much? Also, in the posts where you did use labels, you used them freely, without any explanation which was a problem that you had with other people who used labels and something you claimed you didn't do. You're not familiar with the label/term "gentleman"? Then why did you even use it since you can't really explain what it means? Again, you did not practice what you preached. This is why the "explanations" you gave are contradictory and therefore your claims have no merit. If you are so "enlightened" as you tend to believe then you shouldn't be using labels in the first place and so freely, I might add. You want and challenge others to do the same, yet you FAIL to live up to you own standard.

Could you try to stick to the point instead of talking in circles or going off on tangents? Your latest response again does not answer my questions regarding the topic at hand. The posts I was referring to where you used labels or you criticized the use of them were not even a part of the threads that you started but were in responses to other people's threads. It seems that you are either unable to grasp the point or again you are dodging the question. Since I haven't received a straight answer from you and you have failed in your attempts to prove whatever point you're trying to make (I don't use labels/I do use labels but I use them in a better way/I don't follow the norm yet I try to be like others and "speak their lingo"), I will just come to my own conclusions. I rest my case.

I'm very well aware of what the word means and I didn't ask you for a definition. Either you're missing my point or you like to dodge questions. What I did ask you was why did you use labels when you so adamantly claimed that you don't and that you look down on those who do. See the contradiction here? I didn't see you defining or explaining your choice of the word "retard" back in your posts, you just automatically brought the label out and used it loosely. So why should you judge those that do the same? So you feel like you should be like others and "speak the lingo" but then you try to set yourself apart on a higher level than others, (the "normal" people LOL), by saying your choice of labeling is better therefore, it's okay for you to do so. Then why all this big talk in the first place claiming that you don't use labels and that you challenge the millions of people around the world for their use of them? YOU USE LABELS TOO. Period. This just again proves to me you're full of yourself and your superiority complex has no merit.

You sure like to put yourself on a pedestal. Unfortunately, the points that you've poorly made concerning this topic do not warrant your "enlightened" sense of stature. Maybe you think beyond these labels but that doesn't mean you act beyond it. Tell me, for someone who thinks of himself so highly, why would you use the label "retard" in your posts in the Parents Using Violence thread? If you are so "enlightened", then shouldn't you be above using a label like that? You post so much on Soompi that it makes it so much easier for me to refute your claims. Also, you say you only use labels when other people do or "speak the same lingo" as you like to put it. How is that any better? To me it just sounds like a convenient excuse on your part. Based on your contradictory statements, I would rather be a "normal" person than one who has a BIG head...full of AIR.

And a nice guy is just someone that is nice so why do you have such a problem with that? Don't tell me you don't even know what nice means LOL. If you don't use a term/label because you're not familiar with it that is fine, but to claim you don't use it because you're ABOVE it is another story. "Just using them when you're giving advice to normal people" as you so claim? Well, isn't "normal" another label? My point is, don't look down on others for using certain terms/labels when you use them too. You're not only grandstanding, you're also being a hypocrite.

I've seen you use the terms gentleman and stupid guys (check the Ask the Fellas thread) in your posts. Are they not one of those "silly" labels you so highly claim you don't use? Continue on with your self-righteous act, I'm not buying it.

I'm still not convinced that you don't use general terms such as nice guy/jerk or other similar terms EVER. That's a very big claim to make. The only thing I'm convinced of, based on your posts in that particular thread is that you are quick to look down on people who do. Enlightened? I don't think so. Arrogant suits you more. Maybe you should change your username from Mannosuke to Holier Than Thou.
