He seem to quite like Yewon, although there is no determination (lol, pun, you get it). Minhyuk totally seems like a player to me. He is sexy/ handsome and he knows it. He knows for sure that 2 girls like him and both Yewon and Jiwon showed their apparent interest in him. And... and I still ship him with Yewon. 'Cause I like Yewon.
Btw, Minhyuk might also have complicated feelings as to what to do if he knows about Jonghoon. I mean, Jonghoon is his senior and Minhyuk may prefer not to spoil senior-junoir relationship due to this show.
Also... last season, Mir, Jei, Jihyun, etc. were all saying how it feels real and they're confused, and they are thinking really hard about their choices and feelings, etc. In one word, the emphasis is on the word REAL. I dunno why, but apart from Yewon, Jonghoon, and Gna, I don't feel this notion from others. It could be because of the editing (how we barely see the other 3-4 people). Or due to some other reason.
3 more episodes left, right? Oh, I hope no one will be left during the final choice (worried about some of the people)... -
Hmm.. I have a feeling Yewon might've picked Jonghoon because 1) even though the bus ride home was seating of their choice, she sat away from Minhyuk (probably upset from overhearing the Jiwon necklace thing)
she's probably upset at him and thinks he wants to be with Jiwon so she wanted to let them be, c) she has a feeling Jonghoon likes her and d) in the previews for the ep before this (Jonghoon closer and closer lol) you can see that after (or maybe before? HMM) the reveal, Minhyuk moved away as Jonghoon approached and Kevin was all like "knowing smile", and Minhyuk looked on glumly as Jonghoon and Yewon were all giggly together.. Sigh... have to wait till Sunday again!

BTW, even though the editing didn't really show, I think Jiwon is interested in N as well, because she said she was stuck between two people. One who is unexpectedly cool and the other cute. Since Minhyuk is the cute one,I think since today was their first date + back hug, she thinks N is the unexpectedly cool one. I think she reckons Kevin is only nice... friendzoned...
Oh and it seems Eunyoung will be paired with Kevin another time as well, because in the preview where she cried... wasn't she wearing something different? -

Minhyuk is seriously the most confusing guy. I think that he did notice the Jonghoon-Yewon interactions esp. when Yewon started bopping/dancing. Also, I think that the reason why he left a space between him and Jiwon on the way back is because he expected Yewon to sit there (cos he knows she likes him?) but I think she didn't cos she overheard him telling Jiwon he wanted her to pick the necklace.
I think he's interested in Jiwon but maybe more to Yewon? Like Jonghoon right... he see;s the group dates as a opportunity to date with Yewon, even the bus trip back. But with Minhyuk he just sleeps lol.I don't know whether he's undecided or just trying to push-pull atm. As I said, so confusing
Btw, Jonghoon is soooo blatant. Like telling the couple to hurry along so he didn't have to see them being coupley, to the why are you guys back so late and being like beside Yewon like the whole group date, then putting that extra seat down AND movng Yewon's stuff there to sit beside her. I think Kevin might know of this and wonder if he and Yewon chat about it. Btw, noticed that Jonghoon and Yeon were the only ones to interact on the bus cos Minhyuk was sleeping, GNA, Eunyoung, Kevin and N all sat alone.
I felt sorry for GNA, no offence but they edited it to make her look a bit invisible to Jonghoon around Yewon. And the others for the limited airtime, but I do think that's because they're all kind of awkward around each other. I see the GNA and Eunyoung together as well as Minhyuk and N and N and Kevin so I think they only break up into couples randomly. -
^ I think because they're the most natural with skinship hence fits with the whole "romantic" route the show goes for.
I can't believe they're toying with us again! We have to wait another week before we know their feelings!! -

Semi-fly raised the question of whether the audience would watch the show differently if it wasn't revealed in the beginning that the members knew that one of them is a spy, therefore not really understanding the actions and mimics of the members or if the audience would be able to guess it. I think it's a fair question and would be an interesting concept. Right now we laugh at how Choi Ji Woo is so clueless and doesn't realize that the members are tricking her but if we didn't know that, would we suspect anything or would we (the audience) be as clueless as the members?

I'm curious if putting the episode together in such a manner would alter our perception of the episode enough or would it ultimately feel like a bad splice job i.e., make no logical sense?
It's entirely possible that some aspect of what I'm asking/saying has already occurred if you factor in what happened at the end of the episode in which Gary was the spy, the ending of that episode gave off a rather unusual feeling almost as if Gary had been acting as a double agent knowing and not knowing of the deception (the little Kevin Spacey [movie: K-PAX(?)] bit with the limp that corrected itself) he was involved in/with.

^ Ooh so there won't be a midnight song shuffle? Or are they adding more? Because I really liked the format they had last time.. though maybe different missions? From what I see, Yewon's hair is already tied up so wouldn't it be awkward if the mission was to tie her hair again lol.
Only 6 eps? Sigh... I want more already ahaha. And to think that first season was only meant to be 4 eps! -

i some kind agree to ur opinion. but let's say g.na didn't know about jonghoon likes yewon in the 1st day they met. so i think g.na will know about that as they spend the time during date-time, shuffle-couple-time & daily activity in guesthouse and/or anywhere.. -

yewon-minhyuk couple is such dorky couple. like this couple too. but minhyuk is kinda careless person i think. and the scene where he drooled in airplane is worth it to see coz it's cute for me.. hahahaha
honestly i like g.na-jonghoon couple at the 1st but jonghoon blew up all that feel after he saw yewon @ airport & with the preview for next epsd. i feel sorry for g.na. i'm kinda afraid that jonghoon will hurt her & minhyuk with his true heart for liking yewon as he said in his intrvw b4 & his action in the preview for next epsd which containing the obviously way he made in approaching yewon. it's like he give me a feeling as what JB done to seungah b4. coz jonghoon said that g.na is kinda a comfortable noona..
and then kevin-jiwon couple is kinda make me feel pity. beside this couple don't hv much air-time, i can't feel anything from this couple. it looks like jiwon feel disappointed as she met him at the 1st time plus she chose minhyuk so i feel sad to kevin.
btw kevin kinda look alike lee seunggi,rite? and eunyoung is look like hwangbo? am i rite? -
Hopefully they get more screentime this week, they're so underrated yet I think they're one of the more sincere couples too!

i think minhyuk approached his interest with a bad boy vibe. he said yewon is pretty but jokingly point out her hairband. he chose yewon during the initial interview but jokingly told yewon he was a little bit dissapointed when she appeared. lol. i think because he knew yewon's outgoing persona.
does it mean kevin will ended up with g-na as the rest sort of partnered? 3 more days to the next episode. -

So far I will say I like the N & Eunyoung pairing the most. I like their shy and awkward interaction. They have a feel of highschooler. Aren't they the youngest ones?Yewon & Minhyuk have a good chemistry together but I am a bit iffy on where Minhyuk really stands, he is such an awkward cutie pie, he seems to always be about to destroy something LOL.Jonghoon seemed content at first with GNa but the entrance of Yewon in the picture just erased her in his mind, he seems to be a man with focus, his approach is better than Mir so far.Jiwon like Jonghoon seemed to like her first partner Kevin, but it was clear from their interaction at the Mart and later in the house that she is aiming for Minhyuk. I believe this season will be as interesting as the previous ones. In this ones the participants seemed to not as open as the previous ones they are a litlle bit more guarded on their feelings apart from GNa and Yewon since it is plain obvious that these two girls were extremly statisfied with who they were paired with at first.
I really hope Jonghoon wont be able to put himself between Yewon & Minhuyk they are just too precious together the bubbly girl and the awkward cutie. I really hope Kevin will be able to get Jiwon to his side he is charming and a real gentleman.
@lentong Maybe they will get their airtime in the coming episodes like last season. I believe that the PD's like to focus on the more known idols in the first episodes to attract viewers and build our interest towards the lesser known ones by teasing us with a small amount of them shown. -

Found the final ep kind of boring, because it was only the selections (it felt a bit draggy) would've liked some more cute interactions. Actually, I realised they rarely show us the couple convos or group shots so it's a bit of a pity.

^ Okay, I probably shouldn't be bringing JoonSeo news into this, but the fact that YeonSeo has gotten into a relationship with Lee Jang Woo kind of reaffirms what we've come to realise prior, that at the end of the day WGM is just a variety show and honestly, with the premise of being "forced" to marry someone whilst trying to depict what marriage life is like (through missions etc) there is going to be quite a lot of acting or "role playing" involved.
With the KangYoon couple, so far I see it as Julien taking Se Ah as a friend and trying to create more experiences for her because she does seem like she doesn't have that many hence the romantic planning, as well as probably competition to keep his romantic reputation? HAHA. He leads well, and while they're cute and I love their maturity, when he's interviewed alone, you can tell that he admires her as a woman but doesn't seem 100% attracted to her if you get me. -
@tam: I enjoy analysing sometimes, because of the different perspectives, but you're right, even knowing there's some scripting going on, it doesn't detract from the entertainment value because that's what variety shows are - entertainment. It's better that way than getting too sucked into the ideal world these shows sometimes paint.

JoongHoon is someone who is definite with his feelings and prepared to be in serious relationship. That's why he able to put his full efforts and boldly approach the girl he interested. Just give him a chance to date with Ye Won and i'm pretty sure they will officially be a couple.
Ye Won obviously really like Minhyuk earlier on their date. Unfortunately up until their trip to the aquarium, her feelings slowly fade away. Which something she think that Minhyuk did. Although i can't find exact scene where he did that beside talking about the necklace with Ji Won.
Jiwon feelings is too obvious that he likes Minhyuk. But it can't be definite until both of them date together.
Different case with MinHyuk. He may seems comfortable and easy going but he is this type of guy who unable to convey his feelings through words easily. He's this type of guy who prefer to tease the girl he like and usually compliment her only when he feel that she really need that assurance and confident. And his feelings usually come out more through his action which is sometime hard to be interpreted by girls and he simply not a sweet talker.
So who does Minhyuk really like? Jiwon or Ye Won?
As a guy myself. I've found several hints which may indicate that MinHyuk like Ye Won VERY MUCH.. This is from men perspective, so it may not seems to be a signs of affection for women.
1. From the earlier episode, Minhyuk really like to tease Ye Won. This sometimes done by a guy if he want her to be comfortable with him.
2. He always show some concerns to Ye Won despite his preserve personality. He always looking out for her and asking if she's okay like when he helped her carrying groceries, and asking either she slept well before the necklace selection event. Usually, it's hard for a guy to asked someone feelings/condition unless he become interested in her.
3. He was dancing randomly when he realize that Ye Won picks his necklace even though he said its for Ji Won. For someone who is composed and acting cool, that action is totally out of pure shock+excitement. For girls it may seems just like another crazy/playful act, but for a guy yes, love can make you become crazy sometimes.
Its the same thing happened to a guy when he was watching a football and went out crazy after the team they love so much finally scored. (Yes, it's a different feelings but i'm actually emphasizing on this action as a sign of pure excitement and joy). In other words, Minhyuk was really happy to have a another date with YeWon.
4. He try to have a lots of skinship. He may be abit shy earlier in the car, but later he someway did a lot of several small gestures which become a sign of a men affection toward a girl. Like randomly caressing Ye Won hair, and slowly sitting closer to Ye Won after he put on the necklace and holding Ye Won hand and shoulder while doing selca on the hill.
And the ultimate skinship which i believe make him and any guy heart explode is when they're doing the back hugging mission especially when Ye Won suddenly hug him, i can tell he's a bit shocked and but i can tell you he really want to enjoy that moment forever and kiss her. (see how his face doing a few turns to get closer to Ye Won face when she hugged him). He literally holding his real intention due to the camera man. (damn camera man!)
5. He always doing Selca with her. this couple really love doing selca. There's only 1 possible reason. He wants her to always stay close with him and this selca thing is just an excuse. See other couple, and see the pattern of taking selca between couple who have affection to each other and couple who does not.
6. Seeing how Minhyuk trying to approach Ye Won after they arrived at the aquarium, but later cover up his real intention with random wit after been interrogated by Ye Won and JoongHoon.
7. He took a long stare to Ye Won dancing to Joonghoon even though N was busily trying to make a selca with him. MinHyuk obviously jealous with Ye Won getting closer to JoongHoon.
8. Its not like he don't want to be with Ye won during the tour. But as Jiwon was left behind(cuz she went to toilet maybe),he had to accompany her doing the whole trip. So we never know the whole story.
9. And finally, after they finished the trip and entered the bus to went back home, he obviously want to sit beside Ye Won as he take a glimpse of Ye Won behind him and going towards Ye Won seat before the trip(back far right corner,while Jiwon was sitting in the far left corner) . Unfortunately Ye Won changed her sit.
So how about Ji Won?
This is harder to guess since they had less airtime together even though both of them stayed together during the aquarium trip . But I'm not denying that he may felt some affection toward Ji Won. But i don't think his affection toward Ji Won is as strong as his affection toward Ye Won. At least not yet. Even though there are some hints available, most of the time it happened when he being with other people especially Ye Won . So it may seems like an act out of curiosity and be helpful.
Some hints
1. He helped her doing the cleaning and picking groceries.
2. He intended to give her the necklace.
Things may changed later on.
