Kim Tae Hee My Princess Hair

So I saw a topic like this a while back that failed because the pictures weren't showing up properly. I want to do this hairstyle for my prom, it looks so simple but I can never get it right. I always end up making the curls curl too high so it looks like "U"s pointing to my neck or it's all too uniform and clump together into one. Help please >_<

If I had short hair, I would just run a flat iron straight through and the once I get near the bottom, I'd kinda twist it outwards. I think going inwards creates that U shape that goes into your neck.

or bow dry with a round brush

You can curl the ends with a large barrel curling iron too I find it easier!
