Eric, Dongwan, and Hyesung Babysitting

(Kids waiting for their mother by the elevator)

(Inside the apartment)

DW: We are singers….called Shinhwa

Father: Yes, I heard a lot about you guys.

DW: Thank you.

Mother: The famous Shinhwa.

(DW & Eric playing with the youngest.)

Mother: Why are you not listening to me and showing interest only to the child?

DW: Baby is so pretty.

Mother: Baby is prettier than me?

(Look of SHOCK on DW’s & Eric’s faces! LOL!)

Mother: You have to watch the kids, there’s alot laundry, didn’t have time for dishes.

DW: No problem.

DW: We have to do laundry. Let’s have contest to see who’ll do whatt? What should we do?

DW: There’s rice cake.

(Commentator: Shinhwa solves all the problems by playing game!)

Eric: Who ever eats the most out of 3 wins.

(Girls are cheering and when it’s Eric’s turn, he tells them to call him “Mom” instead of “oppa”!)

(Eric won. He put the first rice cake in his mouth!)

DW: Okay kids, lets do laundry.

Eric: Then you do the laundry and I’ll do the dishes.

(Eric thought dishes will be easier but shocked when he sees the mountain of dishes!)

Eric: Can I do laundry?

DW: Who washes the blanket you pee’d on? Me?

(DW runs out of bathroom because of the girl had to use the bathroom!)

DW: You are not doing “ung-gah” (poo) are you? (DW is so embarrassed! LOL!)

(DW is laughing because now all of them are in line to use the bathroom.)

Little Girl on the toilet: I want to poo.

DW: How do I do the laundry?

Eric: Laundry? You do it cleanly. (Eric is such a joker!)

Little Girls telling DW: You have to gather water.

(DW gets water in the bath-tub and goes into the tub to wash it by walking on the wet/soapy clothes)

(I guess they don’t have washing machine…..in Korea this is one of the old fashion way of washing clothes)

(DW pulls 2 girls into the bath-tub to help him)

DW: (telling the girls) You are doing good. Let’s hear you guys sing.

(DW singing children’s butterfly song)

(One of the girls comes to DW and tells him that baby poo’d.. She calls him “Mom”)

(Same girl goes to Eric and calls him “Mom” and also tells him that her sister poo’d)

Eric: Who?

Girl: Hyegung

Eric: The youngest?

Eric: (asking DW) What are we suppose to do?

(Eric decides to ignore it.)

DW: Eric, you clean up the “unng-gah” (poo)! LOL!

(Eventhough Eric finished the dishes, he tells DW, he’s only done half with the dishes)

DW: (tells the girls in tub) Mom (DW) will be right back so continue doing the laundry.

(DW picks up the baby from the baby basket)

(Oldest of the girls, brings all the necessary things for DW to clean the baby and the 2nd oldest bring the pillow for the baby)

DW: You are so pretty (telling the baby)

DW: (tells the girls) After I clean the “unng-ga”, I’ll need wastebasket so get it for me. Thank you.

(DW screaming after he opens up the baby’s diaper! LOL!)

(DW drops the dirty diaper into the trashcan without rolling it)

DW: Help me.

Girls: Us?

DW: Yes

DW: Her poo is gold color so she must have healthy liver (?).

(DW is exercising the baby by bending her half way (like situp) up and down.

(DW looking through refrigerator to get ready for lunch)

DW: Hey, girls, let’s have simple lunch by having, black goat part(?).

Eric: I’ll make “duk-po-ki” (spicy rice cake)

DW: I’ll make “duk-mandoo” soup…no, I’ll make “mandoo” soup.

(One of the girls said, she doesn’t like fried mandoo.)

DW: I’ll make tasty “rice ball”.

(Both Eric and DW started cooking)

Girl: (asking DW) Do you cook at home too?

DW: No, I’m trying for the first time.

(Eric is looking for the “go-chu-jang (Korean hot paste), opening all the jars and smelling it)

Eric: I don’t think it’s “go-chu-jang”, I think it’s “da-di-ghi” (another hot paste used mainly in stew/soups)

Eric: (telling DW) Try it.

DW: It’s “da-di-ghi”

DW: (trying out his rice-ball) It’s doesn’t taste good.

(Girls out of blue decides to change into “han-bok” (Korean traditional dress)

Eric: (asking the girls) Why are you girls all of sudden wearing “han-bok”? Do you want me to help? Is today a special day?

DW: They said when eating, they always wear “han-bok”.

(Hyesung shows up late)

(Hyesung hugs DW and DW tells him about baby’s poo!)

HS: Where are the kids?

HS: How cute/pretty! Let’s do homework. I’ll draw shark.

Girl: I could draw that.

Girl: Why were you so late?

HS: I’m “Mom”.

Girl: Why did “Mom” come so late?

HS: I was late because I was buying the refreshments and the store’s owner/lady went to the bathroom so I had to wait since I couldn’t pay for it.

Girl: You are lying, liar.

DW: Let’s draw pictures together.

Girls: No, you can’t.

DW: So pretty in “han-bok”…color of “duk-po-ki”….and this is color of rice ball. Let’s eat.

Girl: I’m not hungry.

HS?: Let’s try “duk-po-ki”

DW?: Try “duk-po-ki”. It’s really delicious.

HS: Try “duk-po-ki” (giving it to one of the girls). Is it hot? I forgot to cool it down.

Girl: It’s spicy.

HS: It’s not spicy.

(Girl crying as soon as she eats “duk-po-ki”)

DW: Spit it out. (DW gives her tomato?)

HS: Did you put salt? It’s bland.

Eric or DW: Since it’s bland, eat it with “duk-po-ki”

Girl: Rice ball is bland and “duk-po-ki” is spicy.

(DW, Eric, HS enjoying their cooking!)

DW: Telephone is ringing.

DW: Hello? Park? Why?

(Mother of the girls calling to tell Shinhwa to deliver refreshments to girls’ grandmother at the park)

Shinhwa: Hello, grandmothers and grandfathers.

Grandmother: Sing a song.

(Hyesung singing old song called “Red Lipstick” (I think)

HS: I don’t the lyrics.

Grandmother: That’s all you know?

(In the end, Grandmother decide to take over singing and dancing and DW is dancing with them)

(Shinhwa bids good-bye to grandmothers and grandfathers and goes back to apartment to clean the apartment)

Eric: (Cleaning/putting away stuff)

HS: (Hanging the clothes)

DW: (Finishing up the dishes)

(Parents comes back)

(DW is so happy to see them, he calls their mother on his knees half hugging her, “Mom”!)

(DW pretending crying on the sofa.)

HS: You have to greet your parents.

Mother: So Mom doesn’t have to be here anymore?

Girls: (They are nodding) LOL!

Eric: It’s hard being mother.

HS: I think I can understand being mother better.

DW: Please take care my daughters/princess.
