Raw means the jeans have never been washed.. They're usually a little more stiff than normal jeans (washed jeans) and they still have all the ink in them. They're also usually in a dark solid color.

I think Levi's makes raw jeans, but Levi's jeans usually aren't raw unless they say they are.
