Recently saw her in a Chinese show called Just the Two of Us. First time every seeing her and I really love her voice.

I think she's my favorite on the show just becuase she works so hard to learn Chinese and you can definitely see the difference. Hopefully I get to hear more from her.

Sina entertainment, together with CCTV created a huge charity- "Dream 2008" at the center of Beijing.

Kan Miyoun, a very cute figure, attracted many Chinese fans. Korean star Kan Miyoun, who is always interested in charities, joined Korean, Thailand, and Chinese charities.

Kan Miyoun, together with Korean pop star Rain, also had a concert held for the charity. They donated the all money for tickets to kids that are being treated in hospitals. After being asked why she wants to do charities, Miyoun spoke in Chinese and proudly said: "Because I want to give others more love, because they give me much more happiness."

All the money from this "Dream 2008" charity will be sent to help people in need. They will be sent to 20 or more counties in China. Also, many famous stars will attend the opening ceremony.

Kan Mi-youn and Jackie Chan Record Song for China Quake Victims

Singers Kan Mi-youn and Yoo Seung-jun recently recorded a song with top Chinese celebrities to console the victims of the devastating earthquake in Sechuan Province, China.

The two Korean singers recently finished recording "Acceptance" at a Beijing studio with top Chinese celebrities including Liu Yifei and Fan Bingbing under the direction of Jackie Chan.

Kan, who is currently based in China, says she is deeply aware of the gravity of the sitauation and that she hopes to offer what little help she can for the devastated victims.

Prior to taking part in the song recording, Kan also took part in a benefit concert for the victims organized by Beijing's central radio broadcasting company.

Miyoun Shows Her Volunteer Work

Kan Miyoun, showed her volunteer work in Mongol in her website.

Singer Kan Miyoun showed her volunteer work pictures in her website, helping victims of cataract and strabismus (a condition in which the eyes are not properly aligned with each other).

On June 18th, Kan Miyoun worked in a hospital for 4 days in Ulanbator, Mongol with eye specialists, nurses, and volunteers through KBS 1 TV's 'Love's Request'.

Kan Miyoun cared for the patients and disinfected the wounds.

Especially, Kan Miyoun brought joy to the children as acting like their family.

Kan Miyoun's personnel praised her by saying, "Normally, while Kan Miyoun does her singing work, she also visits handicapped hospital. She bathes and plays with children there and shows her affection to them." and "Since she is a star and doesn't want anyone to know about it, but she works hard to participate in volunteer work."

Kan Miyoun's Mongol volunteer work will air on KBS 1TV 'Love's Request', 5:10 PM on the June 18th.
