TVXQ’S Yunho Donates about 33,000 USD to the Kwang Ju Community

TVXQ’s leader, Yunho, showed his heart of giving as he donated approximately 33,000 USD in assisting the community. On January 24, a representative of SM Entertainment revealed that the singer donated his full earnings from the “2013 Kwang Ju Design Biennial” to Kwangju’s Community Chest of Korea. Having earned 25.3 million won (about 33,000 USD) for his participation in the design exhibition, Yunho had wanted to give the full amount back to the community he had been raised in.

From September6 to November 3 of last year, Yunho had been the honorary ambassador for the “2013 Kwang Ju Design Biennial." During his time as the honorary ambassador, the singer had also participated in the art exhibition, auctioning off a design collaboration that had been formed from one of his sketches. Yunho’s generous donation to the community prompts the idea of helping our neighbors who are in need.

Currently, TVXQ is celebrating their ten year anniversary while performing their song, “Something,” from their seventh album, “Tense.”
