So i guess the presence of -te in 居過ぎて connects the first sentence with the 2nd one starting from 周り, is it? Thanks for explaining the grammar etc. I really appreciate that.

yup you got it! a kind of way you can think of the -te form is "and" though usually the following sentence is connected to the first

I actually wanna know the meaning or the colloquial use of the word バーッ. Is it a Japanese onomatopoeia? Does it mean like "If we all could go with everyone"?

バーッ is onomatopoeia, it means something happened very fast or sudden I think. So バーッと起きて would be woke up with a start or a jolt, 花壇がバーッと続いております could mean the flowers are growing very fast, オレらみんなでバーッと行ったら could mean "when we all rushed over there", etc.

Yes here の is short for こと, it means the same thing as 日に当たること好き

There are a few ways to use の in Japanese

私の車 my car - possessive

先生の田中さん mr tanaka who is a teacher (not teacher's mr tanaka)

ジョッギングするの好き I like to jog (instead of こと like ジョッギングすることが好きです)

and when asking or answering questions in a emphatic or inquisitive way, for ex. どこに行くんですか or どこに行くの？"where is it you're going?" 店に行くんです or 店に行くんだ(rough speech, used a lot by guys) or 店に行くの(gentle speech used a lot by girls)

ほんで塩分取られてね。あ～ちょっと冷たい果物でもちょっと食べたいなぁみたいな

Wouldn't really know until I read all of it, but it looks like "I was really taking in the saltiness (from the ocean spray or whatever). Kind of felt like eating some cold fruits or something."

でも also means "something"

果物でも食べない？ Do you want to eat some fruit or something?

学校にでも行くの？ Are you going to go to school or something?

宿題でもしてるの？ Are you doing your homework or something?

冷たい果物でもちょっと食べたい I kind of want to eat cold fruit or something

Sometimes it's ambiguous with the でも that means "even" so you have to guess from the context which it is.

can someone tell me what particle goes before 持って来る & ほもんする？

particles are so confusing >_<

also, if i were to say "my uncle visited from Utah", would i say utah kara homonsuru?

As for 「持って来る」I would suspect 「を」would go before that. It depends on the context ^^ So more context for that please!

「訪問する」（ほうもん）

I think it would be 「に」or 「から」depending on what you were trying to say.

the word for cherry blossoms is さくら（桜）sakura, if you mean that. sorry, i didn't understand your question.. ^^;;

and to say, do you like:

あなた(or maybe insert the name, anata is not really... used?)は＿＿＿が好きですか？

anata ha ___ ga suki desu ka?

a more informal way would be ＿＿＿が好きの？(___ ga suki no?)

i would say it's not really difficult. i think the most difficult thing about it is kanji+grammar.

there's tons of way to say things, but once you get the basics under your belt, and practice a lot with natives (i try to do this but i don't use it much as i used to and i've just forgot TONS -__-) and yeah, that's my 2p!

Sakura are symbolic of buddhism and japanese culture in general..there's a concept called "mono no aware"（物の哀れ), which is like "the pity of all things", it's about learning to enjoy beauty but realizing that in the end all things are suffering and go to waste because nothing will last forever, and beauty itself is impermanent, but beautiful precisely because it does not last forever (very buddhist type thinking). So the sakura fits that perfectly, because it blooms only for a very short time with extreme beauty then dies soon after.

And honestly it really depends on the book or the website, there are a lot of bad ones and a lot of good ones too.

since i'm lacking japanese character display, i put it in a jpn->romaji convertor

from the convertor i got "gazetto katarimashou" -> "gazette talking/narrating" --- i take it the ending is "mashou" cause they're a band, so, in more context i think it would have that sort of feel.

the kanji is kataru, i believe.

quite good for not being able to see the japanese text, hahah.
