Can someone please translate this for me? I get the main gist, but want to make sure I'm right. It's from my host sister in Osaka, so it's super important to me. Thanks so much!

Hey Selena

Your Dior Eye Shadow arrived! Thank you, I tried it on right away.

I'm not sure you can find this color in Japan, I wonder if it's just in the USA. I'm so happy!

It looks like you've been studying hard at your university.

Have you made a lot of friends there too?

Everyone is doing well here, everything is in Christmas colors already.

Miyuki has been working hard as well.

Everyone is looking forward to seeing your university pictures.

By the way Selena, where are you going to spend New Year's?

Are you going to come to Ken's place?

Wasn't sure about the last line..guessing it's an inside thing

Can someone help me with this, please? I have to translate it from Japanese to English (so hard ><). ごあいさつ = greetings, correct? It's in this thingy so much.... so I'm sorta confused. ;____;a

Title: おおきなこえで ごあいさつ = Greetings in loud voices?

あさだよ!! まだ ちょっと ねむいけど おおきな こえで ごあいさつ。= It's morning!! Still a little bit sleepy but I'll greet in a loud voice?

おでかけの ときは げんきよく ごあいさつ。 = I'll go out cheerfully?

ごはんの まえは おててを あらって ごあいさつ。Before rice _____? Couldn't find what おててを あらって (+ごあいさつ) meant.... ^^;;

おともだちから プレぜントを もらった ときは。。。 = ___ present_____? ...^^a

かえろう みんなで なかよく ごあいさつ。= ___everyone___?

Aish~ Sorry for so many blanks! I couldn't find those words in the dictionary so I couldn't figure it out.... ^^;; Sorry for the bother! But, help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you~~<3

あさだよ!! まだ ちょっと ねむいけど おおきな こえで ごあいさつ。= It's morning!! Still a little bit sleepy but I'll greet in a loud voice (Or It's Morning!! Still a bit sleepy, but greetings with a loud voice! Basically same meaning xD)

おでかけの ときは げんきよく ごあいさつ。 = When going out, greetings cheerfully!

ごはんの まえは おててを あらって ごあいさつ。Before a meal, wash your hands and greetings! *Note = ごはん is rice, but also basically means a meal.

おともだちから プレぜントを もらった ときは。。。 = When you get a present from your friend...

かえろう みんなで なかよく ごあいさつ。= Let's go home, friendly greetings with everyone.

ごあいさつ = greetings; yes, but this is a piece of writing which kinda uses it loosely, and not directly translating to greetings as per se in all contexts.

oh well, just wanted to blow off some stream related to mixi.

へッ、このフォラムに来ない理由はまず「日本語ヘタクソ」、そして「日本語で読む・書くは苦手」だ。

時々来たほうがいいかも・・・

What you said is right..I don't know why your teacher would say it's wrong, most likely they might not even know what it is. The long term for it is 科学捜査 (kagaku sousa) which means scientific investigation (ie for a crime), so you can say

将来は科学捜査研究所に勤めたいです

(shourai wa kagaku sousa kenkyuusho ni tsutometai desu)

In the future I want to work in a forensic research laboratory

(研究所 kenkyuusho means lab)

or

将来は科学捜査研究所員になりたいです or 将来は科学捜査研究所の研究員を目指しています)

(shourai kagaku sousa kenkyuusho-in ni naritai desu) or (shourai wa kagaku sousa kenkyuusho no kenkyuu-in o mezash!teimasu)

In the future I want to become a forensic crime lab person. / In the future I'm planning to be a researcher at a forensic crime lab.

you can pretty much tell why it get shortened to 科捜研

but seriously if your teacher doesn't know what it is (like how some english speakers won't know what forensic science is), just say 、犯罪現場などから採取された証拠品とかを科学的に犯人に結びつく仕事です hanzai genba nado kara saishu sareta shoukohin toka o kagakuteki ni hannin ni musubitsuku shigoto desu "It's a job where you scientifically link evidence taken from crime scenes to the criminal"

-edit-

by the way.. is there another way to write that ?

You can also say

愛してはいけない

ai sh!te wa ikenai

It's stronger

Hello! little mixed girl! I understand exactly what you mean. BTW, I am Japanese ♀ living in Japan. Yeah, the situation here is a bit different from the world. Majority of internet users are Otaku in Japan. Because internet does not instill in the society yet. I mean each of us owns one computer at home but probably they don't use it as much as people in the world, I think. And most of the addicts are male Otaku. Nerds who don't have communication skills, loves anime, computer game, idols etc. They are like living in an illusion as they don't live in a real society, like living in a two dimentional society. It really irritates me too. But there are a few better people on internet too such as me. Your Japanese is good. またね~ :)

Could anyone help translate these instructions into english for me? I thought of just winging it and applying it as an brow mascara/gel, but seeing as it is a hair colouring product that i'm using on my eyebrows, i'd rather not risk it haha! Thank you so much, I really appreciate it! :)

How do you say, "Is it okay if I turn in the kanji sheet on Monday?"

Getsuyoubi ni kanji sheeto o [______] mo ii desu ka?

like, getting a drink would be: mizu o nonde mo ii desu ka?

Help me fill in the blank. I need this before tomorrow morning.
