How To Change Myspace 2.0 Background?

I'm trying to change my background on myspace. I recently signed up for it and I've followed the instructions and all:

1. Customize profile

2. Selected "no theme"

3. c/p the layout code

4. preview

And then nothing happens. The layout I want isn't set. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. Perhaps the layout code is wrong or off?

This is a div overlay layout, html knowledge required!
1. Log into myspace.com
2. Click on Edit Profile (Profile 1.0)
3. Copy (ctrl c) and paste (ctrl v) code to the specified fields

DIV overlay layouts like Dong Bang Shin Ki Love will only work if you have a Profile 1.0 account... meaning that it was created before April 1, 2009. Since you "recently signed up" for a myspace account, that probably is the reason why the provided layout codes are not working.

Check this out if your account was created before April to change it back to Profile 1.0: http://faq.myspace.com/app/answers/detail/...0VBcmt5ag%3D%3D

If you know someone who has an older (unused) account, ask them for it. Otherwise, play around with the codes you currently have. Or... ask someone who is familiar with CSS to help you out.
