Wonder Girls place first on the Billboard K-pop charts

The Wonder Girls, who successfully made their long-awaited Korean comeback with “Be My Baby“, added another shiny medal to their trophy case by clinching the #1 spot on the Billboard K-Pop Chart!

Although the first-place rank is a significant feat in itself, the girls landed several other tracks on the top 50, including “Me, In” (17th), “Girls Girls” (18th), “GNO“ (22nd), “Act Cool” (47th), and “Stop” (49th).

The full album also managed to land on 5th place on the Billboard World Album chart, as well as 33rd on the Social 50 chart.

“We’re very happy to hear that the Wonder Girls have been drawing attention from foreign fans as well,” said JYP Entertainment. “We will work hard in the future to bring more good news that both foreign and domestic fans can cheer about.”

Congratulations, Wonder Girls – here’s to an award that the girls shouldn’t be able to accidentally break!

Wonder Girls’ bare faces revealed through ‘Choi Hwa Jung’s Power Time’

Photos of bare faces of the members of group Wonder Girls were recently revealed on the hompage of the radio show, ‘Choi Hwa Jung’s Power Time’.

The girls were on the show to talk about their recent comeback with “Be My Baby“. After the show was over, the photos appeared on the homepage with the description, “These selcas are so adorable. Even from a selca you can sense the girls’ global influence! Their expressions are so cute, even when listening to directions. I think everyone on the set wants a copy of this picture for themselves!”

In the photos you can see the girls’ beautiful faces without their usual stage make up. Netizens commented with, “They’re still so pure“, “They’re still pretty“, and “Even their bare faces are beautiful!”

Yeah, my copy has the same. Did yours come with a small 4-page ad mailer too (Pony sportswear x 2, Pyeongchang Winter Olympics, Evisu jeans)? 

Yeah, those also came with my copy. Lol, aw, poor girls had a misprint so they had to cover the mistakes with a sticker. Anyways, I was wondering if anyone else received an e-mail from the record company?

Lol...... I found an article over at seoulbeats but I don't really think I should post it here. But, for those of you who are still butthurt over Wonder Girls loss, here's a little gift from seoulbeats ;)

Wonder Girls not winning in Music Bank is really suspicious.

I swear, I don't know what's up with KBS. 

But the ranks show it all.

You can never argue with numbers.

I think she's referring to the performance of Wonder Girls in the Music Core. At, 2:35 the part where Yubin's rap you can see the jinkionew there. :D

Cute, brief interview that takes place on the night of their first comeback on 11/11 Music Bank. Uee comes out for a few seconds, congratulating YooBin.

The girls have mentioned a couple of times so far that JYP's lifted the ban on dating, and in this interview, YeEun also says JYP is okay if the girls go public with their relationships if/when they date! Hehehe...

I'm secretly hoping for a DongHae-SunYe pairing myself! :D
