I've been rewatching old clips and was hoping some others could link me to their favorite performances of the girls. I absolutely can not wait for the comeback man. Watching the breathe fancam of sunye just blew me away, I hadn't watched it in some time, she just took over the stage like it was her song, lol I was like why is she leading the 'oh oh oh' parts and sohee sounded so good too. of course heartbeat was amazing as well but I'm getting so antsy now I want them to show off their stuff & I've seriously forgotten how amazing sunye sounds, she can reach such high notes but she's been trained to deliver emotion more than power and it shows so much (I was watching her 'you raise me up'  solo'. nac;spsnv9nf I wonder how the girls are gonna promote the album when it does come out. Does anyone know? Will they be flying all over the place, staying in america or etc etc?

it's really weird I feel like I'm having a WG withdrawal right now even though we've all been waiting already for so long. It might be because of all these other comebacks and whatever but I really really need to see new performances and etc from the girls vnisjnvfwivapi :/

ps I read that jyp called sunye 'the female rain' is that true? another person commented on it but I've never read it before  lol.

I'm so bias though I know sunye deserves to be higher, she can reach great high notes but we don't get to see it here too often :? I think its a shame they based these off popularity too otherwise YeEun would have definitely ranked as well

That's what I've been thinking. I really adore Yeeun's voice. No offense to Sunye (hey, I love Sunye very very much!) but I think Yeeun got the strongest voice in WG. Its a pity she rarely been given chance to show off her voice.

I think Yeeun has the strongest voice in the group but Sunye has more emotion when she sings. I think they are both amazing singers that really work well with and compliment one another in terms of their singing.

As I originally speculated, the event was more of a showcase after all. Each performer is listed with 4 songs.

China Mobile organizes them every few months (there are photos of other artistes at previous gigs) so I don't think WG has signed an endorsement contract with them.

But JYPE has had a lasting relationship with the company for the Mainland market.

If you actually took the time to read the person's comment.kkk no one is arguing about that. No doubt Yenny has the strongest voice in WG. And she had in various songs showed it to us and am very proud of that. But you can't and must not overlook Sunye's vocal talent as well. She's the most expressive and soulful singer in the group. I love 2YE

a fan account of the rehearsal from china WF.

After buying the snacks & drinks for the girls, I managed to sneaked into the concert venue to catch a glimpse of their rehearsal! Saw a JYPE staff and was thinking of walking over to pass him the snacks & drinks, but at this moment, I heard NOBODY being played!

Sunye! The first to walked out was her. She was wearing a grey coat and the Stella McCartney leopard print tank which she wore previously. Can't remember what color she wore for her leggings, but she was also wearing shades. Once they got on stage, Sunye was extremely polite and said in Mandarin "Hello everyone, we are the Wonder Girls. We will first sing our song NOBODY", and they started their rehearsals. She even took the lead in bowing (head almost touching the ground). It's a pity I wasn't able to record because there was a security who kept shining his torchlight at me, so angry! After the first song, Sunye said something in Korean but I couldn't understand.

After that, it was TELL ME, i think. OMG! Sunye was standing there and rapping the TELL ME rap! The one she did in the Genting concert skit! Hit me one time baby dasi hanbeon! Okay banggeumhan geon aljiman tto hanbeon! Cute right??? She did it a few times, and was even bouncing around.

Then it was SO HOT. After SO HOT ended, she said a long string of korean words, couldn't understand. THEN, I suddenly heard YOU RAISE ME UP!!! And it wasn't just one line, it was one section! Sunye! She was singing and humming to YOU RAISE ME UP while waiting.

Then, I was chased away by the staff. I went to a corner to peek. After 2DT, the ever polite Sunye said in Mandarin "Thank you everyone, it has been a tough day". IN MANDARIN!!! I wanted to bring the snacks & drinks over to the JYPE staff but I saw there was noone at the front of the stage so I ran over and pass it directly to Sunye. WOAH, she smiled at me, I died (although she was still having her shades on).She said 'THANK YOU' and then something funny happened! That babo, the wire cord from her mic pouch got entangled in her hair, and she was taking a long time to get it out, so I said "May I help you", she smiled and said "No No Thank You Thank You", and this staff came over to help her with it. After she got down from the stage, I asked if she needed any other snacks and I will go out to buy, Sunye replied "ok ok thx" and then we said goodbye.

I was at the actual concert too, in the first row! Shan't say much, you can watch the fancams by the others, but there is something I would like to point out - Sunye was really nice to Lim! Sunye was always looking at Lim with a smile, and I noticed that when Lim was talking, she was the only one who looked at Lim and smiling. When Lim tripped over a word while talking, Sunye would give her hints, I was very touched by this.

The host also asked "How many times have you been to Beijing?", Sunye replied "4 times", and the host also tripped over his words when saying "2 Different Tears", his English is not that good. The host also asked "Anyone wants WG's handphone number?", then the girls replied "010..." (beijing number) and everyone in the audience laughed.

After their performance, I heard they went to watch RAIN's concert.

Most likely right? I mean, why would they go through this long process if they didn't release it in Korea as well. I actually thought they would release it in Korea but I'm not sure.

Ah, I gave it another half day but it's no use: RAIN's concert pretty much swept all the press coverage from Beijing on Saturday night, vis-a-vis the China Mobile showcase.

WG only got brief mentions, & from Hong Kong sources at that.

Happy for Bi, all the same: he got great reviews & reportedly a decent crowd (18,000). A nice hurrah before his enlistment..

You mean whether there will be a Korean edition, with a Korean-sung song or two?

Yes, I anticipate it is still in the plans. WG previously said they hope to expand their US tour to across the world, so it's hard not to see a Korean comeback added into the mix.

But, interestingly, Sunye hinted at the Chloe event that they have yet to decide whether to include Chinese-sung versions (for the Chinese edition).

Maybe she was just speaking off the cuff. She's always the most eager WG member to share hints & leaks, but they don't always come to pass.

(For example, her previous onstage announcements that 'Tell Me' & then 'So Hot' were to be the 2nd English single.)

I think the overall album strategy remains under discussion & is not finalized yet.

The Americans also have an established industry system: The artiste "delivers" the completed album to the record label, who in turn gets their A&R people to listen to it & decide whether to "accept" or "reject" it (for distribution).

In a way, the likes of SE7EN & J-Lim never successfully crossed this hurdle. The final decision is also pretty much out of the music producers' hands.

If accepted, the record label will then sit down to brainstorm how best to market it.

WG hasn't even finished recording the album yet, so we are jumping the gun.

i think sunye has the most talented voice in WG according to what that poll was looking at (which i think wasn't all that bias. i mean, seo in young beat sunye and it's not like siy has a HUGE fanbase. but the diva DOES have a great voice).

but i do PREFER yeeun's voice over sunye's. i guess because yeeun's seems more...raw. its more made for soulful and rnb music where she can BELLOW out her notes (which she's triumphs at). sunye has a voice thats great in almost every circumstance though, something i see with singers that have been trained for so long.

either way, i love both their voices, just for different reasons !~

Just one question..I was on a kpop forum and a poster mentioned Wonder Girls had a performance of Irony that was in the rain, and that shortly after Sohee fainted. I have never heard of this happening or this performance. I was wondering does anyone know anything about that? Or have that performance? I have been searching and couldn't find.

Thanks for the video @Dechen It's a difficult song. But all of them can manage the song really great. Even for Sohee. She can sing really well in that song (maybe she need more lines to prove it). But for me the best singer in that song is Yeeun. Her voice is truly amazing. Same with Sunye and Mimi with their soul in music. But in that song, Yeeun shine more with her awesome voice and perfect solo.

A muscled RAIN thrills fans in Beijing

Korean heavenly idol RAIN kicked off his Asian tour last night in Beijing. To show off his muscled frame, he removed his white shirt to reveal a black singlet. He pulled it up later to flaunt his abs, prompting ear-splitting screams from the fans. Fake rain also fell onstage, showering his body as he knelt & sang.

Every now & then, RAIN would attempt to banter in accented Mandarin. The concert employed with high-tech laser effects, as well as stage lighting that created a bustling nightscape & festive backdrop to connect with the over 10,000 spectators. Separately, WONDERGIRLS was also in town on the same night for a music showcase, where they performed a stirring rendition of their signature 'Nobody'.

RAIN holds a Beijing concert before he enlists

Korean heavenly idol RAIN & WONDERGIRLS (WG) had flown into Beijing in succession the other day. RAIN prompted headed out to attend a contract signing ceremony for a Mainland cosmetics brand. He also staged a solo concert last night; it will be his last in Beijing before he enlists. To wish him every success, the organizers arranged for him to 'dot the eyes' for a lion dance.

WONDERGIRLS arrived in Beijing on the afternoon before their own performance. Yeeun & Yoobin were [spotted] pushing luggage trolleys as they walked out of the airport exit. The quintet was escorted by over 10 staff members & bodyguards as they made their way down to the parking lot. Along the way, the girls were all engrossed in playing with their cellphones.
