QQ Entertainment 2010-09-17. New York. Popular Korean girlgroup WONDERGIRLS (WG) of worldwide 'Nobody' fame turned up majestically in New York to enjoy the Anna Sui fashion presentation. The whole audience was buzzing 'Nobody'. They are more popular than the designer!

On September 15 New York time, Anna Sui held her latest 2011 Spring-Summer fashion show, which attracted the city's many celebrity devotees into making a pilgrimage. Yet the biggest attention turned out to be, of course, a popular Korean girlgroup whose breakout hit was well-received overseas: WONDERGIRLS. Dressed in Sui unni's latest creations, the quintet made a high-profile entrance at the New York Fashion Week to enjoy the Anna Sui presentation. When the girls appeared, there were cheers & clamor at the venue, with numerous foreigners singing their signature song & shouting "NOBODY NOBODY." It was very concert-like. With the media & the fans swarming around, the spectacle was rather chaotic.

The fashion presentation was slightly delayed

The limelight was too strong on the girls. With a horde of fans coming forth to ask for autographs, the start of the fashion show was delayed for a while. Post-show, arrangements were also made for the quintet to meet & take photos with Sui unni backstage. It reflected their eminent status & highly-regarded nook in the grand scheme of things.

The Kpop industry has flourished in recent years, with Korean girlgroup WONDERGIRLS also well-known in Asia since the beginning of the year. The quintet were prominent attendees at New York's Lincoln Center yesterday (Hong Kong time) for Chinese-American designer Anna Sui's fashion show. Also present was veteran rocker Ozzy Osbourne's daughter Kelly Osbourne.

WONDERGIRLS was attired in golden & silvery brocade & baby skirts. They lined up along the first row VIP seats for photo-ops. Swinging their hips, flashing 'V' signs & turning left & right, they were very flirtatious, leaving those sitting behind them speechless. Elsewhere, Kanye West also appeared at 3.1 Phillip Lim's show, wearing a peach-pink jacket & stealing the limelight.

Korean girlgroup WONDERGIRLS lent their support to the fashionable Tory Burch.

America's Tory Burch is a fashionable brand name. For its 2001 Spring-Summer presentation, 30 models lined up the long runway stage &, augmented by loud music, showed off its clothes. Designer Tory Burch said: "I am inspired every day of the week, by the elegance of daily life."

Under the sunshine-y orange lights, silhouettes in bell bottoms, high-waisted skirts, etc. were wearing laces as well as old-school knitted material. They radiated a retro charm. The clothing relied mainly on warm tones, while the handbags are multicolored. Besides the basic white & black, camel, bright green & yellow colors were also included in keeping with what Tory said about daily elegance.

Pei Bei is worn out

China supermodel Pei Bei had to stand erect on the runway [for 1.5 hours] & confided: "It is a little tiring." She has 6 shows during this New York Fashion week & will return to Shanghai afterward. Korea's WONDERGIRLS was also part of the packed crowd at the venue, obediently waiting to greet & to take photos with Tory.
