Guest eyeheartyou
Haha no problem and thanks for the advice! The problem is it looks weird if I drag the end of the eyeliner down, because if you look closely.. it's like.. that area of my eye is like.. "empty"? idk my relatives always bring that up.. let me show a closer pic. http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc1/hs050.snc1/4189_1161277793689_1280142100_30448890_6067149_n.jpg Old pic but whatever, so if i drag it down therse like that little gap inbetween.. and if i drag it close to my eye it just makes my eye look tiny lol. Thanks for the other tips!! Yeah I got a shu uemera curler but idk if i'm using it right because I find it hard to curl all my lashes nicely >< You should try connecting your eyeliner. Drag the eyeliner on your eyelid down and pull the bottom liner up to the corner so both lines connect. If that doesn't work drag the top down and flick it up a bit (like you're doing cat eye) it might help.

Guest sw33twasabi
Can someone post tips on how to achieve Hyosung's look? She's the blonde one. It SEEMED really simple to do, just looks like black eyeliner right? But whenever I attempt to do that look, my eyes still look like unattractive slits in the end. I've always been jealous of how Hyosung could have single eyelids and still have such attractive "bright-smiley" eyes. BAAAAAWWWW. I have oily skin and half-lids (a monolid, but half way only? D: ) so liquid eyeliner hasnt been the best for me. Perhaps I should also use some dark eyeshadow too? Well I hope someone can help~ thanks in advance. ya, u hv to use dark eyeshadow.. step 1: use cream eyeliner one (like bobby brown or wet n wild those are not that smudge) *watch this video (will help how to line) step 2: use ur BLACK eyeshadow and put over ur eyeliner and smudge the sharp edge. *u getto use REALLY DARK BLACK EYESHADOW cuz i try with my black SHIMMERY eyeshadow, it doesn't come out like the way i want. so u hv to use black without shimmer. step 3: don't forget to line ur bottom.. and set up with the black eyeshadow too. hope i help ur question.. b4 u wear this look to somewhere, practice at home.. so u know if u make mistakes, u can fix later the day u wear this style make up. Guest lovesicles
You should still fill it in, maybe with a brown pencil? I photoshopped only your eyeliner when it's dragged down to the natural end of your eye +bottom brown eyeliner, and if you drag it down even further +bottom brown eyeliner. I just wanted you to see the difference it can make http://img718.imageshack.us/img718/7163/anim68ed04aac331] I like how it elongates your eye when the eyeliner's dragged down more. I find going 2/3 the way in on the lower lid to be less harsh looking. If i go 1/3 of the way, the eye looks unbalanced since there's so much going on the outer corner. When i line my eye, I stick close to my lashline even when i get to the outer corner, fill in my gap, and go down past it. My eye gap (lol) is smaller than yours though. eh, no. i agree with you about lining it a bit past the end of the eye. but don'tttttt line the bottom. especially if your eyes aren't very big. it just.. makes the eyes look so much smaller. notice: a lot of korean actresses don't line their bottom eyes. their eyes look bright and big. :]
Guest anitazhou
does anyone know how to do ga-in's eye make up cuz im totally lovin it at the moment thanks! i dont know if this is too late, but i went out the other night and i tried to replicate her makeup. (sorry it's a bit cut off) not sure if i succeeded or failed, but i like the outcome anyway : ) i think the main thing with her makeup is to make your eyes look super long by lining the sides, since piling the eyeliner on top doesn't really work (notice how when i open my eyes, the liner on my top lid disappears like magic). but you should definitely line your top lids anyway, since it completes your whole look... and it's pretty when you look down, lol

I'm jealous - I wish I could line my waterline ;/ I can only line my lashline with eyeshadow because gel e/l and pencil e/l migrate too much. However, I think the top looks too empty, because you have more black on the lower.\ Like this picture, you can add a charcoal grey or even silver (with a bit of grey closer to the lash line) onto the chrease. and smoke it out at the end to soften it. Although black can make eyes look smaller, I think greys/silvers are not as harsh, and thus can actually emphasize the eyes and make them appear bigger. Also, when I say adding grey/silver to the crease, it's more like "finding" where your eye socket is. That way, when you open your eyes, the color appears above your lids. Hope that helps! I don't have this problem since I have doubles ^^;;
Guest quarter.life
hey guys back with more pics! i'm kind of debating whether or not i should do tutorial(s) but i don't have good lightening in my house plus i'm pretty sporadic about eyeshadow usage hahaa. but here are three looks i did for fun~ i don't edit any of my pics so you guys can see the actual color! (excuse the glue here lol, i'm still having trouble with dramatic lashes cause they ALWAYS flip on me. does anyone have a solution to this?!) i can also give a description about what colors i used (except for the last look, but i did the look from this cheap claire palette, which was a pain cause i had to keep packing color on my lid, but i can give the general shades i used to those who want to recreate the look!) Guest Envious-Sleep
There're a few tutorials on youtube. Just search "monolid makeup" or something. For me, it's not so much the issue of having no fold, as it is the way it folds. I have single eyelids, but they don't just not fold, they fold DOWN. So about half a centimeter disappears into my eyes. It makes my lashes shorter because the lashline is up and underneath a layer of skin and I can't put on eyeliner, because for it to show up, I'd have to draw like, an inch-thick line. So I generally don't do makeup on the top lid. I focus a lot on the outter corner of my eyes and the lower lid (adding white/light eyeshadow to make my eyes pop a little). Falsies make it a bit easier, because it unfolds my lids and then gives it a normal 'double lid' fold.

Guest j.tann
haha, this forum is so cute(: In my family, my parents and brother all has double eyelids 'cept for me :[ haha, but I guess single eyelids aren't that bad. [top pic with no makeup, bottom 2 with makeup] The way I wear my makeup is always having a tint of brown eyeshadow on eyelid, and black eyeliner on top and bottom. Fast & simple.
