A lot of people think I'm Chinese,Japanese,Laos or even Mexican.

It's kinda fun to mess with there heads a bit,

but in the end I tell them I'm Filipino then there expression changes

Some people have thought I was Hispanic. But I'm not.

But it doesn't bother me since I have some hispanic in me.

I only got mistaken once for a korean when I went to the opticians and some guy asked if me and my "sister" (which was really my mom XD) if we were korean, but most of the time people can immediately tell I'm chinese.

He went up to me and started speaking japanese to me. =.=

i'm sure i've already replied but anyway, i get filipino probably because i'm kinda dark i think. and korean because my last name is jung and a lot of my friends are korean so i guess people just assume. i'm chinese by the way

i get mistaken ALL the time. on very rare occasions someone will get it right... but most often not =o=

most likely it's because i'm a halfie (chinese&korean)... so lots of people always get it wrong. whenever i meet someone new and they ask what's my ethnicity, i always tell them to guess first just to see how many choices i get to my first impression ethnicity xD so far i've got caucasian, chinese&japanese, full chinese, and full korean. there were some people who immediately guessed right thinking i must be half one asian and half another and that really surprised me *o*. so yea... my ethnicity confuses a lot of people. but one thing's for sure that people guess right is that i am ASIAN! LOL. that person who thought i was a caucasian needed his eyes checked or something... LOL.

lol, people always ask me if i'm chinese, vietnamese, or filipino... i don't think i even look filipino OR chinese.... LOL, man, i don't even know what i look like!!! i'm laotian/thai/chinese... i think i look laotian... but that's only cuz i know that i am laotian, lol...

Haha, a lot of times people double or triple guess my ethnicity.

I've been called korean, japanese, viet, or some mix of an asian ethnicity.

But I'm Chinese and proud of it.

Back in elementary school, I used to be mistaken for being Chinese... but I'm Filipino. People thought that if you were asian... you were either Chinese or Japanese

All the time, but I expect it. Sometimes it works as an advantage and I am treated more kindly by my host community.
