I get, "Are you Chinese?" or "I thought you were Chinese!"

all the time. But even Korean people think I'm Korean (i don't see

how ..) and Japanese people think I'm Japanese --

I'm Filipino.

Hmm...this is a good question. Never thought much about it before.

Actually I had my ethnicity mistaken so many times.

Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Spanish, Asian/Caus....yeap.

My ethnicity is Hmong.

I guess it depends. I just don't like it when people (especially Cau.-White) ask me if I know karate. No, I DO NOT know karate. Or when people thinks that Hmong people are not pretty or something. ex: Are you sure you are Hmong? You're so pretty.

I mean, everyone has their own individual looks, regardles of ethnic background. Gosh, that just ticks me off when that happens~ It doesn't matter what ethnicity you are or what I am. Everyone is unique because they all look different from one another. Otherwise, it doesn't bother me that much when they mistake me for something else. hope that makes sense.

This one guy in my history class mistakened me for korean. I went along with him and told him I was korean. When I turned away I started to crack up. Then he found out that I was only joking.

I get mistaken for a different ethnicity ALL the time. I recently moved to college and met a whole bunch of new people and this is the order of their guesses on my ethnicity...

First off, I always get mixed of some sort. Then I usually get Chinese or Mexican. Then I get something like Korean or Japanese. Then I get Phillipino or Laotian. I'm really Vietnamese, but I've gotten some really weird ones like Italian. HAHA. Here is a picture of me, what do you guys think?

I'm on the right side. Chinese?

People always mistake me for Dominican or Mexican even though I'm black. There's a couple of latino kids that I sometimes have conversations in spanish with. I guess if a girl speaks a little bit of spanish, then she's latina. It doesn't really bother me because a lot of the Dominicans and Mexicans at my school look black.

thuthu

in the first two you look asian

in three, five, and six you look mexican

in four you look white.

Majority of Dominicans are dark-skinned. I'm surprised that people thought you were Dominican (people don't even know what a Dominican is where I live). Where do you live? East coast?
