Which reminds me that the end is near Oh my. Not much interested with the ending of this drama anymore. My primary concern is I will miss SIG again after this drama. I hope he made another one this year. This time a romantic drama again. And please, they should choose a better actress than Yeon. Another Han Ga In or Han Hye Jin looks good to me. Miss his stylish and debonaire looks

Yeon looked back, as they escaped. She saw Dojin and group rushed, but they did not see her. Her expression changed as she saw Dojin. She voluntarily stayed back to be together with Dojin. :tongue2:

Muhyul gave some sort of poison to smuggled in to Hye App. They became like dead. Dojin thought they were dead and sent out the bodies to forest. Then Maro and group came and kept her till she woke up. (fake dead).

But I understand that she stayed behind to protect Muhyul.

I'm glad that Hodong is finally with his father, but I wish Yeon, Muhyul, and Hodong could just be a family already.

Awww, Yeon went back to Dijin. Why? She loved Dojin as they lived together for 2 years? She was angry to Muhyul as she thought he forgot about her in 2 years. But she made mistake to gave away her son.

Sooner or later, she will find out who was really sword down his father to death!

I doubt, Yeon's survival at the end. :fury: (This script might be differnt from history books....those are also mostly :excl: guessing.)

Episode 35-36 will be same sequence as before. First lose, then win, but this time story end...

Selva/Koalabear - thanks for all the terrific caps! I haven't seen any new eps, but just looking at little Hodong and Evil Eyebrows made me sad! I wonder if they really made him cry? I bet the actress felt bad after that.

Tateboe - Remember that Dojin was like a brother to Yeon their whole lives. I think she still loves him that way very much. I bet she was very surprised when he admitted he was in love with her even though she didn't feel the same way and I don't think she wants to hurt him.

So let me walk through this - she's a mother and wants to keep her son safe. She loves Muhyul and wants him to have his son and crown prince. As much as she'd like to be with Muhyul in KGR, she looks back and sees Dojin. Letting Muhyul take Hodong and staying in Buyeo - this is her way of trying to appease everyone - Muhyul at least gets his son and Dojin who is insanely possessive of Yeon, gets Yeon. It's not a bad plan really. She'll hope that she'll eventually get to be with Muhyul and Hodong, Dojin will hope that she will eventually love him and make more little Hodongs with him.

I still hate fat Daeso, even if he does like little Hodong. Sorry, just had to interject that

Don't give up yet cantonhina! Maybe it will all work out. Hodong won't die - he can't until he's older and kills himself anyway, so he'll live. Maybe Muhyul will get Yeon out after he kills Fat Daeso and whips Dojin into a steaming crying pile of baby. Maybe it will be ok.

There is some happy history drama - Jumong was good. Dae Jang Geum was happy! It can happen!

Ep. 34:

Dojin asks why Muhyul doesn't just bring up Yeon and Hodong, the matters that really brought him to Buyeo but Muhyul says he knows very well that just because he wants something he doesn't just get it, and Muhyul warns Dojin if he thought he'd plead w/ him he thought wrong and Muhyul leaves.Meanwhile King Daeso invites Muhyul to drink again and asks Muhyul how the wine tastes and mentions the cups are taken from Namso fortress which they seized. Daeso then says there were lots of useful things at Namso, but he doesn't want to keep Namso forever, and asks Muhyul to trade it with Taeja and Taesan forts that Muhyul seized from them previously. Daeso says Goguryeo has a large army post in Taesan and asks if it's because Muhyul intends to attack Buyeo soon, and Muhyul asks Daeso if he really thinks he would say yes to his request of exchange.Daeso then replies if Muhyul won't accept his offer then he will kill all the people in Namso fortress, and it is the same as Muhyul killing his own people. Daeso warns him to think again but Muhyul firmly states he will decline the offer and the ppl of Namso are prepared to die for their nation. Daeso laughs and says he wonders if the dying ppl will really think so and warns Muhyul they will wait and see. Then afterwards Daeso goes bizerk at Muhyul's arrogant attitude, and Daeso tells Dojin to prepare to launch their attack against Goguryeo as soon as the feast is over. Muhyul tells Guchu and Hwanna chief he intends to reclaim Namso fortress before he returns to Goguryeo and Guchu is worried Daeso might attack him while in Buyeo but Muhyul says he knows Daeso and Dojin won't do such thing. However Baegeuk is watching from a distance and Baegeuk goes up to Dojin to say if they don't kill Muhyul now he will come back and destroy them all, but Dojin dismisses Baegeuk.

Then the chief bodyguard sneaks out of the palace to deliver Muhyul's pouch to Goeyu with a secret plan and a medicine capsule.Dojin tells Hye-Ap and Balso Muhyul has asked to exchange them for Buyeo's hostage in Goguryeo and Dojin states he already declined because he wants them to give him intelligence about Goguryeo. Hye-Ap laughs, do you really think we would give you that? Dojin replies he knows it won't be easy, but in two days time Muhyul will be leaving Buyeo and it is against Buyeo law to kill anyone during the feast period but he's not afraid to break that law and Dojin warns them to think carefully about Muhyul's survival. Meanwhile Baegeuk goes to meet Maeggwang and convinces him to lead him to the deposed crowon prince of Yangmaek w/ promise that he would reward Maeggwang later on. When the chief bodyguard returns to Muhyul, Muhyul instructs him to go at once to Mokdan fortress, and together with the governor there lead the army there toward Namso fortress to prepare to attack. Muhyul says they are to attack on the same day that they leave Buyeo, and Muhyul says he must succeed at the mission or else the ppl of Namso will all be slaughtered. Just then Goeyu, Maro together with Mahwang and Gongchan follow the secret plan Muhyul gave them, and soon, Dojin is told the prisoners killed themselves. Dojin rushes to confirm Hye-Ap and Balso are not breathing and Dojin yells at his subordinate who claim the two killed themselves in order not to burden King Muhyul. Next, Balso and Hye-Ap's bodies are taken out of the jail and left in the wilderness, and Goeyu and company who are waiting nearby run to fetch the bodies at once. Maro says they must move quickly and the two bodies are then taken to their hideout. When Balso and Hye-Ap still don't awake Goeyu gets worried and wonders if something has gone wrong w/ the poison they took which is supposed to detox on its own. But just then Hye-Ap opens her eyes and Balso does too soon after. Hye-Ap asks what happend and Goeyu says the king has saved them.

Maro runs back to the palace and informs Muhyul their mission was a success and Muhyul sighs a breath of relief, and tells Maro to continue the next step. Then, Muhyul goes to see Daeso and thanks Daeso for their protection and Daeso says if Muhyul gives Taesan fortress to them a war can be avoide, but Muhyul says he has not changed his mind, and a war is inevitable. Daeso is furious, and Muhyul prepares to leave Buyeo but on his way out Dojin comes up to him and the two talk alone again. Dojin tells Muhyul Hye-Ap and Balso killed themselves overnight and Muhyul says it's Dojin's loss to fail to save the Buyeo hostage over personal grudge, and Muhyul says now a war is inevitable between their nations and when they meet again in battlefield Dojin will not only lose his army he will also be faced against the Buyeo subjects Dojin abandoned. The Goguryeo group leaves the Buyeo palace, while Maro meets up with Yeonhwa and tells her if she's afraid he'll find another way, but Yeonhwa says she'll do it. Maro then apologizes for getting her involved, but Yeonhwa says not to worry she's happy she can do something for Goguryeo. Yeonhwa who is dressed as a Buyeo palace maid, then heads to Yeon's residence and tells the guard there the king has summoned Yeon and Hodong. The guard says w/out Dojin's order it is not possible and the guard sends another troop to go ask Dojin, and Yeonhwa tells her maid to go and report to the king about the guard's disobedience, and the guard is afraid and tells her to follow him. Yeonhwa is taken before Yeon, and Yeon asks if the Goguryeo envoy has left and Yeonhwa replies yes. However Yeon says she won't go today and tells Yeonhwa to go back and tell the king she'll come by tomorrow instead. Yeonhwa is thrown off by this but leaves after giving Yeon the sac from the king.

Yeon opens it and sees the figurine Muhyul carved for her and Yeon realizes who Yeonhwa is and runs out to say she'll come w/ her. The guard says w/out Dojin's permission they can't leave, and tells Yeon to wait for the other guard to return w/ Dojin's permission but Yeon says it's too cold for Hodong to wait and if the guard makes her wait more Hodong might get sick and he'll be blamed for it and the guard then allows Yeon to go with Hodong and also Yeonhwa. As Yeon passes by, Dojin comes and Yeon sees Dojin but he doesn't see him. Then after a while, Yeon hesitates and hands Hodong to Yeonhwa and tells the men she forgot something in the residence for Hodong and tells Yeonhwa to go ahead w/ Hodong. Yeonhwa shakes her head in fear but Yeon keeps her composure and leaves them. Meanwhile Dojin is furiuos and orders for a search all around the fortress, and when Goeyu and Maro find Yeonhwa with Hodong they ask about Yeon and Yeonhwa says she's not sure why Lady Yeon left suddenly. Maro then tells Goeyu to hurry and escort Hodong to Muhyul, while he stays behind to find Yeon.

As Muhyul and his group pass through the gates of Buyeo fortress, Yeon stays from a distance and watches with tears as she remembers the last time he saw her in the hut and how he asked her to be by his side and how they consumated their love that day. Finally Maro catches up to Yeon and asks her to hurry and go w/ him, but Yeon says she will stay behind in Buyeo, or else she will bring more trouble if she goes by Muhyul's side. Maro says only Yeon can heal the wounds in Muhyul's heart and pleads but Yeon is firm and tells Maro to go back to Muhyul, after asking about Hodong's well-being. Maro says Hodong by now should be in Muhyul's embrace and Yeon leaves.Outside Buyeo fort, Muhyul reunites with Balso and Hye-Ap who apologize for their failure and ask for punishment but Muhyul says he's glad to see them and asks them not to do anything w/out his permission from now on. Then Goeyu comes with Hodong and Muhyul holds his son for the first time. Muhyul asks about Yeon and Goeyu says Maro went to fetch her after she left in the middle of the escape but before Muhyul can ask more an attack ruptures led by Yangmaek deposed prince, and Baegeuk watches the happening from behind the weeds, and Baegeuk is startled to see Hye-Ap and Balso alive. Then Baegeuk watches the Yangmaek force defeated and Baegeuk hurries to flee. Balso spots him and is about to go after him but Hye-ap says they have to hurry abd cross the border. Baegeuk returns to Dojin's side and tells him how he saw Hye-Ap and Balso still alive. Dojin's man also confirms the corpses they left in the forest are gone, and Dojin is pissed he got tricked. Just then another man comes to tell Dojin Lady Yeon has returned and Dojin rushes to her room to see her there sitting and Dojin asks where Hodong is. Yeon replies she already sent Hodong to Goguryeo to be w/ his father King Muhyul and Dojin shouts he told her he was gonna raise him as his own, but Yeon says it's time he forget about Hodong and escape from his hatred of Muhyul, and Dojin tears up.

Then Maro reunites with Muhyul et all and Maro says he tried but failed to persuade Yeon to come and Muhyul says say no more. Muhyul says he knows Yeon stayed behind in order to contain Dojin's wrath, and Yeon is trying to avoid seeing Dojin and Muhyul crossing their swords at each other but unfortunately that is inevitable. When Muhyul returns to Goguryeo, Yiji's maid rushes to tell her the news, but Yiji's joy is dimmed by the news that Muhyul brought back w/ him Prince Hodong. However Yiji puts on a fake smile and goes to greet Muhyul's return. Seryu holds Hodong and tells Hodong not to worry she will fill the empty spot left by his mother and Yiji pretends to be happy to see him. Yiji then holds Hodong and follows Muhyul into her room and tells him how regrettable that Yeon couldn't come w/ them, and Yiji says as a woman she pities Yeon's fate and promises Muhyul she will raise Hodong well, and compliments on how cute and sweet Hodong is like his name. Muhyul thanks her for understanding his heart, and Muhyul leaves to tend to the war matter, as Buyeo forces have left the Buyeo fort toward Goguryeo border. When Muhyul leaves to meet w/ his subjects, Yiji drops Hodong on a chair and tells him he'll never ever get to see his mom ever again and Hodong cries but Yiji shouts at him not to cry and vows for as long as she lives she will never allow his mother to enter their nation or to see King Muhyul.

Back in Buyeo Daeso and Dojin who are furious to learn Muhyul recaptured Namso fort prepare to launch an all-out battle against Goguryeo, with Dojin leading their central army and in Buyeo Muhyul also prepares for the big face down against Buyeo. Muhyul tells his commanders in this war only one nation will stand at the end and Muhyul instructs everyone to prepare for their departure. That night Yeonhwa goes to see Maro and returns the hairpin to him, saying she doesn't wish to see the loss of another person she's fond of, and Yeonhwa tells Maro to take the pin, and to come back alive from the war and then give it back to her again and Maro takes it and promises her he will come back alive to give the pin back to her. Then Yeonhwa leaves but turns around to say she'll be waiting and Maro is emotional and runs up to hug her and he promises again he'll be back so she won't suffer another loss. Meanwhile, Muhyul goes to see the sleeping Hodong and Muhyul prepares to depart for war against Buyeo led by Dojin.

Muhyul: "father, your son now leaves for battle. i will build the grand nation u dreamed of as i expand over buyeo to reclaim the old land we lost.. our paradise. please give me strength."

well, it's almost the end for daeso! in real history, I think he was either the last king or the second to last king. But I think for the sake of the drama, Muhyul is just going to conquer buyeo in the next battle. ONE WEEK OF WAITING -______- :.sigh.: I hope yeon and muhyul end up together

But Muhyul left Buyeo, because Yeon was not come along as his plan.

The script portayed Muhyul as the most stupid man in the world. He married a Biryu woman. But he gave her very inhumae treatment, by neglecting her. :tongue2: :tongue2: :tongue2: Even he did not love her, he can show as resposible husband..none! What he was doing? His father tried the marriage as union between Royal clan and Biryu tribe. But he is destroyng this effort. I do not blame Yiji. Any woman in the world will react same. And the wost, Muhyul never check what his Queen is doing, he should not forget Queen came from Biryu.

Yiji was step-mother to Hodong. He was greatest threat to the Queen. Giving Hodong to Queen was like Muhul put his son under tiger's claw! Very unreasonable move.

2 episodes left, have to watch whatever they show.

i think cuz they twisted too much truth from the history and only 2 episodes left they have to kinda rush the storyline. so it's a little illogical.

also the so-called poison that makes you look like you're dead but you awake. ok i've seen this type of thing mentioned in old chinese wuxia drama too but is it even medically possible?

BWAHAHAHAHAHAAAAA! Chubalso is good, I'll go into the corner with him. But I liked the strapping Haemyoung better. He's pretty dead though so that might be gross. Dojin...has some potential. Something to be said for bad boy firecrackers on the edge I think. Sagu's toady, yeah, him too.
