-Was supposed to be a member of Kpop legendary group, H.O.T (debut-1996), but due to parents' forbiddance, dropped out of group.

-Lived in the United States for some time (Name was Jason in the US, SM Ent. encouraged name change to Andy)

-Due to personal circumstances, Andy did not participate in Shinhwa's fourth album "Hey, Come On", but he eventually returned for the group's fifth album

-Ideal woman is Kim Tae Hee and/or SNSD's Yoona

-Heart dance is a Korean trademark dance among stars

-Is quite popular for reenactment of Jo In Sung's famous scene from What Happens in Bali

-Birthday date is controversial; Legal documents show birthday is 12/21/81 while official company reports show birthday is 1/21/81

-Used to have a U.S. citizenship, but gave it up a few years ago.

-Enlisted in the military on January 11, 2010 and discharged on October 31, 2011.
