If they speculate it as the ring from JH, I'm not so sure about size.. The ring must be giant size will be considered heavy if she put it as a pendant. At least, DS can't hide her necklace form her neckline, since the ring is heavy and pulling down the necklace. Like I discussed with @moonkeeper

And if it is kind of pendant.. are you sure it's JH's? ^^

 

I think it's a type of  "Locket Pendant Necklace Chain" which we can put memoriable photograph in.

With OST part 10 was released today, JH – DS shippers think that it connects to JH-DS relationship.

I have another idea. Maybe I’ll be called “delusion” but it’s OK. I want share my opinion here.

We saw:

the group gave Taek a music tape on his birthday 

the group gave Jung Hwan a ball on his birthday

So, what about our Duk Sun??? Did they give her a gift or not?  

Taek – the person who  always care for her. Did he give her gifts on her birthday or not? I hope Taek gave her a special birthday gift  individually in 1988 year . Maybe Taek did … but  PDshin didn’t show to us.

(I hope we’ll get a flashback  about that.)

I can’t  imagine that JH gave  her a birthday gift  individually in 1988 year. It doesn’t look like JHwan at that time. All of  us know that DS birthday in August, and JH just beginning have feeling for her from October 1988 year.

About the birthday gifts scene, I want to share my thought here

* JB’s talking with Duksun about Mi Ok’s hobbies (  Ep 16 )

-DS : Favourite colour is Yellow

        Favourite season is Winter

        Favourite food is steamed wheat flour cake

        Her birthday is April 3… It’s coming soon

-JB : What gift I should give on her birthday?

-DS : About material life, she’s no lack of anything

        So, let’s give her a gift from your heart

And then, Jung Bong’s folding 1000 paper cranes to present for Mi Ok

( oh, JB’s really so romantic. ^^)

* Review Ep 14

Mi ok: Did you give him the present. I thought it was pretty.

DS: It was Jung Hwan’s birthday, I bought him a shirt. It’s was pink shirt. Man Ok picked it out.

DS  know about Mi Ok very clear. what color/ season/ food… Mi Ok likes

But she doesn’t know that JH doesn’t like Pink color.--- That’s so strange, because they are grown up together from the childhood.

I don't see the deep connection between them…Although she doesn’t know his hobbies, at least she could try to know it. She could ask him : “ what do you want for birthday” or ask Jung Bong.

Why she doesn’t ?

DS acts towards him just a teenager crush… I don’t feel that she’s  really falling for JH.

P/s : In next episode, i really want to know more about Taek

- why he decide not go to High School

- when did he start smoke

- flashback about their middle school period. i think he start have feeling with DS at that time

Ep 16 title is  "Life is ironic - 1" , so Ep 17 title is  "Life is ironic - 2"

I don't think that a time jump will start at ep 17. Maybe, at the end of ep 17 (or start at ep 18)

I think a half of Ep 17 will continue in 1989 

- Taek and JH ‘ll talk each other about their feelings with DS

- Taek's Dad will confess with SW'mum

- We will know what career DS likes

- Taek can't confess with DS directly, but he need some movements to make her heart jump

* at least he need say to her " DS ah, don't treat to me like a kid any more. I’m a man now" ^^

 

* Taek should talk with her about what career she dreams about, give to her an encouragement. He need hug her and say “ I’ll always support you”

 

…

 

- DS will know two guy’s feeling to her before the jump time
