    I love it when a drama is so good that it makes search high and low in my memory for my soompi password :heart:

    I've been enjoying the drama very much and I can't believe we're almost at the end. This past month has been a pleasure! I admit that when I first read that this drama was written by the DOTS/Heirs writer, I was hesitant to try it since I didn't enjoy them at all, but Gong Yoo had been picking good projects for 2016 so I chose to trust in him instead :blush: I'm not an avid actor/actress follower but I think it's impossible to NOT know about Lee Dong Wook - I was very surprised to find out he had taken a second lead role and my curiosity grew. I'm shocked that he was rejected multiple times but command his passion for acting and his perseverance. It's very hard to imagine someone else playing the Grim Reaper role because he's doing such a wonderful job.

     

    Has anyone noticed that in the still pictures of the King there seems to be a queen in front of him? Off towards the bottom right. Could it be that he got married again or his queen stuck around as a ghost? :bawling:

    Hey everybody!

    I really like the chemistry these two have going on and definitely think that they should put it to good use in a later project!

    As for the shipping and the age difference...I had a classmate/group member last spring semester from South Korea who was preparing to get married over the summer to a guy she had been dating since she was 16...and he was twenty-two/three? I don't remember the exact age, but the reason I still remember this is because of the shock me and the rest of the group got when she casually mentioned it. I guess it was a cultural thing? She and the other Korean native in our group seemed so non-plussed about it. Also, looking at the Korean entertainment industry, there's SO many older actors dating/being married to young actresses/singers. Look at Suzy and Lee Minho (who's seven years older), they began dating when she was a couple of months into her twenties...

    Which I still raise an eyebrow at. They were already vacationing a month into dating? Probably started dating while she was nineteen.

     

    Are these two dating? I wouldn't know. Could they date? Probably, if they had the consent of the parents, as it works in various countries.

    My heart stopped when I saw BY died but the next post revived him so :lol: A rollercoaster of emotions passed over me!

     

    I can't believe we're in the second to last episode and our OTP semi-had a scene together. One. Not even together together :lol:

     

    At this point, I'm indifferent to Hayeon. The marriage can be put to rest now. No way is she ever marrying the crown prince after she poisoned him...even unknowingly. You still handed him that tea, girl! Say adios to being his wife. :w00t: Unless this is one of Lee Yeong's supper ninja plots, but if it's not and she did do it accidentally...after doing everything he can to stall that wedding and being set on having Raon at his side, will he actually take any steps to having Hayeon keep her title as his bride-to-be? I doubt it since the only bride he wants is Raon :wub:

     

    Episode seems a little rushed and very tightly packed. We still have a lot to settle in one last episode!

    teacher da san definitely needs to swoop in with like a mountain of evidence against the kim clan and a spectacular decree clearing the hong family and since the hong family is like the face of the rebellion then they need to marry the prince and raon to secure peace! :w00t: 

     

    it somehow always turns to like this with dramas, even really good ones like mdbc. everything is smooth sailing and you think that you'll get to the end without your anxiety levels rising a bit, but nooooo :lol: even with good dramas you end up panicking about everything that could go wrong and deprive your drama couple of a satisfying happy ending :crazy:

    hello, i just had to log back in to my deserted soompi account for this! :w00t:

    the only way i will not be bothered at all with a time jump would be if this raon and lee yeong get their happy ending and then their ~reincarnations~ meet in the streets of seoul. being fated to be together no matter how many lives they live and all that! :lol:

    but if they're separated and don't get to be together as they are now then i'll be really disappointed because a time jump in that sense is just...nope.

    and raon is still rocking her male clothing :lol:

    Haha it's wonderful how majority of the people here are also from the YiBi thread! It's like we all started on this journey of Nam Joo Hyuk together... and hopefully in the future when he becomes more successful and achieves his dreams we'll still be here :) 

    I think that being a minority has really made me support Nam Joo Hyuk all the more because I feel that he's been so unfairly treated. Definitely feel that he will always have a special place in my heart :wub:

    Anyway new update! I love his brows :)

    I also think that going back to being a second-lead would be better for him to continue to grow, but I'm not unhappy that he ended up taking the lead role in School 2015. As far as lead roles go I think Yian was a good character to test the waters :) And he is not horrible. A lot of people are so ':rolleyes:' with their bashing. I can't stand those kinds of comments. He's still very green, but not downright horrible.

    After his appearance on AKMU's music video, I HAD to find out more. This was actually the first video I saw of him. There's more on that same channel! :D

    He's still very new to acting (Yian is legit his second drama role ever) but I think with the right nourishment (don't fail us here YG!) he can improve and continue improving. You have no idea how hard I roll my eyes at some of the comments (about his facial expression in particular) people are making about him. I'm like…???? I mean he's currently not in line to receive an Oscar, but he's not terrible. I don't even bother responding to those comments because there is a difference between giving a critique and just being downright hateful. Some of these comments were made by some online people I was familiar with that I thought were rational, but in the end you'll always get to the point of seeing someones true colors. Needless to say, my opinion of other people's commentary and critiquing  has suffered a blow ^_^

    I hope that he's aware (and he should be, he has the fangirls) that there are people that think that he can have a bright future in the acting department if he continues to work hard. And it's good that he acknowledges this too. He's a really sweet and humble guy! ^_^

    And he really does have a boyish charm to him that makes him perfect for those high school dramas, but he also has a very mature feel to him that will allow him to venture into dramas aimed at adults when his hair is up. I'm really not kidding :lol: The way they style his hair and dress him really makes a difference :o
