    They're both basic use Desktops. They're about equally the same. Not much performance increase from either one. Unless the unit is custom built. Flip a coin and pick one. I personally would advise against HP products due to the massive amount of HP crap that fails that I see at work everyday. It's 'back to school' week and the amount of HP failed products I'm seeing have tripled (daily intake is about 300 units). Bad on HP. Even worse on me.... I have to fix it :(

    I've never bought an HP desktop before. I just need something for my mom to play around with and our old Gateway is super slow.

    ugh so john teshing annoyed. first she threw away my review sheet and now she throws away my grocery list. if I ask her about it, she'll have no idea what I'm talking about because my mini cooper just magically disappears while her crap is littered all over the computer desk. why am i john teshing looking at a loofah right now? there is a LOOFAH on the computer desk.

    Yeah his acting was so bad that even the group who subbed the drama left comments about his terrible acting... at least in the version I watched.

    Kissez came in to regulate, but it only seemed like a bad manner because of how short and concise she was about the rules. When dealing with the masses... you can't be short and concise... you have to be thorough. That's why Obama has to make speeches as president... instead of going on TV and saying a few sentences and then walk out. You just don't tread the masses like that.     I don't need to molly-coddle these Soompiers. A few of them are regulars on this thread - they should have known better than to spam it with pictures of each other.

    Okay, since kissez* is obviously being too kind to your little clique, I'll put this in a straightforward fashion. It's highly annoying to see net idol threads become into your personal chat room in which you can spam your pointless conversations that nobody else wants to read, while you guys fish compliments amongst yourself going like 'omgzz i'm not a net idol *_* tee hee, and even though we say we don't think we're net idols, we're still in this thread for some bizarre reason LOL LOL' It's not only asinine, but obnoxious. There are many lurkers in threads like these, and most of them look for pictures, not the log of your MSN conversations.

    Be honest, you're not being sarcastic, Adonis - you think you're hot mini cooper. If you guys want to become net idols, then do it in an appropriate fashion.     kissez*: thank you for trying to uphold the forum rules, but you could have done it in a nicer manner. We Vietnamese people are very nice, ask politely and it will be done quicker. I wouldn't mind your post so much if there was a "please" or a "thank you" here and there.

    Actually this is really unecessary, but I think your point is, because that person is a soompi member, he/she cannot be allowed to become a net idol, no matter how good looking the person is, right?

    No, Vivi and others are Soompiers and have been posted because they meet the net idols 'standards' that are clearly stated on the front page. Being a "soompier" has nothing to do with it. Posting "random" people/soompiers is against the rules.

    Actually, that rule implies that we're not supposed to post pictures of random people but we did have a agreement of the majority of the members who frequent the Vietnamese net idols thread to post these so-called "random Soompiers" up. I think as long as the members agree to allow someone's picture to be posted, then it's fine. We did agree to not post a net idol's picture up because a lot of people did not want to see her pictures, so there shouldn't be anything wrong with doing the vice versa.

    Also, since you are obviously mature and older than us, you should be able to take a joke and know better than to call someone a kiddo; it really degrades the persona.

    Maybe instead of just posting the images, you should have gotten the consent of the real MAJORITY first?

    Nah, she just don't want normal teens on soompi to become net idols, just simply because they are random soompiers. It's alright if she called me a kiddo, i don't mind that much since the human kind is so HYPOCRITICAL.

    What is a VIETNAMESE Net Idol?

    A Vietnamese net idol is similar to any other net idols--they achieve their popularity through the internet. The difference between a Vietnamese net idol to that of other countries' is that Vietnamese net idols are often people who "have made a name for themselves by being a socially active teen icon through the press and online community" (quoted from truffles14).

    We got spams of random people that were NOT well known online and it was VERY ANNOYING for our members to keep telling people to stop. So NO. You may NOT post pictures of people you know. UNLESS. UNLESS, they are WELL KNOWN ONLINE. That is, they better have some sort of popularity and pictures of them floating online or atleast 1375309435346 people stalking their blogs/pages. THEN, we will allow you to post their pictures.

    You really should be fine if you use common sense. As for crossing the street. The trick is to never run. Calmly make your way across at a pace where the riders can see you and know to move around you. I did that when I was in Vietnam and got around everywhere no problem.

    Dealing with the beggers is simple. Just do that blank spacey face look and continue on with whatever you've been doing. They know you aren't a chump after that and won't bother you.

    I wish there was an emoticon that could adequately express the way I feel right now.

    Uh... so aside from pick-pockets, necklace/purse snatching thieves, bands of beggers crowding you, taxi cab drivers that will drive off with your stuff, and potentially being run over to death on the bustling streets...what are some of the better aspects of Vietnam?

    Like, what did you guys enjoy doing while you were over there/what does Vietnam have to offer?
