I don't think he expected her to be his bride, as you can see he is developing feeling for her, before he knew it was her he wanted to die, because I guess the physical pain of the sword is still there, now that he knows it's her, he doesn't want to hurt her, anyone can see she has feelings for the goblin or that he is her hope, would you want to be the person to kill the one you like ? Therefore I guess it's better to disappear , tha to make feeling and attachment grow , then when it's really time to go he can't let her go, the will hurt both of them then, so it's better to let go before it gets to far, they get any deeper.
Also he can be referring to disappear by tricking her to kill him by pulling out the sword because like in the preview he said that's the goblins bride job, basically to end his suffering.he won't be able to just travel she can call up on him any time by blowing a light , there I an guessing what he means by disappearing is dying ?
But who knows it's all our speculation, let's just enjoy and watch it unfold

The price I think they might face @meifang89 is probably the fact that after the grim reaper falls for her, he looked like he loved her before and was brainwashed, she will be his punishment, there might be a point in the drama she hates him either by him rememberin his past, the guilt will stop him maybe , or he just might do something like the past, he is a grim reaper after all.

The ghost can't tell her where to look because they themselves cannot see it, it's only the goblins bride who can, I can't remember who I read pointed it out , @itzibizzyspider I think, I agreel that she saw the sword in the beginning , the fact that she saw it and made her think he was a ghost. Plus he never told her it was a sword he had in his chest she pointed out that fact herself , I am probably guessing that sword shows itself a certain points, we just don't know when yet.
Also at the kidnapping was there another point where the tattoo or birthmark on her neck glowed again ?

I loved today's episode, but is like after every episode I am getting more paranoid of JJ''s bestfriend , he is lie the good guy that you need to be constantly watching yir back for, he reminds me of JJ stepbrother. I mean he is not bad, but like because of the money/riches it makes me think he will walk into that direction.
Who is rotten teeth concubine? JJ stepmom , JJ best friend, is the boring girl ( I'm giving everyone nicknames because I can't Remember their name atm.) ?
Also I believe if there is anyone to catch our mermaid in her true form, it might be either boring girl, JJ best friend, or our killer.

Based on the preview I don't think she ended up saying I love you in return, I'm glad that the secretary is only injured based on what I heard in the preveiw.
I don't know how I feel about JJ friend that keeps reporting everything about our mermaid . He make's me feel not a ease like he will be the cause of something.

The drama is great!
I an guessing the goblin can give and take life from what I have seen, whereas the grim reaper takes or rather guides the soul to whatever place he or she belongs, the goblin is his own boss while the grim still takes orders from his higher up, I'm guessing both of them have immortality, but I'm not really sure that's what I have put together, let's just say if the writer what's it that way, this is the way it should be, it's a fantasy drama it's doesn't have to be factual.

I don't think some of the younger generation understand how charming and sexy Gong Yoo is and his acting ablity backs him up just as much, I'm just saying that because I read some comments on some of the sites even you tube about him, not likin him blah blah blah.

Evil King's counselor reincarnation as a grim reaper, looks like all the evIL souls are grim reapers, just waiting to create more havoc, I'm praying that he is not our grim reapers sunbae or the one who orders him.
