  1. I just finished watching Episode 8 and felt happy and sad at the same time. Lee Gun is so aware of Mi Young's feelings and cares for her deeply. His expression and actions shows it so clearly. I guess he is feeling sad and guilty at the same time when Sera turns up. The turning point in the relationship would probably be when he realised that what he felt for Sera was nothing compared with the overwhelming love he has for Mi Young. They did share something special from the time that they first met. I like to thing that Mi Young is Lee Gun's soul mate.

From each episode, we can see how Lee Gun is preoccupied with Mi Young's feelings and the sense to protect her always. Why would any man do that if he did not have the slightest interest in a woman?

Lee Gun/Jang Hyuk cracked me up with his expression on the bed with Mi Young. As one of you rightfully pointed out, he looks like he was in pain or painfully aroused. LOL. He was suppressing his strong need to cuddle and kiss Mi Young :)

Mi Young being such a meek character, is ever so considerate of putting others before her. But I sense she has a strong and stubborn streak as well and Lee Gun brings out the best in her and vice versa.

My perspective is that we will see a stronger and determined Mi Young once she has suffered a major heartbreaking episode, I hope it's not going to be a miscarriage... Lee Gun will probably have to win her all over again with Sera out of the picture. The story could have a different twist, maybe Sera would be the one to bring them back together.

The villians in the story - the stepmother and son are surprisingly likeable. They seem harmless as well even now. Who knows, they could also be reformed by Mi Young and may reconcile with Lee Gun and granny.

In fact, all the characters so far are likeable. This is one drama where I don't think I can dislike anyone yet because it is such a joy to watch these characters portraying their roles so well.

Like you, I can't wait to watch how the story developes. It is such a refreshing KDrama where the leads are not your typical young, drop dead gorgeous individuals who are dressed to kill. Jang Hyuk and Jang Nara are very attractive in their own unique ways and so far, the clothing that they are wearing suits their characters very well.

Sorry, I just can't stop gushing how much I like this drama.

Can someone please share the the name and singer of this OST?

    Thanks a lot!

  3. I just finished watching Ep 7 with Subtitles and what an episode it was! Lee Gun is the ideal husband that most women would dream of... Awfully Rich, Good Looking, Loving and Caring, a Family Man!!! What more could you ask?

Jang Hyuk acting as Lee Gun makes this character so refreshing and unique. His laughter... so infectious, I couldn't help to smile/laugh whenever he laughs on screen. I couldn't help but adore this wonderful character... just thinking of his tender loving care towards Mi Young gives you a fuzzy feeling. :) And Jang Nara breathes life to Mi Young. It is just so fun to watch their on screen chemistry and the romcom.. it's good for the soul :)

Every Episode so far has been full of surprises and just the right amount of humour to go along, thanks for all the recaps and stills/gifs. You just made made so much fun to catch snippets of the episode while waiting for the full version.

If Lee Gun is starting to care and fall for Mi Young, I can't wait to see how protective and loving he is going to be. What we are seeing is just a tip of the iceberg and it's freaking HOT HOT HOT!

Lucky Mi Young for having an equally hot and rich Daniel Oppa to protect her as well. She's one SUPER DUPER POST-IT GIRL..!

    :))

  4. Hi All,

I've been lurking since page 1 and decided to join in the fun! :)

Fated to Love You is such an addictive KDrama and I loved the story and especially the Jangs! I have never watched any of their dramas and I was blown away by this drama. They are so endearing and I love every minute of the story. I've watched the Taiwanese version and there is no comparison..maybe I wasn't really interested in the male lead but that's my opinion lol.

Thank you for sharing the recaps and the short clips. It is so great! :)

I am so looking forward to reading all of your comments and joining in the fun.

  5. To @ LaDadaista and everyone who has shared the photos of Min Ho's FM, thank you for sharing!

I am always awed by Min Ho's drop dead gorgeous looks and Shin Hye's beauty. They are so blessed in so many ways! Like all of you, I don't think his FM needs to show so much footage of Shin Hye unless it means a lot to him. The production team could have come up with other short clips or montages of other dramas that Min Ho has acted previously, why just focus solely on Shin Hye and only her? Hmmm, that's enough for us to feel so excited, this is not just one FM, all his other FMs are focused on her... so don't blame us for being delusional.. Min Ho still thinks he is Kim Tan and Shin Hye is Cha Eun Sang :x

I  feel like he is showing his affirmation that he likes someone and that  person is HER...she is constantly on his mind and by showing her footage during his FM, it feels like she is there with him (awww, what a hottie and loving). All that is missing is Min Ho's open declaration that he is in fact dating Shin Hye...

    :-*

I miss MinShin being together and I hope they can have a joined FM soon, is that asking too much??

Park Shin Hye revealed the story behind her hug with Kim Woo Bin that was captured on camera during a dinner party.

In “The Heirs,” which ended on December 12, Kim Woo Bin played Choi Young Do, a bad boy who finally experiences his first love with Park Shin Hye’s character, Cha Eun Sang. However, Eun Sang’s heart belonged to Kim Tan (played by Lee Min Ho) and Young Do’s story of his first love turned out to be a sad one.

However, a video clip of Kim Woo Bin strongly hugging Park Shin Hye delightfully surprised netizens and fans, who wished for Young Do and Eun Sang’s love to come true. Recently, Park Shin Hye and Kim Woo Bin both revealed the story behind that hug during their interviews.

Kim Woo Bin revealed, “At the time, the atmosphere was rising and I got hyped up as well. It wasn’t a hug that I initiated but the overall atmosphere was just so fun. The actors had a cake cutting session and Choi Won Young senior even made Tan and Eun Sang hug beforehand. Everyone was having a good time.”

He continued, “Then Choi Won Young said, ‘Since Young Do’s love couldn’t come true in the drama, he needs to at least make it come true here,’ as he made us hug. I couldn’t make the atmosphere come down and it wasn’t a situation where I could give her just a slight hug,” which explains why Kim Woo Bin gave such an intense hug!

Park Shin Hye also explained the situation. She said, “I didn’t only hug Kim Woo Bin. I also hugged Lee Min Ho and there should be a video clip of that too. Since I hugged Min Ho oppa, everyone wanted Young Do to hug me since he couldn’t end up with Eun Sang in the drama.” She continued, “But then Kim Woo Bin started to step back. I wondered why he was doing that but all of a sudden, he ran to me and pulled me to him. I was so shocked,” as she laughed.

Furthermore, the story of how Kim Woo Bin (born in 1989) and Park Shin Hye (a “fast” 1990-er) got to be friends.

Kim Woo Bin revealed, “I actually don’t make friends with 1990-ers. So Shin Hye told me to call her ‘sunbae’ (senior). So I agreed to be friends with her and thank goodness we decided to be friends because I was able to act very comfortably because of that. It became easier to act as I looked into her eyes. Also, since she’s been acting for 10 years, I have a lot to learn from her.”

After hearing his side of the story, Park Shin Hye laughed and said, “Did he really say that? Actually, a close friend of mine works in the beauty industry. Woo Bin knows that friend too and that friend is the one who told Woo Bin about me.”

She continued, “But when he heard that I was a fast 1990-er, I heard he said, ‘How can I be friends with a 1990-er?’ So then I told my friend, ‘Well, if he doesn’t want to be friends then tell him to call me sunbae,’ as a joke. Then Woo Bin agreed to be friends right away,” with a laugh.

Age is an important social factor in Korea. If are born in the same year, you are considered as “friends.” However, there are those with “fast” birthdays. If you are born in January, February or even March, you are considered to have a “fast” birthday and are placed in the same age group as the previous year. This has to do with the fact that Korean schools start the new semester in March.
