Personally, I'd think Kim Bum looks best with Kim So Eun in BOF, not with either of the above.

Yup. Already watched them but honestly, Kim Bum did not appear to be a hottie in both movies. He didn't steal the spotlight like he did in BOF. You can also see him in two dramas: High Kick and Rude Women, and definitely East of Eden which I'm pretty sure you did.t0o bad.so what's his role in death bell?..yeah. i was once watching EOE but i skipped some parts of their childhood..and now the totally story..i'll watch it soon since my summer is kind of boring.lol. =D how about you?finished watching the drama?

I have received several complaints about posters here who post negatively and making rude sarcastic comments (bordering on bashing) on some actors (KHJ in particular) & not forgetting, the production team; being rude to fellow members and fanfictious comments/speculations.
Please express your opinion about the drama in a constructive manner and be considerate of how other posters/readers may feel. This is not the place for aspiring drama critics.
BOF has 2 more eps to go so please focus on the drama itself. I do not wish to HAVE to close this thread before the drama ends.

Even if they weren't teens, then chances are a portion of the 10,000 will most likely be young adults or adults (unless 5-10 year olds are watching this show and voting online). That percentage is an abnormal response.As for higher standards...that statement is laughable. Teens, young adults, adults all have hormones and hormone levels that fall within small standard deviations of each other across the board.
If that poll seriously represents the opinion of viewers (who I assume fall within the certain age bracket), then that is a strange scenario and brings more serious questions to mind about the society.

Sorry for cutting your post.I 110% agree with you. I understand that some of the audiences world wide are under 18 years old, but for god sakes we deserve some REAL kissing and at least HAND HOLDINGS. How could you portray your love/affection by STARING at each other eyes ALL DAY LONG? That's just unrealistic. Even kids in elementary school even show MORE affection to their crushes than JP and JD. Is it hard to ask for ONE real kiss?
Yes, we understand that this drama is fictional and not real, but also this is a forum. WE are allowed to express what we think or what our thoughts are. So again I do agree with you that we shouldn't feel apologetic in any way for wanting that.

rebby,sorry but i dont agree with u^^. why do u think that JP doesnt deserve JD's love. he definitely deserves it.if anyone JD should love, it must be JP.
i my self think that in JH's position, he's much easier to treat JD well as well as protect her. if JP were JH, he could do that too. but the matter here is JP has a evil mom, he has 700.000 employers on his shoulder. JH is quite free, he has no family and his grandfa like JD. he seems to have nothing to do (not JH's fault, but the PD's
) but just follow JD and always appears immediately in front of JD when she has trouble. i know that JP put himself in this dilemma. people say why he has to do that. but he' s just human, a 20-year old guy. he can make mistake, guys. morover, with his characteristics, he can make decision that no one in the world make i want to say that whether what JP is doing is right or not, we havent known yet. we should wait for the answer from the PD about JP. i have strong confidence in him. he never does things without reasonsbut i wonder : if u guys were him, could u do better?

Junpyo is also taking a risk for nothing

both of them are really noble unlike self-centred Junpyo and Jaekyung who just drags the other on a date

and the line in red, if Junpyo were Jihoo... so you just need to imagine Lee Minho face
as Jihoo's role and he's the quiet one who sleeps anywhere he could and pops up whenever Jandi needs help,
isn't that the same as Jandi picking Jihoo?
the way the script is written is a little inconsistent... Junpyo was working in Macao but after he returned to Korea
I don't remember any scene of him working his butt off in the office worrying about the 700,000 staff he needs to keep employed.
so its not quite right to say Jihoo has alot of time and Junpyo doesn't. He'd been following Jaekyung around shopping

Junpyo has also been popping in and out of his roof-top unit next to Jandi's,
popping into her house to eat noodles, trying to cook instant noodles himself,

Anyway, what I gathered from that scene was, when JK, JD and JH were having breakfast, JK said that JP was too embarrassed so he left early. That's exactly what JH saw; JP leaving early. He and JD probably both believed the lies that JK said. I think JH does not also know that JK was rejected, so there really isn't much to tell to JD.
What JK told them during breakfast is what they both believed.

we don't have a timeline of when Jandi saw Jaekyung backhugging Junpyo to the time
she fell asleep on the sofa and to Jihoo seeing Junpyo leaving.
If it happened in the span of 15-30 mins, the chances of Junpyo doing something THAT embarassing with Jaekyung
is relatively low, although possible
i don't think Jihoo knows about what happened in the pool,
but somehow i believed he knows that nothing embarrassing took place

and like what you said, Jihoo believed Jaekyungbut then again, Jihoo knows how much Junpyo loves Jandi...

i'm sure they could twist it to let Jihoo win Jandi as well

i'm a doumyouji-lover since 8/9 years ago when i first watched the anime & later read the manga
in all the previous drama versions, i'd rooted for Tsukasa-Makino pairing
even when i don't have any love for Matsu Jun at all (i find the japanese doumyouji too gay for my liking)
not once did i want Makino to end up with Rui...
but in this Korean version, the script/PD made Rui/Jihoo so much more loveable than in all the other versions
that i'm beginning to pray for a different ending - a Jihoo-Jandi ending.
no doubt the Rui-s are all Makino's guardian angels, Jihoo is much more pro-active here in showing his love for Jandi
which wasn't quite evident in the previous versions, that's probably why I think Jihoo is more deserving of Jandi's love
rather than Junpyo. His way of 'protecting' Jandi through his pact with his mom doesn't (really) justify his love for her.
Of cuz Junpyo loves Jandi alot but by hiding this 'secret arrangement' from Jandi, he's actually giving her alot more
grief and sadness than necessary. I don't understand why he couldn't tell her about it - if Jandi knows about it,
I'm sure she would patiently wait for Junpyo to 'settle' his mom, instead of crying her heart out over
Junpyo's sudden 'change of heart' and also his engagement to Jaekyung. That gives Jihoo alot of opportunities
to get near to Jandi and be her source of consolation and her shoulder to cry on.
In EP19, there's also revelation that Jandi being the lotus, is the key to Jihoo's family bliss.
Deep in my heart I know the monk was referring to Jandi being the bridge to Jihoo-grandpa
and helping them reconcile after 15 years of angst over Jihoo's parents' deaths.
However, I cannot help hoping that Jandi might choose Jihoo later on as the monk also said
Jandi is someone he should cherish. If Jandi will not end up with him and if he later on do get married to
another girl, his wife should be the person to cherish and not someone else's wife/girl...
some folks in the chatroom was also angry with Jihoo for not telling Jandi that he saw Junpyo leaving the resort
and keeping his silence over Jaekyung's lies, many of you Junpyo-Jandi shippers probably feel the same :X
I don't know the reason behind his not-telling-syndrome yet (it might be revealed in later eps? ),
all I can say is that withholding information is not the same as lying, Jihoo didn't make things up like what Jaekyung did,
Jandi doesn't know Jaekyung was rejected by Junpyo, so Jaekyung could have continued fighting for her love instead
of making up lies to her one and only friend - Jandi. If Junpyo ever found out about Jaekyung's lies, he probably
wouldn't care she's a woman and beat her up..
someone mentioned that BOF being adapted from a manga doesn't mean the ending has to be the same...
at the start of this show, i'd also maintained that the ending is definitely Junpyo-Jandi, if its ending otherwise,
KBS/Group8 would be sued by Kamio sensei
But now that I'm rooting for Jihoo-Jandi, I'm seriously hoping that the ending doesn't have to be the same
