I some how found comforting to know that this drama is penned by the 'padam padam' writer. It sort of rang a bell' date=' the colour scheme, the unique lyricism that surrounds every single take. The way the characters are forever stuck in the concept of death, being pawns on a chess board seemingly controlled by others. I agree with you. Honestly i'm kinda hoping that we'll have a happy ending based on padam padam,where the original ending was jung woo sung's kang chil would die but eventually writer noh realized that she can't kill him so she agonized over it and decided to have a more "leave it to the audience" ending, which is a what jung woo sung and the pd kim preferred from the start.
But then writer noh might...

Hello...i've been a lurker to this thread since the beginning...i want to thank everyone because of everyone's sharing i get to know more about this drama...
I really like and admire writer noh's work esp "world's within'. that plus song hye kyo. Although i'm not a fan of melodramas, i gave this drama a go and i'm really glad that i did.
now i understand the great partnership between pd kim and writer noh, i feel so proud of our song hye kyo, and i'm glad to meet one of the best actors in thia generation, jo in sung.
i'm also happy to see that it's like a mini-reunion of worlds within cast.
it's funny to know that pd pyo(shk's good friend and director from fullhouse) introduced shk to writer noh through world's within where pd kim is his assistant. Iris became pd kim's next project. Pd kim and writer noh got together again with padam padam.then now with the winter the wind blows is in a rating battle with iris 2 which is directed by pd pyo.

i guess it is really inevitable...whenever i hear news of shk working during winter nights and almost until the wee hours in the morning, i feel bad for her and hope that her health would not deteriorate...whenever i see a project of shk, i would always be reminded of her hard work like these in today...as much as i wanted to see her, would it be bad to hope that there won't be presscon? although shk handles the press well, i fear that there would still be rude reporters who would try to make an opportunity out of it...she's a tough person but...

yes, Kyo had always been silent and it doesn't mean she wasn't hurt...i always have bad feelings whenever i read those break up rumors and felt so worry for her, it had been constantly and too much...i wanna hug her and cheer her up....perhaps she was hurting much more than we though ...and it wasn't easy for binnie neither...let's look on a brighter side, Kyo does not have to stress out whenever she is out at public, she does not have to answer on any silly Q any more, maybe only in the beginning, but it will die soon.. it allows to give her some spaces, peace in mind which she needs so badly...who knows what happens next...
Maybe i'm the only 1 or 2 here, though i love wb and rooting for their tandem, but i wish she can get times for herself, get back to her normal for the time being, i dont wish to root her for anyone more....
i remember of eden9's considered action when the chinese media reported the break up rumors, and then there's their agency being angry as well whenever they answer such questions...i guess that is one sign of their hurt...yeah, let's look at the brighter side although it will also take time for us to get over this...

I truely hope they are ready for this.. due to their busy schedules they both weren’t able to pay as much attention to one another i guess it was inevitable so let's respect them and believe in them, they are two matured people they know what they want to do with their life..I'm happy that Kyo is doing fine i wish Kyo would visit him sometime

i'm glad that everyone has been supportive here of hb and of each other...thank you everyone...even though not everyone supports shk and hb, i don't understand how someone who claims to be a fan of hb can be so happy that hb has separated from his love one...much more to post about it. by doing so, isn't he being insensitive not only to hb but to other fans as well...
i understand that there are fans of hb who are rooting him to be with another actress, yet have sympathized or have stayed silent...i would also like express my appreciation to them...

Just got hold of news that the marines will be updating Binnie's training for the next few weeks, so those pix above are probably just beginning
I'm sorry, i want to get as much of Binnie as possible, but why did they do that? singling him out and updating his training would only cause more criticisms if that YTN's live broadcast being criticized isn't any indication already. I could only imagine how much more backlash he'd get if the marines are showing him this kind of special treatment?! They're clearly using him to draw more attention towards themselves and marine life, and Binnie is going to burden all the endless talk of "when will JW fever die? i'm getting sick of him". I'm right there with ya buddy, I'm tired of ppl saying tired of Binnie just because other ppl wanted to milk off his popularity to their hearts' contents.'couldn't agree with you more...he's being objectified...sigh...i just wanted the marines to train him as kim tae pyung and not as hyun bin, the secret garden actor...i enjoyed se-ga but he's a great actor who shouldn't be limited to se-ga... although there's nothing wrong with him being described as se-ga actor, it could act as limit in the long run...also, if i'm not mistaken, he wanted to enter the marines quietly but the news was uncontrollable so i'm sure hyun bin just wanted to as normal as possible inside...this special treatment can tarnish his training as a marine not only by others but he himself might have doubts with his training...

chickenbrain i also didn't realize that he's the actor in that movie which i've seen years ago...i've first seen him in ww and then i watched mnikss, comparing the two i saw the difference in acting...although i'm looking forward to watching his other projects like fol,but right not i still don't have the heart since i know that they are heavy dramas...i began to admire him because of his passion to improve his acting, his dedication to his crafts, his character, and his desire not to use short cuts and that includes separating his private life from his public life...

i'm not familiar with choi ji woo but you're right...with hb's and shk's fame and not only their being together is a challenge for many people who would like to take paparazzi pictures of them together...if i'm not mistaken, there were no pictures of them together unofficially...with them not being together, both have the freedom from people's eyes...it's one thing for them to be tied up with work; yet, they can still be able to do things...however, it's another thing for a person to be locked up and not be able to do anything...
yeah, media is scary and sadly, many people are loosely giving out remarks...they say it's freedom or their opinion but i wonder if they will be happy if others will wish them the same...there's power in words...
I can't feel easy about this even though I am just an ordinary person and frankly speaking, their break up has nothing to do with my life. But I feel really regretted, for that HB and SHK could not protect their relationship and it comes to this extent.--'can't help but agree

we're sorry if that's how our posts are perceived which we don't mean to...i believe that our posts are not to encourage hatred against hyun bin or against anyone else...no one knows what really happened except what was announced and that it's a mutual decision...a lot of us believes that hyun bin is hurting just as song hye kyo is hurting...perhaps it would be unfair to put the blame either on shk or hb especially that we're not involved...as for the statements issued by the agency...we are hoping that it's all for the best interest of shk and hb... i follow hb just like i follow shk and they both have a lot of admirable qualities not only with their looks and talents but also with their characters and attitudes...perhaps that's why a lot of us are having a hard to accept the news...

Hello! im quite confused with the date of his discharge cause as far i know in enlisting it takes 2 years right? how come he'll be discharged from marines on December 12, 2012?
i think the date is 06 december 2012...nonetheless, because they know that us fans can only sustain one christmas and new year without him hehehe...
i've read that the whole service/training period is 21 months...i guess, it's usually rounded off to 2 years...unless there are other reasons...

wierd! after the promotions and all those hard work, they have even thought of cutting hye kyo's part...i hope tgm can consider shk's feelings and status as cutting her off after all those promotions that they did, would embarrass her an actress...this does not even include the pain since shk is really serious about her work...
didn't shk try studying martial arts and mandaring and have stayed in china and hk for a long time just to be readily available?

Hello...no, I don't think they will be uploading it on their playlist soon.
Surprisingly, KBS World is airing DotS with English subs with only one week delay; so, viewers could actually watch Ep. 11 and 12 this Wed and Thurs. It also has replays. Viewers can try and catch it based on their schedule uploaded on their site and through their live streaming in YT.
I think this is a very generous gesture by KBS.
