Congratulations Taeyang!
winning the Best Male Singer award was awesome. watching him giving his thank you speech was crazy. he even gave a shoutout to DJ DOC! although i agree with @juang_bb that Solar was the album of the year (not hating on anyone), i'm just so happy that he won something and had the EPIC PERFORMANCE of the night. that was the HIGHLIGHT of the show for me.

[interview] Shaun Evaristo : “Try Dancing Like Me, Like This”Q: Among the musicians you’ve choreographed for, who was the most impressive? In what aspects do you rate them highly?
Shaun Evaristo (Movement Lifestyle): G-Dragon and Taeyang. G-Dragon is a born entertainer with diverse talents, like acting, producing and rap. With such talents, he absorbed choreography with ease as well. With Taeyang, though I coached him in dance, our relationship has already passed that of teacher and student. He’s a friend, or, rather, you can say I’m a fan of Taeyang. His attitude toward learning and practicing dance is incomparable.
Q: If you were to pick a choreo that you were really satisfied with, but which didn’t get the public response that you’d hoped for?
SE: I would pick Taeyang’s “Where U At.” I think it’s because the moves don’t grab you immediately and were somewhat difficult to follow/learn.
Q: If you were to pick one “Dance King” and one “Dance Queen” among the Korean musicians?
SE: Dance Queen is Boa. I really like her music, and I’d love to have a chance to work with her. I’ve even thought of a different concept for her. 2NE1’s Minzy would be like the Dance Princess. She has talent at a young age, but she’s humble and has great potential. Dance King is Taeyang. My friends in America call him “Tae-Daddy.” They believe he’s going to do big things not only in Korea, but also internationally.
Jeon Hong-Bok (Dance Team “Yama” Leader): For male, Taeyang. For female, I want to pick After School’s Gahee. I’ve heard that Taeyang practices constantly. He doesn’t have a big build, and yet he completely owns the stage. I think long arms are a big advantage. I worked with Gahee when she was a young dancer, and even then she stood out. Her moves are clean and powerful at the same time.

The ranking is based on the data on streaming and downloads gathered by Bugs Music from November 5, 2009 – November 3, 2010. BIG BANG sues publisher over unauthorized magazine
Korean group BIG BANG has filed a lawsuit with the Tokyo District Court against Oakla Publishing over unauthorized use of their image and name in a magazine. The group is seeking an injunction against the sale of the magazine, along with approximately 30 million yen in damages.
In October, Oakla released a special magazine titled "Saishun K-POP Star Tokubetsu Henshu BIG BANG." According to the lawsuit, Oakla did not obtain permission to use the images and names of the group's members. Because this is a commercial use of their identity, it would count as an infringement on their right to publicity.
Oakla was unable to comment by the time of the news report, due to the absence of the person in charge of the project.
This is not the first time that the publisher has been sued for unauthorized use of someone's likeness. Korean actor Bae Yong Joon also filed a suit previously with the Tokyo District Court, and last month Oakla was ordered to pay 4.4 million yen in damages.

And now on 2010 taeyang with his i need a girl single has done the same thing and maintain its position. Untruthful and cheeky, a man's selfish point of view! A woman who pretends to be shy while actually she's a tough one, a woman who behave in front of men but when there are only two of them she'll act the opposite? All the fans must've been thinking 'is there a girl like that in this world?' And they must've hoping they can be one!
The reason why for this solo single taeyang have to use that 'topic' is because if he have to put away the couple dance coreography it'll be very regretable. Taeyang is a singer who can catch his fans' ironical cravings. Just like several years ago, do you remember the time when Bigbang and Wondergirls' couple dance performance become true? At that time from comment like "i'm cool.. i can tolerate it.." to comment from a nuna who have to hold her tears back "youngbae today nuna should drink one bottle of soju", we can see those VIPs agony. On this song 'I Need A Girl' they make a coreography for couple dance with the female backdancers, and the entrance of the female backdancer is sexy while taeyang enters romantically. In that couple dance Taeyang shows the coolside of him. but on one side jealousy arouse. taeyang, who has burn the jealousy inside the fangirls' heart, is such a smart strategist. (actually taeyang's solo activity has progressed strategically compared to other members' activities. A studio dance version with 2NE1's Sandara Park included, and a solo dance version; with this kind of various versions of music video the PR will be considerably effective too. Until now among Bigbang members' solo activities, the person who always being very sincere in doing his tv activities and have received so many praises, Taeyang; for this solo album of course fans' expectations for him are high.
From a packed and firm body to his face that giving strong impression, Taeyang does posses a very manly figure. Although that his macho body and his sweet voice is contradictive, but thanks to that charming point, Taeyang shines as a solo singer. Because, Taeyang's voice tone suited best with R&B and he can do those stunning slow dance moves. In Bigbang, the dance moves were easy, and it doesn't have to be stuck in hip-hop style. And Taeyang's solo activity was not a fan-service. With this coreography he wants to show the other members that he can show his complicated-self and the charms in him.

빅뱅-슈주, 문화부장관 표창 받는다..김태희도 수상그룹 빅뱅과 슈퍼주니어 등이 대중문화예술상 수상자로 선정됐다.
문화체육관광부는 11월17일 "대중문화예술인에 대한 사회적 위상제고와 사기진작을 위해 대중문화예술 발전 유공자에 대한 정부포상인 '대한민국 대중문화예술상'을 신설한다"고 밝혔다.
이번 2010 대중문화예술상 시상식에는 그룹 빅뱅과 슈퍼주니어가 문화부장관 표창을 받는다. 또 김태희는 콘텐츠진흥원장 표창을 받을 예정이다.
이밖에도 가수 주현미와 윤형주는 대통령 표창을 받고 배우 김해숙과 성우 배한성, 가수 이선희, 희극인 남성남, 배우 정혜선은 국무총리 표창 수상자로 선정됐다.
한편 2010 대한민국 대중문화예술상은 11월22일 시상식을 개최할 예정이다.
